Best fries I ever had!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an amazing device for anyone who like French fries! Such a beautiful result every time and no mess! Construction is pretty simple - 2 baskets, 2 heating elements and 2 fans above the heaters - but the result is just right! Crispy golden fries with a nice crunch to the outside, warm and soft in the inside. I was never able to achieve such amazing result with a regular dip fryer! This machine can not only air fry, it has multiple other functions such as Broil, Roast, re-heat, Dehydrate and bake. Operation is simple - just pick the mode for each basket (it's fine if you want to use just one) - set temperature and time, press Start. Don't forget to pull the basket out and shake the food every 5-7 minutes so it's crispy from all sides :) If 2 baskets set for a different program - machine can delay the other one so they complete cooking at the same time, making it easy to prepare 2 different dishes. Couple minor drawbacks: - Compare to a dip fryer - air fryer takes significantly longer. I rarely cook anything longer than 5 minutes in a dip fryer, however 40 minutes in air fryer is totally possible. - Device is sort of underpowered when 2 baskets are used together. Cooking time goes up... Device comes with a standard 15A 120V plug so I assume it's just a power limitation... Maybe Ninja will consider selling a 20A upgrade kit? Or maybe even 240V kit? Positive things: - No oil. no mess. It's much easier to setup and clean up vs a dip fryer. Much healthier food as well! - Easy to take with you to a neighbor's party - no oil, means no long cooling time. This machine is cool in about 20 minutes. - Machine is not too big, comparable to a dip fryer. - Easy to operate, safer option, especially if you have little kids. No oil burns. Overall - if you like fries - it's a must have!

Great air fryer for small families
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First air fryer. I thought I'd give it a try and was intrigued by the double basket setup. I wanted to be able to cook different things at the same time to make a complete dinner for a family of 3 and this fit the bill. I have to say I'm impressed by this contraption. It's really easy to use, cooks food really fast. It's less messy than using the oven, and as someone who lives in Phoenix AZ, I can just take this fryer on the patio if I don't want to heat up my house. There are a lot of free air fryer recipes online, and it's pretty easy to use so you can be creative. I really like cooking vegetables with this. I've done garlic roasted green beans, cauliflower, potatoes, crispy kale chips, butter nut, crispy tofu, french fries are now super easy, breaded chicken breast to top salads with, roasted pork bellies. The only failed attempt was when trying to cook beef patties for burgers (ended too dry). It won't duplicate true oil frying, but it's pretty close. It's a whole lot less messy and easier to clean. And since I switched to the pricier avocado oil a couple of years ago, it's a lot cheaper than deep frying. I like the roasting feature as well. I haven't tried the baking feature, but my kid will probably give it a go. Ninja makes good innovative products. I'd recommend this one. It's so nifty I end up using it several times a week. Thumbs up.

Everyone in the house is now a great cook
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had used my son's single basket Ninja and already knew how great the food turns out and how easy it is to cook things. But then I found this dual basket version for about $75 off and had to get it. This takes things to a new level. We can cook two things at once at different temps and different times and with the press of a button they are both ready at the exact same time. This unit will delay starting the basket with the shorter cooking time to make sure both finish together. Cooking the same thing and just need more than one basket holds. No problem. It will sync the baskets so they both do the same thing. Best chicken nuggets, fries, potato skins, crab wontons and so much more that I have ever had. Even at full price this is a winner. Find it on sale and you'll be even happier.

How could we have gone so long without this?
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We didn't know we would love this thing, but we do. At first, we ordered a single-basket unit, but when it was out of stock, we decided to buy the two-basket unit. We had read many reviews of air fryers in which the reviewers said they eventually bought a second unit to have a second basket. So we cancelled our order and bought this two-basket model. We're glad we did! We use both baskets nearly all the time. We don't have any criticisms of this product. It is easy to use and easy to clean. It easily fits under the cabinet and doesn't take as much counter space as two separate units would. So, watch a few videos, learn how to use it and enjoy! These things make fantastic french fries.

Air fry 2 different things at once!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Ninja Foodi 2 basket air fryer can half your meal cooking time and is a blessing when hosting guests. If you’re new to air frying, they’re basically convection ovens with high speed fans that help cook food quicker and crispier. They won’t exactly match the results of traditional oil frying, but it’ll give you better crispness than a regular oven ever could. They do an amazing job on frozen foods like fries, tenders, nuggets, and calamari, so much so that guests might think they’ve been fried. Calamari was a game changer for me, because they never come out crispy from the oven, but give them 8 minutes at 400 degrees on air fry and they’ll be perfectly crispy on the outside, while still tender and moist inside. No more deciding between undercooked and soggy or crispy and rubbery calamari! But what makes this Ninja Foodi air fryer special is that it has 2 baskets that enable you to cook 2 different foods at the same time. Breaded chicken in one basket, roast pork in another; different cooking times and methods (air fry and roast) working simultaneously to save me time, while still giving excellent results. This unit can do a lot more than just air fry though, there’s an air broil mode that can go up to 450 degrees, a roast, bake, reheat, and dehydrate. I’ve tried each one except for the dehydrate mode so far, but I’m looking forward to seeing how well it can do some beef jerky. I do wish each fry basket had an internal basket that you could separate and dump out the food without worrying about the drippings. Not a big deal, that’s what tongs are for, but it’s the only thing I wish this unit had vs my old air fryer. Overall, it’s about the size of a microwave, fairly well built, and does a great job of cooking 2 different things at once. If you’re in the market for an air fryer, definitely give this one a look, especially if you’re cooking for a lot of people. Being able to do wings and fries at the same time is going to be great when football swings back into gear. Read on for a few more details. FUNCTION Because there’s 2 baskets, this Ninja Foodi air fryer is a little bit more complex to use than a traditional single air fryer. There’s 2 independent cooking zones that share the same controls, so you have to keep in mind which basket you’re programming for. It might sound a little confusing at first, but use it a few times and it all makes sense pretty quickly. Press power, select basket 1 or 2, choose your cooking method, then set the temp and time. If you want basket 2 to have the same settings simply hit “match cook” and your job is done. If you’re cooking 2 different things, it’s essentially the same steps, but after programming one basket, press the # of the other basket and set your time and temp settings for that one. From there all you need to do is press start, but there’s a “match cook” feature that’s pretty convenient. Match cook is if you want both baskets to be finished at the same time, which is great if you’re busy and in “set it and forget it” mode. The Air broil is a cool feature that I’m experimenting with more. I tried it for crisping up some duck skin for peking duck rolls, but couldn’t tell much of a difference between it and the air fry mode. Excellent results with both though. It comes with a recipe cookbook and a chart with suggested cook temps and times, but the best results will take some trial and error. Just remember not to pack the food in tightly as air fryers work best when there’s some space for air to circulate.

Great Product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have never had an air fryer and I consider myself to be a reasonable good cook. I am very capable in front of the stove as well as grill and smoker. To my surprise, I love this air fryer! It is great for chicken breast, chicken wings, plant based burgers and meatballs, Brussels and lots more. Most importantly, it is really simple both in cooking and cleaning. Get one if you do not have one, you will love it. The 8qt is perfect size, not too big and not too small.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't say enough good things about this air fryer! It has transformed my cooking experience. It's incredibly easy to use, cooks food to perfection, and is a healthier alternative to traditional frying. I love the crispy results and the fact that it's a breeze to clean. Helpful to have 2 drawer to cook at different temps (or match cook if a lot of same item cooking"

Best Air Fryer With Dual Baskets - JUST BUY IT!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Of all the Ninja multi functional appliances, this one by far is the best for air frying! I have three other Ninja appliances, the pressure cooker that crisps, the grill, and the oven, and the only one of these 3 that comes close to the air fryer is the oven. This air fryer has 2 baskets that helps preparing 2 different types of food at the same time cooked at different temperatures as well as different times. You can set each up individually so that both food items will be finished at the same time. So well worth the price, even though I got mine at a fabulous price during Black Friday week. Just buy it, you won't regret it!!!!

Love & use all the time!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love having the 2 baskets with the choice to cook 2 different items at different temperatures at the same time. I have tried several other airfryers & this by far is my favorite! With the 2 baskets there is plenty of room to be able to cook item of choice in a single layer so they are evenly browned. We cook our steaks with this which is great as my husb. wants his Well done, & I like med. rare... & now our steaks can be cooked to our liking & both be ready at the same time. Highly recommend! I waited until there was a sale & am sooo happy we purchased!

2 fryers in one
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great machine. I researched and this one got the best reviews. It is actually 2 machines in one that can Air Fry, Air Broil, Roast, Bake, Reheat, and Dehydrate. The dual 4 quart baskets make it easy to get a meal done all in the same time while giving you the capability to cook different things different ways. The baskets are a cinch to clean. It is like having 2 fryers in one that take up less space than individual ones. Highly recommend it and with Best Buy price match guarantee and free shipping you can't beat their deal.

Love!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This air fryer is amazing. I am a fat guy at heart and I love that I can air fry multiple things at once. Before with my old ninja air fryer I would just mix products together and put it in one pot but sometimes things would cook faster than other things and the temperatures would need to be different. Now I have two separate compartments so I can put my meatballs or chicken wings in one side and my french fries and mozzarella sticks or tater tots and the other side. This my friend is fat guy love.

Dual Zone Means Twice The Goodness
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you’ve been hesitant about purchasing an air fryer, which can be a major purchase in some cases, your search is over. This Ninja Foodi Dual Zone 8-quart Air Fryer makes it easier to cook a complete meal in the air fryer. In one basket (you) can cook a meat dish while, at the same time, the vegetable or other side dish can be cooked in the other basket. And what is so neat about this particular Ninja air fryer is that you can have two different foods with two different cook times and two different temperatures and still have both foods finish cooking at the exact same time. Other positive things are: it’s easy to program your cooking choices; a crisper plate that’s easy to insert, remove and clean; the non-stick coating in the baskets is good quality; baskets are a good size — 4-quarts each; the dual baskets are very easy to remove and insert into the air fryer; overall clean up is very, very easy. The baskets are dishwasher safe but, as with any nonstick coating, hand-washing is highly recommended. Something else I have found with this particular Ninja air fryer is that there is no preheat option. Therefore (you) need to take this into account when programming a recipe into the air fryer. Personally, I add three minutes to my cook time in order to allocate a time for preheating. The instructions are very straightforward and very helpful. A few recipes are even provided. The only downside, that I have found, is that the electrical cord could be a little bit longer. And be careful with the outside of the air fryer because the material scratches easily.

Excellent product
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently bought the air fryer to make healthier meals with less oil. The air fryer is very easy to use, I love how crispy my fries and chicken wings turn out without using much oil. The only downside is that the basket could be a bit larger to cook more food at once. Overall, I’m very happy with this air fryer and would recommend it to anyone looking for a healthier cooking option.

User Friendly/Great food!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.WOW--I always doubt these gadgets are as good as they say, but this is AMAZING. The fries are just as good as the ones in oil. Our kids use this as it is so user friendly and they make chicken and vegetables. One of the coolest features is that you can cook totally separate items since there are two sides. It is big, but would fit under our cabinets on the counter if we wanted it to. We keep it in the pantry, though.
