Just love this coffee maker for so many reasons. Love that you can make just one cup (several sizes) or a full pot, with multiple sizes available in between for each. Plus you can use a K-cup if you're in a real rush. Love the option to get boiling water (multiple sizes) without using the stove. Water pitcher is so easy to grab and remove. We no longer use our old expresso maker because we can now make "specialty coffee's" that are as good as our old clunky expresso maker. Ice coffee also comes out great, as does all types of hot coffee we make. We seriously love this Ninja DualBrew Pro.

Excellent coffee machine - brews exquisitely flavors of coffee come out bold and coffee is smooth. One thing I do not like is the way they made the carafe as it does not keep coffee hot for very long not like their other carafes do. Also I noticed when pouring a cup this morning the the carafe was dripping while pouring. Coffee machine cleans up easily, super smooth transition from pods to making a pot of coffee. Love love love this coffee machine!!!

This is a great machine if your family are traditional coffee lovers or if they would rather have a kurig or some tea. This machine does it all. Something to keep in mind is that this is an exclusive version for Beat Buy since it has the thermo jar.

This coffee maker looks good and makes a good pot of coffee. However, make sure you drink your coffee fast, as it doesnt bew hot enough and this version does not have a hot plate to keep your coffee hot. This is because the carafe is vacuum insulated. The carafe barely keeps the coffee hot for very long. Yeah, I could prime the carafe with boilng hot water, but how do I do that when i have it programmed to brew shortly before I wake up in the morning?
Also of note, the carafe is not a 12 cup carafe. A standard cup of coffee is 6ozs, which would make a 12 cup carafe 72ozs. This is 60oz carafe which is only 10 cups. There is no way to adjust the temp of the water for making the coffee, though the hot water option does give you a choice, so they know how to it.
The Kcup portion works well, producing a flavorful cup of coffee. Though, again, it doesnt seem to brew hot enough. It doesnt bother me that I can't use a reusable kcup pod as it does most people.
Getting the clock set up took longer than it should of. The display would only give me the clock set option if I unplugged the machine and plugged it back in. That took several attempts as it would say the time is set, even while i was still adjusting the time. However, once the time was set, programming (aka delay) for it to brew at another time was pretty easy.
Overall its a decent machine, it makes good coffee, it looks nice and can be really slim and compact by moving the water reservoir to the rear. Its just not quite ready for primetime. Maybe Ninja should of really focused on making good coffee before adding all the other extras. I also feel that should Ninja fix the issues with this machine, they should offer it to current owners for free or a ridiculously discounted price... as an apology.
I may return for the "step down" version for the glass carafe and hot plate, or simply getting another Cuisinart (which is stupid easy to set up, can adjust water hotness, has a hot plate and a true 12 cup carafe.) Its a shame, i do like my Ninja blender and pressure cooker.

A Ninja for the whole family

I’ll admit right up front that I’ve become a bit of a Ninja junkie in recent years -- from coffee makers, to blenders, to cookware, and miscellaneous kitchen tools -- I’ve been consistently impressed with their practical and smart design. This time around I went for an “upgrade” to an older Ninja coffee system I’ve had for a few years. To be fair, the older Ninja coffee maker is still working perfectly, it just wasn’t K-Cup capable and I wanted that flexibility and convenience and this is a little more compact than my older system. Being able to make tidy single-servings means my wife and kids, who are more casual coffee/cocoa/cider drinkers than I am, can pick exactly what they want and are more likely to make themselves a hot drink.
I haven’t been disappointed -- I ran multiple brands and varieties of K-Cups through the Ninja DualBrew Pro, and it consistently kicked out a nice hot cup of coffee at about 160* in the cup.
Features that stood out to me are the easy to read display, intuitive and simple touch system -- to cycle through options of how much water, type of brew, and delay brew -- and a “water only” mode where you can pick to dispense hot or boil, which works fantastic for brewing tea bags or if you need hot water for non-K-Cup hot chocolate or other instant hot beverage. The Ninja DualBrew Pro isn’t “small” by any stretch but it’s got a smart design on the water reservoir that lets you choose to place it on the the side for a configuration that’s a little wider but not as deep, OR swing it around to the back for a deeper but sleeker configuration.
To top it off -- quite literally -- the Ninja DualBrew Pro has a frother for adding a coffee-shop touch of elegance on your beverage of choice, and then conveniently twists off for easy cleaning and then folds back to stay out of the way when you don’t need it.
Although my family will use it almost exclusively for K-Cups, the Ninja DualBrew Pro comes with a high quality carafe and can quickly be switched to brew a full batch of coffee, handy for the upcoming Holidays (for example) when family and friends are over and other situations where it might make more sense to make a whole pot than individual servings.

I was looking for a coffee maker to replace my Bunn. This unit works well and brews coffee great. I also pike the versatility of the k cup brewing. I’ve not used the frother but from it’s appearance it should function just fine. I highly recommend this unit.

Simple and sleek design sure to wow anyone. I love how its so easy to clean. The built in frother is fantastic, I now enjoy specialty drinks from the comfort at home for nickels on the dollar. I have zero regret in this purchase would highly recommend. The ability to use any single serve pod is also a plus and the carafe is nice for when company is over as well.

We love this coffee maker! It is easy on the eyes, easy to use, sleek, functional, and has so many options. My husband now uses it for everything…heating hot water, making tea, full/half/quarter pot of coffee. We are thrilled with our purchase. The only thing to note is that the individual coffee maker only will use the plastic k-cups. We have tried compostable coffee pods and it sputters and doesn’t make a solid cup of coffee. We have also read that the reusable pods aren’t compatible either. It looks like Ninja overlooked the ecological options when it came to this machine. If they hadn’t, it would have been a perfect option for everyone.

I prefer single cup, hub prefers a pot. This gives us both what we want and saves a lot of space. It felt complicated at first but there are stickers in all the relevant spots that made it easy. Once I got used to it, the stickers came off. Easy to use. Easy in the eyes. And a built in frother.

This coffee maker is a fairly big upgrade from my old, standard drip coffee maker—just a basic one with a glass carafe, and the only real “feature” being programmable delayed brew.
I like that I have the option to use K-cups, even though I predominantly use regular coffee grounds. And the options for brew strength are great. It makes a better tasting cup of coffee than my old coffee maker did. I personally prefer rich, but classic is good too! The specialty brew option is neat—it lets you make espresso-like drinks (it’s technically NOT espresso, but it’s very concentrated and works good for lattes and cappuccinos). I also use this for my tea almost exclusively—it’s really nice that I can have it dispense hot or boiling water.
The stainless steel carafe is great—it keeps the coffee hot for hours, and doesn’t make it bitter like the heat pads most other coffee makers use. The milk frother is nice for making drinks with the specialty setting, and is easily removable and easy to clean—only thing is you will have to heat the milk with a microwave or on the stove first. The coffee scoop is also nice to have—definitely an improvement over digging through my coffee to find the scoop that I threw in the container.
It’s also really cool being able to select different beverage volumes—with a traditional coffee maker, I’d have to put just a tiny bit of water in to make one or two cups. With this, I can just select between several different options, and it also means I don’t have to fill the water reservoir every time I want a hot beverage. It also has programmable delayed brew too—it’s really easy to set with the dial, and remembers whatever you used last. In fact, this is easier to use than pretty much all standard coffee makers because of the dial and touch sensitive elements.
As far as K-cups go, it’s fairly easy to swap between the drip and K-cup modules. That was a common complaint I’ve seen on reviews of other combination drip/K-cup coffee makers.
Definitely recommend this coffee maker, it’s very well rounded, and the build quality is pretty nice. If you like coffee and tea, and/or even eat a lot of instant noodles, this really isn’t a bad purchase. I’ve had no issues, and I’m very happy with it!

We love the DualBrew Pro! My wife likes simple coffee but I love to make things a little "fancier". This lets us do both. I especially love the built in frothing arm. Everything we need is right there. The "Over Ice" feature is just icing on the cake! Super easy to use as well. 10/10!

This is my second Ninja coffee maker. I loved my first one (also bought at Best Buy) from the first pot and this one continues my satisfaction with Ninja products. I used my prior maker for 10 years and only replaced it because the holder for the basket warped from heat and was hard to close completely. It otherwise made the same great cup of coffee as it first did. I prefer a metal carafe, which both of these have and keep the coffee hot (but not burned tasting) for quite a while. Full disclosure: I have a great espresso maker and so do not use the frother, but have used the k-cup insert and was just as happy with my single brew. I highly recommend this Ninja brewer.

Pros:
Brew-tiful Choices: Carafes, pods (including K-Cups!), and frothy lattes – all in one machine.
Strength Spectrum: From gentle sips to bold jolts, customize your coffee kick.
Temp Tailor: Tea? Espresso? Choose the perfect water temperature.
Hot Water Hero: Ditch the kettle, this machine dispenses on demand.
Frothy Friend: Creamy lattes and cappuccinos are a frother away (milk alternatives welcome!).
Cons:
Cleaning Cauldron: Dishwasher-safe parts are a plus, but the carafe cleaning cycle can be a chore.
Pod Ponderings: Convenience might not trump fresh grounds for coffee purists.
Counter Clutter: Compact machine, but pods, carafes, and accessories can add up.
Verdict:
The DualBrew PRO is a versatile champ for variety lovers, but cleaning quirks and potential clutter might deter purists.

After I saw this new model had come out, I decided I would try it when I found a good deal for it. It was on sale, and I had a Best Buy coupon to use up, so I decided to order it. It has worked very well since I purchased it. I would have rated it 5-stars; however this model has a thermal pot and I am not pleased with that; it really does not keep your coffee hot for but a very short time. I would definitely go with a glass carafe and heated plate. That really is the only drawback with this unit. I have adjusted how much coffee I make at any one time so I do not rely on the coffee staying hot. The other disappointing thing with this Ninja is that the company does NOT include a reusable filter! That really is very bad! You can order one for additional cost but seriously, Ninja, include the darned reusable filter! It would also have been nice if they had created a reusable pod for this model. So on to the good points - frother works well so far and folds away nicely on the side when not being used. The option to switch to hot water only seems to work well, and is a nice feature for people who may want only hot water for tea, hot chocolate, etc. The water does not have any "coffee residue/taste" with this feature, so that is very nice. It is easy to remove the single serve section to convert it to making coffee with a filter. The various strengths of coffee available, along with the different ounces one can make is very nice as well. Both the single serve and the drip coffee seem to make coffee fairly quickly. Again, I would strongly suggest the model with a glass carafe and warming plate! Hopefully Ninja wises up and includes a reusable coffee filter to make drip coffee; no other baskets will fit this new model!! In that regard, they lose 1 star!! If you like the "bells and whistles" on new items, you should like this model. There are many models of coffee makers that are more expensive than this one, and don't have as many functions. The regular price for this model I feel is too expensive; as I said earlier, I saw it on sale, and with my Best Buy coupon, I did save a substantial amount. Thank you.

This was the latest addition to my kitchen which is starting to look like a Ninja commercial. This dual brew maker is a very nice looking unit and makes great coffee. I got used to using a percolator that I switched to from a Keurig machine so was worried this wasn’t going to produce flavorful enough coffee. Glad I was wrong! The coffee I get from k cups is better than any other Keurig or K cup machine I have tried. I love that I have multiple choices. I can make a single cup using a k cup or a filter with a scoop or 2 of fresh ground coffee, or can make an entire carafe if serving multiple people. I will most likely never use the frother but hey it’s there if I ever want to. The hot water dispenser is fantastic for teas and oatmeal plus the water comes from a separate nozzle free from any potential coffee contamination.
If I had any reservations it’s that I chose this model over the same model with the glass carafe that has a heating plate. The glass with heating plate is advertised to keep the coffee warm for 4 hours vs this steel carafe which is advertised for 2 hours. The glass carafe is dishwasher safe and the steel is not. I am not enough of a connoisseur to know the real benefits of the steel carafe the glass as far as taste or whatnot. This is where the k cup convenience comes in as for my needs the carafe is only used for guests and I can set it down on the table since the outside stays cool to the touch or when me and Mrs are home together in the morning and the 2 hours is more than long enough. Every other time we get our fresh hot cups using the single serve function. Only other gripe would be that the coffee could be hotter. Don’t get me wrong it’s hot enough but definitely not as hot my prior Keurig machines or percolator.
Still a fantastic beautiful machine. I chose this cause it was a higher end model and was on sale cheaper than the glass carafe version. I have no real regrets and love the machine.

OK, understand it took years to get me to cross over to the the K-Cups was nothing short of world shaking... it was a necessity as we had limited space and too many preferences. Now that I am there, I have been through no less than 4 Keurig models in 4 years and I am covered by Total Tech but it's aggravating going without coffee and not good for peace in our house so I hope this Ninja is better and can last longer than a year but a few NOTABLE differences after about a month in use:
*Coffee is not as hot temperature as Keurig - Good if you're working from home bad if you don't have a lid or taking in the car. I keep mine in a Yeti and have the sip lid ready to slap on immediately AND THIS is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars
*It's set-up to cup time is faster which I believe contributes to above but nice when coffee's in need
*It has fancy foo-foo stuff I haven't used but one unexpected like is the separate water only source. We have already for oatmeal and other recipes and with no hint of coffee, only used in a bind previously for that reason
