The Ninja - DualBrew Pro Specialty Coffee System is an absolute game changer that satisfies ALL TASTES and all needs. Ninga was able to create a machine that takes K-kups and make drip coffee with almost no time to switch at all. this is absolute brilliance. My wife loves the quickness of K-kups and loves the ability to froth milk for her ice coffee or cappuccino. Check and check! I love my coffee to be a strong drip from beans i grind myself every morning for the fresh taste and aroma. Check! Pros: - very fast brewing - takes pods, k-cups, and ground coffee - carafe holds hot coffee for hours, its aluminum as well. - cup size is adjustable - easy to use frothing wand - compact size with huge capability - very easy to clean. - very good price. - easy to switch from k-cups to ground coffee brewing - brew in carafe or directly to a cup - great for hot, and iced coffee - easy to clean frother - touch screen with very easy to understand instructions - for me personally, it replaced 2 coffee makers that were occupying a huge space in the kitchen. Cons: zero, none, nada!!!

I love coffee and have owned a variety of coffee makers over the last four years. I currently have two different coffee makers, one for popular K Cups, plus another for full carafes, lattes, and espressos. So, when I had the chance to try out the new Ninja DualBrew Pro, I jumped at the chance to free up some space on my counter given its ability to perform all the functions of the other two makers. In the box, you’ll find the Ninja DualBrew Pro, with a removable water reservoir, an attached scooper, the installed pod holder, a Carafe, a sample set of paper filters for brewing ground coffee, an attachment for use with the hot water dispenser for frothing, the owner’s manual, and warranty information. Set up required a simple hand wash of the reservoir, removal of the protective plastic and some tape that kept the accessories in place in the packaging. The first thing I noticed was how much smaller this maker was compared to my previous one. If you’re going to use the carafe right away, you’ll need to make sure to wash it, as well, to ensure you rid of the fresh packaging/plastic smell. After a simple test brew, I opted to brew a 12 oz brew, using the pod attachment. I didn’t notice any chemical like taste and was surprised with how quickly it started brewing. Compared to my previous popular K Cup coffee maker, there was no substantial pre-heat cycle, and the brew cycle was easily monitored using the digital display. The use of the machine is simple, using both the touch and physical buttons located on the machine. If you’re going to use the hot water dispenser, you simply need to turn a knob, and pull the dispenser out. You can also easily install the froth attachment for those specialty brews. I’m also happy to report that the hot water system is independent of the coffee ground holder, making this preferrable for making tea or other hot drinks without the left-over coffee taste. The froth attachment can either be left on and tucked away with the dispenser or removed from cleaning and storage for use later. The reservoir will hold 60 oz of water, is easily removed for filling or cleaning, and can even be re-positioned to the rear of the coffee maker if you have limited space. To reposition, you will need to remove a plastic clip on the rear, and then simply move the water reservoir to the desired position at the rear. TGiven the Ninja DualBrew Pro is already half the size of a much larger coffee maker, this makes it ideal for smaller counter spaces, without losing any capacity. If you’re making a full-size carafe, you can easily “unlock” and remove the pod adapter, revealing the space for the filter, and as easy to slide over cover that’s hidden away. You’ll notice the options change on the coffee maker to select the appropriate brew size, and you can easily reference the markings on the reservoir to ensure you have enough water. Controlling the coffee maker is easy, using the turn dial you select the of the brew (from 4 oz to 12 oz pours), and then use the touch buttons to select the brew types. There are several options to choose from, and the display is easy to read to determine the current setting used. It even has a progress bar around the dial, so you know what the status of the brew at any point while it’s working. There is also a fold away cup holder, which also has some rubber grips to keep your coffee cup in place during brewing. The carafe uses a twist top and does a great job keeping coffee hot for your next pour, even if it’s a couple of hours later. When the cap is removed, you’ll find the wider opening makes it wasy to rinse out and clean after each use. I also noticed that the pod adapter makes three holes in the K-Cup, which made great tasting coffee, with a much faster brew cycle compared to my other maker. The Ninja DualBrew Pro does exactly as it’s designed to do, providing better tasting coffee than my previous makers, and was half the size of both. The space saving design makes this a great option for those with limited counter space, and the hot water dispenser didn’t suffer from any residual coffee since it works independently of the brew area; easily tucking away when not in use. The only thing to consider is whether you want to buy a permanent filter for re-use/cleaning or continue to use paper filters. While I wished this came with a permanent filter, the cost to purchase one was minimal and I easily ordered it directly from Ninja, since my local Best Buy store didn’t carry it. Overall, this is an excellent coffee maker, and if you’re looking to replace your K-Cup maker with a hybrid option, you won’t go wrong with the Ninja DualBrew Pro.

The Thermal Carafe version of the DualBrew PRO is nothing short of spectacular for those who want the option of brewing or K-Cups. I tip my hat to whoever made the design, as switching from one to another is quite simple, and both ways make great coffee. I specifically wanted this thermal carafe version over the standard glass carafe. The glass carafe version has a burner plate underneath to keep the coffee warm, but it also can mess up the flavor of the coffee by the constant 'cooking', whereas the thermal carafe just keeps the brewed coffee at a very nice temperature without external heat. Even 90 minutes later my coffee in the thermal carafe was a fine temp. The dial is easy to use to set up the amount of water you want weather it be for a brew or a K-Cup. The frother is just an add on that is NOT for those of you who want to make a real genuine cappuccino or anything, it does not use steam, does not warm the liquid, but it will make a nice frothy cup of whatever, but look at it as a bonus and not a true feature for those of you who want to make fancy frothy drinks. For ease of use, variety of brewing, and aesthetics, this is an excellent machine and the price is an added bonus.

Great machine. Right out of the box I tried a K-cup and a brewed pot. Easy to figure out. I am pleased with the footprint. Looking at it online, I assumed it was much bigger. It is sleek and does not take up a lot of space. It took the place of 2 machines on my counter. The same model with a glass carafe is $70 more on Amazon. Love the steel carafe!

The Ninja DualBrew Pro has replaced my Keurig. I love that I have much more options with this coffee machine than just brewing a k-cup. I love my single-serve k-cups since I am the only coffee drinker in the house. This DualBrew brews the k-cups just like I'm used to. I also enjoy an occasional cappuccino with flavored syrups and the milk of my choice. The frother mixes the specialty drink together, but I wish the frother warmed the milk at the same time. The instructional book suggests microwaving the milk before frothing since it does not have a warming feature. Besides the inconvenience of having to use the microwave to mix up my morning drink, the Ninja DualBrew is a great product. On occasion, I have houseguests that also drink coffee, so brewing a whole carafe or half carafe of coffee is handy and saves on the waste of so many k-cups. The carafe is cold to the touch but somehow keeps the coffee warm for hours. When I went to pour my 2nd cup of coffee (nearly 2 hours later), the coffee was surprisingly still hot. The owner's guide mentions the warming plate on the machine, but I couldn't figure that out. Even without the warming plate, the coffee stayed warm. The machine is easy to set up and easy to use. There are multiple brewing options for the drink of your choice and the size of the brew. The machine came with a few filters but you can also order a reusable filter (sold separately). The top portion pulls out to interchange the k-cup feature and the filter feature when more coffee is needed. I love that there is a water reservoir so the machine is always ready. This machine is quick and easy, no matter which method of brewing you choose. I'm happy with my Keurig replacement and I've used k-cups for the past 10 years! I gave this 4 stars it would have been 5 if the frother would worm up the milk.

We've enjoyed this coffee maker but may have chosen differently if I'd read the specs more closely. *This model has a stainless steel carafe and NO heat plate. The CF301 has a glass carafe and a smart heat plate. The coffee stays hot in the insulated stainless carafe but not as well as the usual coffee machines. *The ground coffee uses a size 4 filter and doesn't come with a removable cone basket filter. You can buy one separately on other sites, which is ridiculous for a $260+ coffee machine. *The KCup feature is like playing with a transformer but once you figure out what pieces to remove, add, push in and lift, it's good. The KCup does spew and splash needlessly and requires a wipe down each time. The water isnt very hot for the KCups. Maybe it's just my machine. *Hot water feature is quick & easy! *The milk frother is not heated (not a steamer) but works great for cold drinks. It removes and cleans easily. It does have a Melissa & Doug feel to it, but it works. **Here's why it wasn't amazing....the amount of cups this model makes is much less than average. At the normal setting it makes only 8 cups!! On classic it's about 6. This would have been a deal breaker for me but the kids find this machine easy to use and they love it. It beeps when the coffee is done and the settings are easy to understand. *The list ounces on the water reservoir is very helpful. It's compact enough to throw in an RV. Definitely not worth the regular price but well worth it if you can get it half off. The coffee taste for brewing is amazingly better than other brand coffee machines.

We've been using our new Ninja daily for a few weeks now and could not be happier with it. It's extremely well designed with a lot of function in a compact size. It's easy to use and even easier to clean. Best of all, it makes a fantastic cup of coffee. I like to use the 'rich' brew setting, and I can absolutely notice the difference. The frother/blender works better than I thought it would. Heat your milk for 45 seconds in the microwave, froth for about 15 seconds and your on the way to one tastey cappuccino. Could not recommend this all in one coffee maker more. Weve owned Ninja products in the past and they are quality made.

We have tried all the functions now and are very pleased with each and everyone of them. We purchased this for the dual mode. We like our coffee stronger than most. Thought the single serve option would be great that like normal strength coffee. Pleasantly surprised that the single serve strength is adjustable too! Side water reservoir is one of two and is the one that works for our location best. Frother is easily accessed and is very efficient. Separate hot water for tea and soups is smart and appreciated. Coffee is delicious whether over ice, straight up, or any kind of fancafied! Cleaning is even easy.

I had all intentions on buying a fancy kuerig but decided to do a little research and see what else is out there with a smaller price tag. Watched a few comparison videos and decided I would try it out. I am totally hooked! Coffee taste is perfect, I am make a variety of carafe sizes depending on how much coffee I need or I can use a pod. I can also make tea with the flip of a switch or even some oatmeal. Froth a little whipping cream for my coffee. The only little down fall is you have to switch the top out to use a pod or coffee grounds. That is pretty much the only issue and it’s a minor. I recommend watching a couple of videos on YouTube to see all the things this great little machine can do. I did buy a gold coffee grounds basket so I don’t need to buy filters. 100% recommend this coffee machine. I have had it for a month now and use it every single day. Love love love.

I really like nearly everything about this coffee maker. Highlights are the multipurpose uses (coffee, tea, hot water), the different brewing styles, the milk frother, and the detachable water reservoir. Everything is easily cleanable and the scoop that attaches to the machine is also great. The design engineers definitely get 5 stars. Honestly, the only reason I didn’t rate it 5-stars overall is that I wished the coffee was hotter, and there is no way to adjust the temperature. If you want to make a quick cup that’s immediately drinkable, then this might not be a problem for you.
