Both the immersion blender and hand mixer work great and they’re easy to use and to clean.

Unboxing and set up was easy, instructions were clear and after initial cleaning I was able to put the system to work. Luckily we make baked goods once a week at our house, so I was able to use the system for bread, cookies, and a cake on the first day. Swapping the power base from the immersion blender to the hand mixer and back again was simple enough. The multi piece design made cleaning between uses much easier than if I had two separate heavy units to clean and hand wash. Less cumbersome without a motor or power supply attached. What I really liked was the storage options. Since the system breaks down into smaller components, it was easier to make space in the drawer and cupboard for the pieces. It also looks pretty cool. I know that isn't something that is critical, but the stainless steel and black color combination matches with our other Ninja kitchen appliances and looks professional compared to a mismatched set. All in all, I'd have to say this is a nice set for daily use and stores easily. Combine that with plenty of power and relatively quiet running, and it makes a great set up.

This works great as both a mixer and an immersion blender. I felt like the motor had no problem whipping up a batch of meringue cookies and making whipped cream, with the mixer having 5 speeds and the immersion blender having two (thanks to a turbo button). Changing out tools is super simple and the immersion attachment is completely dishwasher safe. It also comes with a jar for use with the immersion blender attachment and the mixer attachment has both a pair of beaters and a whisk. Everything is packaged well. Setup is super-easy and very intuitive, with release buttons on the tools for switching things out. Usage of the unit in either mode is intuitive as well; the immersion blender mode just has a power button and a "turbo" button for high speed until you release it; the mixer mode has 5 speeds, including a "turbo" button that takes you straight to high speed until you release it. The other part about this kit is its overall power; a half cup of heavy cream became fresh whipped cream in maybe 2 minutes, and it whipped merengue faster than my older hand mixer does by about a minute and a half.

SO FAR SO GOOD, I HAVE ONLY HAD IT FOR ABOUT A WEEK NOW BUT IT DID WELL WITH FROSTING AND MAKING TOMATO SOUP.

It works great, I have the same air fryer brand for the past two years, and I'm pleased with it.

The mixer is easy to assemble as it has snap together features and release buttons. The blender is quiet and blends quickly. The mixer mixes in an offbeat pattern which seems to mix the batter really well. There are 5 speeds that allow for mixing various types of ingredients. I didn’t feel the need to use speed 5 because it was too powerful. You may go to speed 5 without channeling through each speed, by pressing and holding the turbo button. Releasing the turbo button brings the power back to the previous speed you had it set to. If a child is helping out it would be wise to not let them use it in turbo speed as it requires agility, strength and balance. The metal mixer pieces insert easily and have a release button. The two metal pieces have a slight difference at the end where it gets inserted into the blender. Cleanup is easy and practical. The blender can be wiped down with a clean damp cloth and is easily maintained. The blender isn’t heavy and seems to be just the right size to be a good helper in the kitchen. There’s a power button on the mixer which disables the functioning of the other buttons. The mixer comes with a nice sized container which helps prevent splashes and spills when blending. The two features that stand out most to me are the quick mixing abilities, the low noise level and the ability to go from stick blender to mixer. Baking just got a whole lot easier and more fun too.

This is not as powerful as I would have expected. The best feature is the immersion blender.

I've never had a Ninja product that wasn't top quality, and this little mixer is no exception. Its very intuitive to put together and use, the fit and finish is perfect, the included accessories are very nice as well. I like that it's basically two or 3 devices in one. It's a really smart design that saves a little space in my drawer. I used this to mix up some fancy scrambled eggs, a batch of brownies, and just to see if it would do it well or not, I used it to mix up a nice breakfast smoothie. This little blender/mixer handled everything perfectly, and was also very easy to clean up as well. The variable speed function works great, and I found it useful when mixing the brownies to start on the slowest setting and then work up to the faster settings so I could see if the batter was going to start making a mess. The blender feature is the same way, I like starting out slow, then hitting the turbo button once the blender has reached the bottom of the cup. Overall this is an amazingly useful kitchen tool, built with very high quality, and it works exceptionally well. 5 stars all day, highly recommended!

I've been working on replacing all of my small kitchen appliances with Ninja products. They're such an affordable, superior brand and I've never had an issue with any product I've owned so far. I didn't plan on replacing my handheld mixer, but I have wanted to try an immersion blender so I couldn't pass up this combo! So far I'm loving it! The mixer has a lot of power behind it and the immersion blender is just as useful as I hoped it would be when mixing my stovetop soup and even coffee in the morning! I can't wait to use it when I bake cookies for the holiday season. For the immersion blender, you can switch between two different speeds. The mixer has 5 speed options, which is pretty standard I think. It doesn't take up a lot of storage space too, which is a plus. I think the only downside is that it is pretty heavy. I could see my hand getting tired of holding the mixer if I needed to mix a lot of different things in a row. Overall, this seems like another solid, well made product from Ninja! I will happily continue buying from them.

I purchased this in May and eight weeks later after a very few uses it doesn't work. I would not buy this again. It is past the return date - which was 3-weeks after purchase. I used it for blending quartered limes. I think the rind was too much for this machine.

After using a cheap immersion blender for years and always being dissatisfied with it, we decided it was time to upgrade. We’re fans of the Ninja line of kitchen products, and regularly use our Ninja 5-in-1 grill and Nutri Ninja blender, so we were excited to try out their immersion blender. I placed my order, but didn’t even notice until it arrived that it also included a hand mixer. Bonus! The core of the system is the PowerBase, the handheld motor that powers the mixer and blender. I love this idea! Simply snap the PowerBase onto the mixer handle, add beaters, and you’ve got a mixer. Push the two buttons to remove it, and snap on the immersion blender attachment, and now you’ve got an immersion blender. Everything is very well-built and feels solid in the hand. I’m impressed by how everything feels. As a hand mixer, the Ninja has 5 speed settings, plus a Turbo button. Every time you start the mixer it begins on the lowest speed setting, which is great, and prevents an unpleasant surprise when just starting out. The buttons are responsive and provide tactile feedback to let you know you’ve pressed them. The overall profile of the mixer with the PowerBase is actually smaller than most of the better-quality mixers, which I liked. What really impressed me was how well-balanced it feels in your hand. This shows that the designers had that in mind, because not every multi-attachment system is made that way. The package comes with a pair of regular beaters, as well as a whisk and a 4-cup blending pitcher with lid. Optional dough hooks are also available. The performance of the hand mixer was just what you would want in a higher-end tool such as this. The motor operated the beaters smoothly, and there are enough speeds to prevent splattering. A mixer should do a good job of mixing up ingredients, and this one does just that. The motor shifts speeds smoothly, and the turbo button provides a burst of speed when you need it, without causing the mixer to lurch in your hand. The immersion blender is what I really wanted, so let’s get into that. The blade is a generous size, which comes in handy for blasting through big pieces of food. Just like the mixer, the unit feels good and solid in your hand. The powerful engine really impressed me when making a smoothie with big chunks of frozen fruit. The manual advises the use of liquids, and that does make things easier. Once I started blending up the fruit, I could feel the downward pull of suction, demonstrating the power of the motor. It barely made any noise and I realized that I was done. The fruit was pulverized and the blender barely made any noise other than the whir of the motor! The same thing happened when making soups—this thing is a beast! It didn’t take any time at all for me to decide that this would be our new go-to for mixing and blending. I immediately got rid of my cheapo immersion blender, but we’re also replacing our hand mixer as well. The Ninja is more compact and less bulky, and just feels better. Eventually, we plan to add the food chopper attachment as well, and that will likely replace another appliance in our kitchen. In my opinion, the immersion blender is the star of the show, but the mixer is great as well. The powerful motor is what makes it all work so well.
