One time however caused more smoke than expected but I had coated item lightly with canola oil (one of the recommended suggestions) before grilling. There was sufficient fat in the meat that the oil was not required. The result was still excellent and cooked to perfection using the temperature sensor. Just part of learning details of the product through experience.

The Ninja Foodi

I was so proud to serve such deliciously cooked meat. I used it many more times for chicken producing wonderfully tasty chicken wings. My next new meat will be pork chops and know they are going to turn out very juicy. I’ve brought home take out French fries and crisped them to my liking. The Foodi is so very easy to clean.

So far we used it to grille salmon, steaks, and burgers. I like rare and my wife only cares for well-done, you put the temperature probe in the well-done piece the indicator lights tell you when to remove the rare meat and then gives indications for medium on up to well-done. Works perfectly. Haven't tried the any other cooking functions.

I love the grill ... , which is an extra special feature that I was wanting with an air fryer... it has a thermometer.. no guessing... the whole unit is non stick which makes clean up a breeze... there’s a lot of features... roast... bake... grill... airfryer... broil... no more turning on my oven... I’m very happy with it!
