Awesome. First air fryer for us and so multi-purpose

Seems to be a nice machine. A lack of recipes or any substantive guidance leaves a lot lacking. Requires a lot more clean up than my connection oven. Still experimenting literally as a lot of air fryer recipes don't consider the extra, possible useful features of this air fryer.

The flip concept is great, and it does flip up easily. However, when it comes to cooking any package meal, it burns the top as the inside height is pretty tight. This is a problem when it burns up the film that's supposed to stay on the meal. I noticed it when I spelled burned plastic. Wanted to love it!

Works great. No issues. Neat flip feature. A lot quicker than conventional oven.

The form factor is nice and it is easier to clean than other basket type air fryers. I pre heats quick but compared to other air fryers I've had it takes long to cook. Something that usually took 6-8 minutes takes double the double amount of time to cook in this air fryer

Great for two people and those with limited counter space.

It takes a while heating up. Very compact. It kept releasing hot air from both sides. Overall, could’ve done better with the higher temperatures and safety.

I just purchased this last thanksgiving. Not even 10 days after, it was broken already. There was a smoke coming out from inside. Unfortunately, i threw box already and cant return to bestbuy. I called ninja warranty department and gave me such a hard time.

Bought air fryer for a Christmas gift, followed all instructions and used the air fryer twice. Both times air fryer smoked the entire house up so bad my fire alarm went off for almost 30 min.

The Ninja Flip Toaster Oven & Air Fryer is another excellent Ninja product for the kitchen. The unique part of this item is that it is meant to flip up vertically when not in use and cool so that it sits vertically and takes up less counter space. It measures 17 x 17 x 8in on the outside so it isn't particularly large to begin with, but I will say that when it sits vertically it feels even smaller. It doesn't feel like another appliance cluttering up space, and the design is smart. Even the power cord has options to keep it out of the way depending on which side the electric is from the oven. Mine is a brushed metallic silver except for the handle on the left side used to open the door. It comes with a crumb tray, wire rack, sheet pan, and air fry basket. All of these items have their own unique place where they slide into the oven so that you can cook with them all inserted, if need be, and can certainly store all of the items inside when done. They measure about 11.5 in by 13 in. It takes about 30 minutes to get the oven ready when following the instructions. I handwashed all of the slide out items, and then it is recommended that you do a brief bake with all of the internal items inserted but no food. That removes any out of the box smells. After that I used the item to dehydrate some banana slices, and it worked perfectly. I later used it to air fry some chicken strips and sliced potatoes, and they turned out beautifully. I washed the trays I used as the oven cooled, and then the oven let me know when it was cool enough to flip up and out of the way. I really appreciated the instructions because it discusses the various modes, what trays or racks should be used internally, and how that incorporates with cooking and marinating the food. These kind of air fryer/ovens don't cook food the same as a regular kitchen oven, and it isn't always clear how suggested times and temperatures for cooking on the outside of food packages should be adjusted for an air fryer/oven. But the documentation was very helpful and clear on what to do, and sometimes what not to do! Modes include: air fry, air roast, broil, toast, bagel, pizza, bake, and dehydrate. Overall, it made great food in multiple modes, and it gets out of the way when the cooking is done. I'd recommend it for any comfort level with cooking.

If you’re looking for a multipurpose cooking utensil that doesn’t take up much counter space, check out the Ninja Flip Toaster Oven and Air Fryer (SP-151). This product serves as an air fryer, toaster, baker, broiler, pizza maker and dehydrator all in one unit. It operates in the usual horizontal position for cooking and can be moved up to a vertical position for storage to save counter space. The controls are very simple after you power it on: (1) Choose your cooking mode, (2) Set time and temperature, and (3) Press Start. The Flip will do a preheat operation usually less than a minute then start cooking. This unit will come with instructions giving you specific time and temperature settings for each mode. The Flip comes with an air fry basket, wire rack, sheet pan and crumb tray for easy cleaning. The Flip follows the introduction of the Ninja SP-101 Flip Toaster Oven & Air Fryer, a similar product. The new Flip has many of the same functions, but adds a pizza setting. Although the new Flip is narrower in width, it is longer in length. The new one has a larger height for cooking larger items. I tried several of the functions. Using the Toast function made perfect toast, however not evenly. on both sides. With this toaster you have a choice of regular toast or bagel setting. The Bake function using the sheet pan made a perfect frozen orange chicken in just 13 minutes. One major difference between the two models is that the previous one lets you see both time & temperature settings at a glance. The new Flip would only let you see one at a time, but not both. This is just a minor issue, not one that would keep me from purchasing the Flip. If you don’t want many appliances cluttering up your kitchen, you should seriously consider the Ninja Flip.
