Customers are enthusiastic about the Foodi 10-in-1 XL Pro Air Fry Oven's ease of use and cooking performance, citing its user-friendly controls and ability to cook food quickly and evenly. Many appreciate the oven's size and rapid preheating time. While some users noted the appliance can be noisy and that the buttons' labeling may wear off, these concerns were less frequently reported than positive feedback.

Ninja Foodi 10 In 1 XL Is The Future Of All Ovens

The manufacturers of conventional ovens better take notice. Large, countertop, multi-functional ovens, like the Ninja Foodi XL Pro Air Oven, featuring healthier cooking technology, are here to stay. I have a high end Frigidaire Gallery Series Range I purchased from Best Buy several years ago. It is a free-standing convection range with double ovens and numerous features. It is great to cook for large family get togethers because of its 6 cubic foot capacity and all the various food dishes I can cook at one time. However, that only happens once a year. And, after using the Ninja® Foodi™ 10-in-1 XL Pro Countertop Oven I am beginning to think my existing range will eventually go by the way of the rotary-dial-telephone. Oh My! I was excited to have the opportunity to furnish an honest review of the Ninja® Foodi™ 10-in-1 XL Pro Countertop Oven in exchange for the actual product because I was ignorant about healthier cooking with Air Frying. This Ninja Foodi boasted that its convection power was up to ten times more powerful and effective over conventional ovens (like mine) for speedier, more tender, and crispy results. And, after cooking some of the recepies in the included 15 Recepie Booklet I am super-impressed (see pics)! So, I weighed the advantages of this Ninja Foodi compared to my high-end, conventional range with two ovens: * TASTE – At the end of the day this is what drives any cooking process. Sumptuous and delicious meats and veggies were cooked faster in the Ninja Foodi, which allowed the meats, especially, to retain their mouth-watering juices in less cooking time compared to my conventional oven (see chicken & roast pics). The longer meats are cooking in the oven, the dryer they get – Ninja Foodi wins this hands down. Veggies are crispier and crunchy when cooked properly in my Ninja Foodi (see attached pics). Again, my conventional ovens dry them out more, which makes it difficult to make a fair comparison. The quality of cooked foods using my Ninja is so much more tastier and healthier for me and my family, too. Yoohoo! * CONVENIENCE & TIME SAVING - Since I have to heat and cook in my six cubic foot oven it takes much longer to have my dishes ready. However, this Ninja Foodi is just over a cubic foot, and two trays of food can easily be cooked quickly and more evenly with the same amount of preparation saving me valuable time. WooHoo! The Ninja folks state that this XL Pro Oven is ten times more powerful in convection cooking then my conventional ovens. WoW! I can cook a five pound pot roast in the Ninja Foodi in approximately an hour, over cooking for three and a half hours in my conventional oven. I am convinced this is a superior way to cook my meals, and, when finished the tender, juicy meat melts in my mouth (see pot roast pic). What's not to like? * USER FRIENDLY LED CONTROLS – My conventional range ovens have Touch Controls, but do not indicate the placement levels of the oven racks for various cooking and baking functions. It is more 'Trial & Error'. However, the Ninja Foodi has bright, intuitive, LED, Touch Controls, which feature and indicate the four separate cooking levels to optimize each of the ten cooking functions. How cool is that? The control settings revert back to the last settings I used. I can stop the cooking process any time to check my food, and the time and temperature settings will pick up where they were stopped. There are four separate Convection Fan settings (Maximum, High, Medium, and Low), which automatically match the food function I choose. There is also an Oven Light Button, which comes ON automatically when unit is 'Started'. The LED timer counts down from the cooking function I so choose. What is amazing about the engineering of this Ninja is that the number of heating elements and air flow velocity is designed to absolutely match the cooking function I select. Outstanding! * BUILD & DESIGN – This Ninja Countertop XL Pro Air Oven is constructed of durable, polished, Stainless Steel. The front door swings down to open, and is made of shatter proof tempered glass for safety. All of the LED, intuitive Touch Controls are in the front of the pull-down handle for convenience and simplicity. Heat dissipation vents are at the top of both sides and at the back of this unit. Factory advises one inch, minimum clearance from these heat vents to work effectively. This unit features a three-foot heavy electrical cord for safety, and weighs 33.3 pounds. Extension cords are not recommended. On my countertop this Ninja uses a compact footprint (product dimensions 17.09" L x 20.22" W x 13.34" H). It is smaller then my Microwave and fits easily and neatly under my top cabinets. It looks classy on my countertop, and I will be using it every day. Love It! * ENERGY SAVINGS – My larger conventional oven consumes 4,000 watts of electrical power. This Ninja Foodi XL Pro Oven consumes 1,800 watts. Considering my Ninja cooks approximately three times faster then my conventional ovens, I am saving money. Yippee! However, one word of caution. This Ninja countertop oven does require a separate, and, or dedicated circuit because of its ampacity at 120V. It cannot share power with another Kitchen appliance at the same time. * TEN COOKING FUNCTIONS - The Ninja Foodi XL Pro Oven features ten cooking functions as against either of my conventional ovens, which can only bake, broil, and cook with a convection fan that has to power a six cubic foot oven space. The Ten Cooking Functions: Air Fry, Whole Roast, Air Roast, Bake, Dehydrate, Pizza, Broil, Toast, Bagel, and Reheat. One of my favorite settings is actually, Reheat. It allows me to quickly reheat left-overs using both the top and bottom heating elements. My microwave only heats the top of my left-overs, and it seems that my re-heated foods do not stay hot for very long. Please refer back to the Owners Guide for more detailed information and illustrations concerning each of the ten cooking functions. It is not a difficult 'Learning-Curve'. These intuitive controls also allow me to individualize my time and temperature settings at any time during the cooking processes. * IMPORTANT POINTS: - Use cooking oils made for high heat and a high smoke point for general cooking. - For roasting meats, and, or vegetables simultaneously – Press Level 2 Button. - For easier cleanup – Use Parchment Paper or Aluminum Foil in bottom sheet pan. Aluminum Foil works best. - The Air-Fry Basket can be sprayed or lightly brushed with cooking oil for nonstick cleanup. - Never leave unit unattended while cooking. - Oven Door is made of tempered glass for safety. But, avoid scratching or nicking. - Oven Door and Oven Surfaces are HOT. Use protective gloves, and, or mits. - Provide adequate air ventilation (one inch) all around when placing on countertop. - Factory recommends Hand-Washing of all racks, pans, air basket, and roast tray for longevity. - One Year Limited Warranty. * CARE & MAINTENANCE – For every day use wipe down the interior and glass door with just a damp sponge. If stains persist wipe down unit's interior with luke, warm, soapy water . The exterior SS finish and Control Panel in Door Handle can be cleaned with a non-abrasive, damp sponge or cloth. A deep cleaning regimen is outlined in the Owner's Guide. * INCLUDED ACCESSORIES – Air Fry Basket (SS), Non-Stick Coated Roast Tray, Crumb Tray, Two Wire Racks (SS), and Two Non-Stick Sheet Pans. Hand Washing is recommended of these accessories to prolong their useful life. There are extra Ninja accessories available at the Ninja Product Website. I ordered another Air Fry Basket to expand my Air Frying capabilities. Also included in this package is a detailed and informative Owner's Guide, an insert for Rack Usage, and Two-Level Cooking, Tips & Tricks, and a 15 Recipie Book with charts for generalized cooking of meats and veggies. * HEALTHIER COOKING – So, I have found out that Air Frying, Air Roasting, and Whole Roasting is not only quicker, tastier, and juicier, but also healthier too. YooPeDoo! Eliminating 75% of cooking oils and fats does not take away from any flavor. However, it does cut down on approximately 70% of unneeded calories. Amazing! After using this Ninja Foodi XL Pro Oven, daily, for almost two weeks I feel confident this is HEALTHIER COOKING, and, the new wave of the future. After cooking various meats and vegetables using the Air Fry, Whole Roast, Air Roast, etc.- I am not going back to my conventional ovens. . . . I highly recommend this Ninja Countertop XL Pro Air Oven. It is the 'Vanguard' of future ovens. Ten desirable functions over my expensive, three-function, conventional ovens – No Brainer. It is quick, saving me time and money, but more importantly my foods are tastier, juicer, and healthier too.

If you're looking for an all-in-one countertop device, this does everything other than pressure cook! It arrived on Friday - the only thing we've had to cook in it so far is something pretty simple - frozen mini-pizzas. We put them in, set the over for Pizza, and let it fly - WOW, talk about perfect! Seriously, no muss, no fuss, start it, walk away, come back when it dings and enjoy your meal! Don't let the sound of the device scare you - it kinda sounds like a jet engine spinning up, but it cooks oh so perfectly. We'll be removing some other devices from our kitchen and letting this one take their places! Only draw-backs of this unit - you'll have to listen to your wife continually talk about how awesome it is all weekend! Other options are: Whole Roast (yes, a whole chicken can be cooked in this unit!) Air Roast Air Fry Bake Dehydrate Broil Toast Bagel Pizza and Reheating

I am in absolute awe of this Ninja Oven! It has so much dynamic functions I don’t know where to start. To not overwhelm I’ll try and be concise. It does what it is supposed to. I expected it to work as an oven but to also fry food. This was my first venture into the air fryer realm and I’m glad I waited! My first journey in air frying was crab cakes. I have never made a crab cake in my life by the way. It was fluffy, crisp, and warm. I had this weird fear that air fryers wouldn’t cool to the core but it sure does. My apologies I don’t know what convection is but I sure as heck feel like it does that well. The oven itself comes with many pre-sets like pizza slice reheating function. I love that one! I’ve used it like 5 times already. Clean up happens in a jiffy because I lay foil on the rack so I can just roll it up and toss it in the trash. Do not hesitate to scoop this oven up if you’ve been thinking about it. It is worthy of your counter space and I am really enjoying not having to heat the whole kitchen up with turning on the stove.

I was so excited about this purchase but 1 week into using it, the button labels started rubbing off. I was hoping that I received a defective oven and exchanged it for another one, soon to be disappointed again with the same issue. I am surprised how they could make such a poor quality oven and expect to sell it at a high price. All labels should be digital. I would definitely not recommend buying this.

This oven is an absolute dream! It is easy to set up, easy to use, has all of the creature comforts you might expect from a nice countertop oven, but also has a lot of small details that you wouldn’t normally think you’d want. The two biggest I’ve noticed is the interior light turning on for the last minute of cooking, allowing you to clearly inspect your items before deciding to add more time to cook or let the it finish, and the choice of display colors. The latter is incredible, as it allows for a clear and easily visible clock reading that stands out against the black handle, but also is subtle enough to blend into the rest of the oven. The interior light is used for other nuanced features too, when you open the oven door after the timer has completed, the light turns on to aid you in finding the items you wish to remove and does the same after the oven is finished preheating to allow for easy placement, too! This will make cooking an absolute dream! The various cooking functions are very straightforward and easy to select, with each of them taking only about 90 seconds to preheat, which for most frozen items can be counted toward the total cook time and still come out perfect. The air fryer is very easy to use with the included air frying basket and will produce perfectly crisp fries and chicken strips. The overall footprint is quite small for a larger countertop oven, taking up the same width and depth as most 4-6 slice toaster ovens, but the height is substantially shorter, definitely thanks to the handle integrated digital controls! It is very modern looking and will fit in with most stainless steel or black appliances, very easy to clean, and the included crumb tray makes cleaning even easier! Overall, I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a convenient and easy to use, all-in-one unit to replace their air fryer, toaster oven, toaster, and even their main oven! If this thing had a stovetop, our kitchen stove would be totally replaced! This oven does it all in one small footprint!

    Surprising countertop oven

I got a say that this Ninja Air Oven has me surprised. It combines ten cooking functions, all in one unit. The unit is large enough to cook a lot of food, and it is excellent for many usages. It comes with an illustrated cookbook, a full owner’s guide, cleaning instruction, and a quick start guide that give you brief information on the ten types of functions. The informational materials have plenty of charts, instructions, illustrations for using the oven with different functions, such as the type of food, amount, cook time, how to prep, and the temperature setting. The control panel is easy to use, and it lets you know which rack level to use for the specified cooking function. Compare to my last countertop oven; the Ninja unit does not release that much heat the outside surface. The light in the oven automatically turns on for a couple of seconds when starting to cook and can be controlled manually. The unit heats up very quickly, which significantly reduces the preheating time. The fan in the over has some low sounds, but it is not annoying. The entire unit is perfectly design and function perfectly. I use a lot the air roasting function to cook chicken, and the skin comes out nice and crispy and the meat juicy and perfectly cooked. It dehydrates food more than my dedicated dehydration machine. The baking function works great, all my cakes come out perfectly cooked on the inside, and the crust evenly browned. Overall, I am delighted with this countertop air oven; it reduces cooking time, food gets cooked very well, has man functions, is large enough, and easy to use.

After having the unit for only a few months, the screen printing on the door has already war off and its inconsistent at best. Its not horrible but basic cleaning should not remove the basic things needed to use the unit like the power label etc.

I am a fan of Ninja products they are usually built to last and are affordable. But this product is the expectation, not only is it difficult to clean but it also lacked quality control. A big issue was the lettering would just smudge off and leave the user having to guess what buttons do. They also should of coated the interior with a non stick coating but instead it has an almost brushed aluminum to it which causes grease to stick to it.

Great choice. This thing does almost anything you could ever want. Super multi-function... 1) Whole roast, 2) Air roast, 3) Air fry, 4) Pizza, 5) Bake, 6) Dehydrate, 7) Broil, 8) Toast, 9) Bagel and 10) Reheat. It arrived very well packaged. It's a relatively large unit, but was from closed box to countertop in less than 4 minutes. Attractive unit, solid stainless steel. It is a large unit. The size might be good for some but maybe not for all depending on counter space. Tested two frozen pizzas. Both cooked at same time and were great. Much more efficient than the 220v full size oven. The settings allow for choosing between 1 shelf cooking and 2. It did a great job on both pizza's. Next, my daughter did a batch of cookies. They turned out great as well. And again, much more efficient than turning on the full size oven. If you have the room, I would recommend this as a great choice and I would recommend to a friend.

When I first received the oven I thought I made a mistake ordering such a big oven, but this is so well organized that it takes slightly more space than our old toaster. This is because unlike most other toasters, it doesn't have the controls on the left side taking valuable space. Instead the controls are on the handle, which is an innovation I didn't see before in a toaster. However be aware that is also very deep, although standard counters provide enough space for it. It's also quite tall, so this might be something to consider with non-standard counter sizes. A reason while this is very deep is that the very large convection fan on the rear of the unit takes considerable space. If there is anything to complain about is how deep it is, although it's not an issue in our case. The controls, that are on the handle are well though of. The handle is all black with a few buttons when off. When turning it on, the left side of it illuminates with a list of all the cooking modes and a digital numeric display in the center. The flow is like this: Turn it on, and defaults to the last setting, or press one of the two mode buttons to scroll through the modes. Then press the up or down timer buttons, and the (quantity) button. Press start. Pretty generic like other newer toasters. Everyone in the family got how to use it right away the first day. To me that means it's intuitive. It also has lights with recommendations on which ones of the four rack positions to use. Great plus, takes any confusion out of it. Because it has four rack levels it can cook on two racks at the same time. This model comes with a great number of accessories: Two rack trays, two pans, one grilling base (that goes on top of any of the two pans), and an air-frying tray that can also be used for dehydrating. Shark/Ninja also sells additional accessories for this oven like additional trays and pan, a thinner mesh dehydrating pan, ceramic pan, chopping boards (customized to store on top of the oven) and cupcakes mold tray. Because it has a very powerful convection fan, it can also 'air fry', for which it recommends using non-stick oil spray. There is a multilayer mesh that latches from the front of the fan that's dishwasher safe and should be cleaned after using the air-fry mode. The dehydrating mode works by combining heat with air circulation, which can dry some fruits or vegetables in about 6 hours. The top and sides of the toaster are stainless steel and does attract some fingerprints, however the door is more resistant to fingerprints. While the glass can get very hot (it's not a double-glass), the handle here the controls are remains cool to the touch. Besides the large depth (It's an XL sized oven after all), there isn't anything that I did not like about this. Overall it's a great machine that one can tell it was very well thought of. Comes with good amount of accessories and even some recipes to try out. Likely the largest convection fan in a unit of this type.

XL PRO RESULTS IN SO MANY WAYS

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

The NINJA XL PRO R&D engineers went 'all out' to one up the competition with the number of cooking capabilities integrated into one very handsome stainless-steel appliance. Arriving in near impenetrable packaging, the machine might require a second set of hands to maneuver onto the kitchen counter for those, at any age, who are not super fit. Initially I was impressed by the very sleek design that would raise the style quotient of any kitchen with stainless-steel appliances. (All black may be another option.) What first struck me as a footprint too large for my counter, I wondered if my measurements were incorrect. I was relieved to find an easy fit into the same space held by my substantially smaller toaster oven. Moreover, I was also a tad intimidated by the unit's unique system with all settings built into the door handle. BTW, the finishes of a black plastic molded handle with large, easily cleaned expanses of stainless steel are easily cleaned, sans dirt collecting nooks and crannies. Turns out my fears were quickly allayed by two very clearly written manuals that proved the system to be extremely logical and user friendly for any who consider themselves "electronics dummies". As an avid and regular dehydrator, I was sold on the unit by the potential to have that option integrated into a countertop system allowing elimination of a separate multi-tiered dehydrator. 1) I was super pleased with the results achieved with my first trial that dehydrated 2 recipes on 2 levels. I chose DEHYDRATE from the list of options on the left of the handle. With two recipes, I pressed Level 2 that indicated what rails to use, guidance that can be adjusted to your liking. I put my flaxseed crust recipe on Level 2 and my cauliflower florets on Level 4, both stuffed or coated with a spicy marinade of chia seed, sesame, ginger, pumpkin seed, a kimchi juice, Coconut Aminos, Braggs Aminos and tahini. For dehydrating, most important to me was the ability to select a very low temperature setting. Though I wanted a starting point at 106 degrees, I found adjustments to temperature can only be made in 5-degree increments. Then found that +/- adjustments to time are calibrated at 15-minute increments, at least so far within the DEHYDRATION Setting. Though my temp setting was not available, selecting 105 degrees for a 24 hour period was not a deal breaking compromise because I was more pleased that I was able to find a range of time and temperature settings that preserves the high enzymatic value of raw foods, a fundamental motivation held by foodists vetting appliances for dehydrating. Another special perk is the on/off button for interior lighting. Not seen in other machines I have experienced is an interior light that turns on as the door opens, affording inspection of cooking progress. Moreover, when the door is opened, the selected setting is not lost; so, no reset is required. 2) I used another third of my cauliflower coated in the marinade then set to AIR FRY. 3) And, finally, the last third of my very large cauliflower was cooked as a solid unbroken spiced half-round in the AIR ROAST mode.(Cauliflower globes and 'steaks' are trending now in restaurants serving eclectic and/or regional American dishes.) Overall, I was thrilled with the results achieved in all three settings, adjusting expectations to inform future dehydrating and other settings on the Pro XL learning curve. For best results when using 2 level dehydrating, it may be smart to have recipes of similar contents or just expect to make time/temperature adjustments to bring to fruition intended outcomes in doneness and texture. No getting away from having to monitor the variables when cooking anything. The manuals give us ballpark guidelines but vigilance is required when trying to suit one's own peculiar taste. An overview of results follows: I did achieve the crunch and flavor profile sought for the dehydrated flaxseed crust. Dehydrating cauliflower florets resulted in great shrinkage of volume but, nonetheless, tasty results. The small and malleable rounds were great on my salad. Dehydration outcomes depend on the nature of the fruit, vegetable, fish, fowl, or meat. Tolerance for an endless experiment is required but the rewards are great when you discover how to manage the variables to get the results you want. Moreover, dehydrating is another tool to achieve food independence. Savored as much as the flaxseed crust, AIR ROASTED cauliflower was another perfect outcome. I really enjoyed the larger florets that were juicy while affording more defined flavors of the marinade as compared to the dehydrated results. And, the AIR ROAST Setting for the globe of cauliflower delivered a perfectly golden tahini crusted outcome with a surprising depth of flavor. I had to restrain myself from taking more than the test bite. The globe didn't need the AIR FRY Setting to get a crispy finish as expected. Additional NOTES: Settings are calibrated to PREHEAT in compressed time, unlike competitors. When cooking cycles end, the unit shuts down and a buzzer sounds, a greatly appreciated perk since my old dehydrator has no timer or automatic shutdown. The manual recommends that the splash screen at the back of the unit be cleaned after each use. After engaging the unit on Dehydration for over 20 hours for a degree range from 105-115, questions emerged about energy efficiency. As a consumer concerned about reducing energy consumption, a chart that affords a list of kilowatt's consumed by each Setting indicated on the panel as related to Energy Star parameters might be a useful addendum to the manual. Apologies if I missed those previously defined line items. To reduce carbon footprint, one notion is that NINJA establish a post-consumer waste program for their expanding list of appliances. And/or to increase market visibility as a leader in our push back against global warming, the company could lobby for legislation that asks all food industry manufacturers, marketers, and packagers to follow their lead.

I love this oven. I have used most of it features and love them all. It cooks quickly and air frys like most. I like that I can cook larger items and even multiple items at the same time. I wish there was a good cook book with this to help with cook times. The manual was not much help for this. The only down side is that most everything can't be put in the dishwasher and must be hand washed. I just follow the instructions for cleaning everything inside . Next up a nice roast .

Finally, a small appliance that isn't just a waste of counter space. My wife and I fell in love with our Ninja Foodi pressure cooker/fryer combo unit, but got to the point where we couldn't fit all of the things we wanted to air fry in it and kind of wore it out. We looked for a while for a multi-function oven and after having such a good experience with the 6in1 foodi, we decided we only wanted another Ninja. Luckily this was announced as we were shopping, so we pre-ordered and waited for arrival. This unit is such a streamlined design, nice and easy to clean, and looks good taking up counterspace. Our goal with this oven was to essentially replace the in-wall oven we have for day-to-day meals and be able to supplement it when we were doing larger meals and had dishes that required different cooking temperatures, etc. It has done exactly that, to the point of we got rid of our toaster, and turned our in-wall oven on for the first time in over a month last night. We have air-fried eggrolls, bagel bites, french -fries, veggies, chicken nuggets, etc. Once you get your temperature figured out, everything comes out so great, no more dried out over-cooked oven food from a traditional oven. The second thing, this is a PIZZA REHEATING MACHINE! Seriously, next-day refrigerated pizza put on the 3rd shelf in the fryer basket, set on Pizza setting 425degrees for 5 mins and it ALMOST tastes better than it did when it was fresh. The crust gets perfectly crispy (but not dry and hard) and is just fantastic. We do homemade nachos on oven safe plates on the lowest rake, broil on high for 3 minutes better than any nachos you can get in a restaurant. We toast breakfast sandwiches in it each morning as well. Seriously, you will not regret this. It's worth every penny of $279.

I love, love, love my 10-in-1 Ninja Pro Air Fryer Oven. It has almost made my regular oven obsolete. It looks great on the counter, practically does everything you can think of and doesn’t heat up the whole kitchen for hours. My only negative comment has to do with the interior which, after a fair amount of use, can get a bit cumbersome to clean because its aluminum, which likes to hold on to spatter. Nothing I can’t live with though. Overall, it suits my needs nicely. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I do love this oven! The variety of things you can do with it is really quite amazing. It does the best job on a London Broil I've ever had and it is consistent with the results. Now the bad or misleading information. Yes it sort of pre-heats in 90 seconds, but it is not truly up to the full temperature at that point. So for some functions that require precise temperatures, you will need to just let it run for a few minutes to make sure it's where you need it before putting in the food. If you clean it within a short time, as in as soon as it cools off, then it is very easy to just wipe everything clean with a damp cloth. But if you need to wait for some time, like maybe the next day, then it is tougher to get the inside of the oven really clean. And heaven forbid you forget and use it again in the meantime! Reaching the back surface wall is pretty difficult and you can't apply much pressure there. Since the cleaning instructions say not to spray any cleaners directly on surfaces, repeatedly getting a cloth wet, then holding on a spot that is being stubborn is just really aggravating. My unit didn't come with the filter screen over the fan area and trying to wipe the grated area there is pretty tricky. The other down side is that grease and splatter gets directly onto the fan, which you can see, but can't get to to clean at all. While brand new the oven runs really quietly, but now that I've used it for a couple of months the noise has gotten noticeably louder as time goes by. It's not obnoxious, but it is clearly louder. Now something that I've seen mentioned many times on the various sites I use to get cooking tips and recipes is the disappearing labels on the control handles. TRUE! The start/stop label was the first to go on mine. Many have resorted to using a label maker before things start fading too badly. The rest of us just memorized which button does what. If you're trying to decide if getting the model with the temperature probe is worth the cost, then just get it! The ability to have the oven turn off when your food has reached the right temperature takes all the guess work out of how long to set the timer for. I didn't get that model because I have a nice temperature probe already, but it's not a smart type so I have to keep a close eye on how far along I'm getting. This thing is huge so the amount of food you can do at one time is really great and I haven't used my regular oven once since I got it. There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to which function does the best job for what you're cooking, but there are multiple areas on Facebook and Youtube that offer a lot of help, particularly if you've never used an air fryer type appliance before. Including the hack of buying the grill plate from the XL Grill and using it to make this oven actually grill, not a function that it normally does. All said and done, I'm happy with it and would buy it again.

I was having Air Fryer Envy, and my Breville toaster oven needed a new bottom heating element, so I agonized about whether to go big or small. And what brand do I trust? Well, I finally pulled the trigger on this new Ninja Foodi 10-in-1 XL based on the design, size and features. There weren't yet many reviews out because the oven is a new model, so I had to just take the plunge and try it. Best Buy delivered it within 2 or 3 days of my order, and I LOVE THIS OVEN! Some people complain that the fans on these air fryer toaster ovens are incredibly loud, but I actually find this a very pleasant sound when it is running, and the little chirp is makes to tell you the food is ready is quite a charming little sound, and if you fail to open the door, it keeps chirping ever minute or so, which I really like. Nice big display, fairly intuitive controls, and nice use of the oven light which comes on automatically towards the end of the cooking time or can be turned on or off from the front panel as desired. I was also blown away by the quality fo the roaster pans and the air fryer basket -- they seem almost TOO nice (well made and heavy duty) for a countertop toaster oven. As far HOW it works -- well, I am still trying to figure out whether I should reduce the temperature or time of any given cooking instructions, but it has done an amazing job reheating leftovers, making pizzas, air-frying french fries and onion rings. If you're looking for a larger countertop-style, multi-use toaster/convection oven, I really think this is one is worth considering. I had fully planned to return within my Elite Status 45 day return window if it disappointed me in any way, but once I started using it, I couldn't imagine being happy with anything smaller or weaker. One other cool feature is that no matter what setting or temperature I select, the oven is hot and up to temperature in 90 seconds -- so FAST! In short, I LOVE IT. I was prepared to exchange it or go in another direction if it ever felt cheap or poorly engineered, but I after a few weeks of ownership, I wouldn't dream of being without this Ninja Foodi oven.
