Great product to use to shredded cheese or make smoothies

Verdict: The Ninja Foodi Blender looks beautiful, it is more versatile and powerful than our previous blender, and it is more user-friendly. It’s the best blender we’ve ever had. Initial impressions. I was expecting a blender with lots of buttons like all other blenders out there, but I was pleasantly surprised with simplified and streamlined controls. I love the sleek and futuristic look. I was also impressed by the included accessories, especially the food processor attachments. Setup. If you’ve had a Ninja blender before, this system functions much the same way as previous models. If you haven’t had a Ninja system, the locking lid has a button to allow the handle to close, and the blender locks in by setting it on the base at an offset, and then turning it clockwise to lock. Every part of the system conveys quality, durability, and function. Usage. When we first used the blender, it took a few minutes to figure out what settings corresponded to what we liked to do with our old blender. The options are simple, so you should be able to find a preset setting that works well, or just press the "on" button and then turn the knob for more speed. The blender delivers ample power; we made margaritas on the second day and managed to make them as “frozen” as they are in restaurants… actually the margaritas were like a sorbet… it was wonderful! Using the food processor accessories was very intuitive and simple. The lid is also very well designed, allowing for foods of various sizes to be added, or pushed into the processor blade. The two blades included were good for how we use our food processor. While there are only two blades included, one of the blades is 2 in 1; you can flip it to use a different cutting pattern. Technology. The Smart IQ presets are really neat to achieve perfection for specific drinks or foods. With Smart IQ, the blender will blend in a certain way and for a certain amount of time to achieve the best result for the preset you selected. We mostly use the smoothies and bowls selections, and they are really great. For margaritas, we use the smoothie button, and we use very little water to achieve a nice frozen consistency. Things I like: - Sleek and futuristic new look - Easy and streamlined controls - Tons of power to blend through anything - Smart IQ presets save time and produce higher quality results - The food processor capability is a great addition - The blender is very versatile with all the included accessories - Love the smoothie bowl maker with the tamper! The consistency you can achieve is amazing. Things I don’t like: - I wish that the base was fully stainless steel, instead of gray with some stainless steel. - Our last system had both a tall and a small smoothie cup. I wish this one came with a small cup. I will buy one separately. Overall, this is an amazing blender system with tons of versatility and ample power. We are very happy with this Ninja blender and we highly recommend it.

The Ninja Foodie blender revolutionizes the functionality and features blenders have to offer. This blender, besides having a modern aesthethic that's pleasant to the eye (and your counter space) keeps it simple - from putting blender parts together and apart, to pressing the 'start/stop' button. It is truly something you'd want to try for yourself. The Ninja Foodie Blender comes with lots of different pieces for the different types of food and snacks you'd like to make. It comes with the base, the power blender and processor pitcher, the total crushing and chopping blade assembly, the dough blade assembly, the hybrid edge blade assembly, the feed chute lid, a disc spindle, a slicing disc, a grating disc, a medium sized cup with the lid (Nutrient extractor cup), and an XL smoothie cup with the lid (XL Smoothie bowl maker). The cups and pitcher is made out of thick plastic, which makes it one less worry about having to replace a broken pitcher (I've dropped and broken one from a different brand before). Although there are many pieces included for the blenders different functions, the small instructions and stickers with pictures and arrows Ninja included on the individual pieces makes it easy to put together and use. The Ninja Foodie blender has simplified many cooking recipies for me and makes cooking easier. It is one blender with multiple functions. It can switch between grating or slicing disks, blend smoothies in the same cup you can put a lid on and go, and also turn a knob that helps mix your drink to ensure your fruit or vegetables are mixed well while you're out and about (instead of endlessly shaking your cup; it's changing the game!). It can even knead dough for pizza or cookies, how cool?! Trying out the smoothie function for myself, I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I actually made one smoothie after another because the blender is just that easy and cool to use. Once you set and lock the cup or blender jar in and press the power button, the blender recognizes the type of insert and digitally displays the blender setting. You are also free to manually change the setting by turning the knob if you'd prefer to use a different setting. By pressing the start button, it starts blending and starts a 60 second timer, which you can press again to stop at your preference or let the timer run out on its own. In between the timer, it pauses to let the items in the container to sit and automatically starts up again. This helps for create well blended, cut, or crushed results. I wanted to try and cut my own lettuce next.. I used the processor blender pitcher with the feed chute lid and pusher, and inserted the slicing disk with its proper cap/top to insert the lettuce as the disks spins. It saved me the trouble of chopping up lettuce and it only took a few seconds. You can make juices, chop up or slice other veggies or fruits, and even grate different cheeses. The usability for this blender is truly amazing. I would 10/10 recommend this blender to anyone looking for a great blender that can serve for multiple functions. It is made with high quality material, looks great, and will be used a lot for years to come.

=== My take === The Ninja Foodi Power Blender Ultimate, if you haven't used such a blender "system" before, has a learning curve that will have you looking up the manual a few times before you become acquainted with all the parts and what they do. The effort is worth it, though, because as long as you invest some extra time and learn the ins and outs of all the functions and experiment with them, your time in the kitchen will become more efficient and your creations will look better and probably taste better, too. My favorite component is the XL Smoothie Bowl Maker since I drink protein shakes every day. The 1200-watt power is sufficient to break down my frozen fruits and ice and turn them into a velvety silky smoothie that I didn't know was possible. Prior to using the Ninja Foodi blender, I was using the Blendtec Design Series 8-speed blender which cost $549.99 back in 2017. The Foodi does a noticeably better job at creating smoothies which was impressive. My wifey, on the other hand, likes the slicing/shredding disc the most because it saves her a lot of time chopping vegetables. She initially said the blender was a bit intimidating and confusing to use because she's used to simpler blenders and she's not tech-savvy at all. Once I showed her how to use it a few times, she's since gotten used to it and appreciates having it around. In terms of aesthetics and build quality, both are excellent. The machine looks attractive and the fit-and-finish is very satisfactory. The large central knob actuates smoothly and the LED-lit words are bright and easy to read. If you’re in the market for a basic blender, then this might be a little more than what you need. This is so much more than just a blender. This would take the place of so many other kitchen appliances. It is by far the most robust ‘blender’ I have ever used. Setup process was a little intimidating at first. Again, this is a bit more than just a blender. There are many addons and different parts to take advantage of all the features, so you want to look at the quick start guide. Also, a thing to note. There are 2 blades that you can use for the food processor mode. Both come in cardboard sleeves with a warning about how sharp they are. Listen to that warning, they make quick work of anything that comes into contact with them. Once you figure out what all the attachments are used for, using them is a snap; both literally and figuratively. All the attachments are easy to snap into place and you can change from one mode to another withing a few seconds. I’ve been able to use most of the different modes on this beast of a blender. The actual blending part is a breeze. Whether we are blending some vegetables, frozen fruit, ice, etc., everything is simple to use. Toss everything in, choose the desired mode on the easy-to-read dial, and go. I love the extra blades and it makes short work of anything in the pitcher. My favorite thing so far is the smoothie cup with the stir system. You turn the dial on the top of the cup, and it turns some fins in the cup to help scrape some of the smoothie off the edge of the cup. This makes it easy in blending and if you’re trying to pour this out into another container. The other nice surprise is the food processing feature. You can feed the vegetables into the top through a special attachment included in the box. You pick the disc that has the type of cut you are looking for and just feed them into the blender. Makes it super easy to cut up your ingredients. This is such a great tool to add to any kitchen. It takes the role of so many of our kitchen appliances. Easy to use, tackles most food preparation assignments, and easy to make your smoothies. This is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a superb blender.

Ninja is a well-known kitchen appliance company with quality products. This blender is no different and has been an outstanding addition to my kitchen. This Ninja blender does it all, from crushing ice, slicing vegetables, and making my favorite smoothies, I have been seriously impressed with how it has held up. The blender is a blessing for cooks. I wouldn’t consider myself an expert cook and know how to use everything included effectively, but with the knowledge I have, I do love how everything has worked so far. Before this blender, I owned a much cheaper blender. While it did blend, there were still chunks of food whenever I blended something. This Ninja blender does an excellent job at completely blending all your ingredients. I am a huge smoothie guy and have enjoyed making actually “smooth” drinks. This Ninja blender doesn’t only just make smoothies. You can slice/shred fruits and vegetables, make dough, grate cheese, make single-serving smoothies(with 24oz cup), and much more! I meal prep a lot and usually cut up my vegetables by hand. Having this blender cut up my vegetables with the included disk slicer/shredder has been exceptionally helpful in saving time. I didn’t know how to use some of the accessories included at first, but the instruction manual did a wonderful job of showing how to use the accessories. Ninja also included a recipe book with helpful hints, tricks, and recipes. I also love the controls Ninja implemented for the blender. There are only 4 physical buttons, the power, mode, pulse, and start/stop buttons. There are two modes for the blender, Auto-IQ and Manual mode. Auto-IQ mode has programmed times for whatever you are making whether that would be nut spreads, smoothies, or dough. Manual mode is self-explanatory, you get full control of the speeds and blending time. Speed is controlled with the turn dial. Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with this blender. Not only does it aid in making mouth-watering drinks, but this blender has significantly cut down food prep time. As someone who doesn’t have a lot of free time, I did enjoy using the 24oz single serving cup to take on the go. And if I ever need to make more, I can always switch over to the pitcher. Who is this for? If you are someone who loves cooking and is looking for a new blender, I do recommend you try this Ninja blender out. Also, if you are someone looking to make food prepping go a little faster, do give this blender a shot.

This is my second Ninja Blender system. The first one lasted three years. I was hoping to get more use out of that one but it just got louder and the blades got really stiff (they wouldn’t turn/spins as expected after a couple of years of light use. Anyway, Black Friday deals were good enough for me to give Ninja another chance. The blender is powerful and it also looks pretty nice. I hate that there is no release mechanism for the suction cups. I have to literally put effort in pulling it out of my kitchen countertop. One of the shake cups has a mechanism that spins and removes food stuck on the wall of the cup but it actually makes it really hard to clean it afterwards. Cleaning the blades for the small cups is a pain since the rubber ring that seals does not come off easily. I have to insert the tip of a knife and try to pull it out to remove food that sets in that area. Maybe this will the my las Ninja Blender system.

I use this almost everyday since the purchase. There is so much that can be done with this machine. I am really appreciating the power of the unit and how simple it is to clean, after use.

I love the little Ninja blender/food processor/smoothie maker, etc. Amazing power and better design than the SS201 with additional attachments. I love making smoothie bowls for a quick healthy snack. Also, really enjoy the food processor for slicing cucumbers and zucchini. You can use it to make nut butters and more. Worth the coins. The only semi negative is that it is louder than I’d like for it to be. Great quality, useful attachments and a decent price. Ninja is really stepping up the kitchen appliances. Great purchase, I would definitely recommend.

Excellent blender! We use this often and it's a great piece of machinery. Powers through frozen fruits, ice, whatever you need. It looks good sitting on the counter too!

So far, I’m very pleased with the Ninja: it has the power to make great smoothies using frozen fruits, spreads like chicken salad & guacamole, and slices zucchini, cucumbers & onions with ease. Slicer blade flips over to shred cabbage & carrots for coleslaw. Have not used the dough function or the grater blade for cheese, so can’t comment on those functions. Blades are extremely sharp - hope that they will stay sharp after daily usage. And cleanup is EZ!

Love my new Ninja Foodi Power Blender Ultimate System. I love that is has so many features and accessories and is so easy to use. Great value with the blender and food processor features in one machine, especially since I just killed my food processor's motor. This unit seems to be very powerful, I use it daily for smoothies.

Fantastic!!! Why did I wait to buy! This sl thing is so perfect for smoothies and food processing. It goes to frozen fruit like nothing, everything mixes perfectly! I don't find it to be loud at all. Mixes dough up well. Slices, chops, grates like a charm...so fast! Easy to lock and unlock.
