I have used this several times since I purchased it and I absolutely love it. It works just as good as it advertised. I have made the Three course meals in less time than I could ever imagine. And in the photos I posted I made an incredible omelette.

Just bought this and the main reason was to cook my chicken wings! Tried it for the first time the other day and they did not disappoint. They were golden brown with a slight crunch and very moist. But can’t wait to try other things to cook also.

This 8qt. 14 in 1 is the latest iteration of Ninjas line of Pressure Cookers/Fryers. The big difference from my prior 8 qt Foodi is the pressure cooker and fryer lids have been combined - no separate pressure-cooking lid to store anymore. Since the pressure-cooking lid is now built in there is slide adjustment to select either pressure cooker, SteamCrisp or AirFryer/Stovetop modes. Also temperature now goes to 450 – up from 400 in my old unit. The downside to all this is its now even heavier and slightly larger than my prior unit. My wife could not lift it up/down from counter to store. Base of unit is sturdy with easy-to-use controls. Temperature and cooking time are selected using up/down arrows with digital readout. With slider in left most position rotary control only allows pressure cook. With slider in center position 2 rotary control allows you to select either steam/crisp (new) or seam/bake (new). With slider in right most position this allows you to select from air fry, broil, bake/roast, dehydrate, proof for baking (new), sear/saute, steam, sous vide (new), slow cook and finally yogurt. There is on/off and start/stop buttons as well. Layer rack reversible rack used for broiling or steaming non-stick cook and crisper basket with detachable diffuser non-stick 8 qt. removable cooking pot – a tad thicker than my older 8 qt Foodi. A nice “starter” booklet of recipes with an bar code to get even more recipes. At the back of provided recipe book there is a list of foods with general cooking times if using steaming, broiling, air crisper, pressure cooking, etc. Nicely organized owners guide that lists several accessories that can be purchased separately such as roasting rack, dehydrating rack, loaf pan, crisper pan for specific cooking applications. Actual use. Using air crisper French fries came out great. Only effort was to stir occasionally. When you lift the lid cooking stops and re-starts when closed. Also you can change temp or time on the fly. Cooked chicken wings using steamer/crisp using the 2-layer reversible rack(s) inside the cooking pot. I added 1 cup chicken broth (you must add at least ½ cup of a liquid) to build steam. Wings on top layer cooked slightly quicker than those on the bottom. But bottom wings were crisp on the bottom which was somewhat of an issue with my old Foodi. I was apprehensive about the cooking times suggested as it just didn’t seem long enough to cook, so I added about 10% more time and temp. This was a mistake on my part as they were just a tad overcooked. Believe the times listed/suggested. Also, I would suggest spraying the racks with oil, so food doesn’t stick. Also used sear/sauté option to make gravy from the above chicken drippings. Just removed chicken (and skimmed grease) set selection and heated it up. Didn’t need to dirty up any other pans. Cooked a rack of baby back ribs using recommended pressure cooker time. Cut ribs in half to fit into basket and turned them on their side. When done did not use air crisper but instead put them on hot outside grill for about 5 minutes to crisp up and put BBQ sauce on. They were very tasty and succulent. Used steamer/crisp to cook 6 lb. chicken. Just salt and pepper with a cup of chicken stock for liquid. Very impressed that bottom was crispy. Again, I cooked too long not trusting time/temp suggested. As such breast came out just a tad dry – but that’s operator error. Just reinforces to follow their recipe directions. Cooked banana bread, which I had never tried before, using provided recipe. It came out great, but top was a tad crispy. I am attributing that to fact I didn’t have a Foodi loaf pan, so used an 8-inch by 2-inch round pan that fit. Since the pandemic I, has have a lot of others, started making my own bread. Cant wait to try the proofing option but just didn’t have time before review was due. Used air fryer to cook boneless pork chops using suggested times. They came out juicy, but I would have preferred a little more “crust”. May pump up the temp for the last couple of minutes next time. Clean up is mostly a breeze. The cooking pot, cook & crisp basket and its detachable diffuser are all non-stick and dish washer safe. Also, the tilt up crisper/pressure cooker makes cleaning much easier than other units where element is built into the top. But I have had issues where food bakes itself onto the diffuser making it hard to clean sometimes. The outside metal of the unit does get pretty warm but never hot enough to burn you. Plastic vent on top stayed cool. Nice to cook things in one unit, with minimal mess and no heating up the kitchen/oven. Could not try all the cooking options but plan too soon. The new steam/crisp mode is a fantastic idea. Certainly, seems to help food stay moist and cook quicker. You can even safely cook frozen beef, fish, pork, ravioli, etc. No need to wait to thaw! Provided hints suggest lowering any current recipes temperature by 25 degrees when using this unit. Doesn’t mention time adjustments. Downsides. It is large and heavy. While it doesn’t “rattle” like my old Foodi it does produce a “whine” when using any of the fryer selections. Over a long cooking time it can get a tad annoying. But we have an open floor plan making it hard to escape the noise. We have had our current 8qt Foodi for 2 years and use at least a few times a month – with no issues. Hoping for same with this unit long term. Another great product from Ninja and highly recommend.

Best purchase for my kitchen so far! I love that it comes with soo many options. I purchased it for pressure cooking only but the air fryer option is fantastic. Then only thing I'm not happy about is, it didn't come with air fryer rack which I had in the 6 qt.

We already had a Nija air toaster but for the price we went ahead and invested in this baby. The fact that you can completely cook frozen wings in 20 minutes and they taste like they were cooked on the pit is amazing.

Good to have it in a kitchen. Useful for different kind of food. I prefer to use it for only one type of food for each use. I founded it more tasteful on that way. I used it for: yogurt, meat, veggies, rice. I do not recommend preparing pasta in Foody if you prefer italian pasta taste. Easy to use. Not noisy.

To be quite honest I bought this for my wife so I really have no idea how to use one of these toys. Anyhow I huddled up with my daughter and this is what she recommended and my wife absolutely loves it. She’s already made some soup, bone broth and a couple of other dishes so she’s giving it a 5 star review. That’s about all I can add.

Absolutely love the smart lid. My friend has one with the separate pressure cooker lid and has to store it. This unit is so much nicer. Use it for daily use - air fryer, pressure cooker, slow cooker, and sear my meat for soups and add remaining ingredients for one pot cooking. Also, so easy to clean. Absolutely love it & great sale from Best Buy!
