One of the best coffee machines I have used. The cold foam option is top tier.

The spot where you put the porta filter gets jammed after awhile. Can’t fix it either. Also the bean grinder can’t get clogged up after awhile so make sure to clean that regularly and also dump the water trey out or you’ll get a flood from the bottom

This coffee machine is excellent. The only downside is the US versions do not come with a hot water dispenser.

I think it’s alright. Honestly if you’re a coffee connoisseur am pretty sure you wouldn’t even look at this machine. I have my coffee with milk usually so maybe my taste is not as refined but once you add milk you can’t tell the difference between this machine and my 150 dollar machine. The espresso by itself actually tasted worse than with my cheaper machine . Overall I don’t think it’s worth 500 dollars worth if you drown your coffee with milk anyway.

Excellent coffee maker, exactly what I’m looking for

The machine itself is high quality and well built. The consistency and taste of the coffees and espressos were great. However it does come with quite a bit of work compared to a fully automatic. I ended returning the unit and paying a bit more to get a fully automatic machine due to the amount of work to both make the coffees or espressos and the cleanup involved.

I bought this item wanting to try it out and see if i liked it. It is perfect and versatile. I realized I wanted something targeted just for espresso, though. I contacted Best Buy to see if I could still return the item since it was 2 days past my return time frame. I assumed it would be okay since it was just 2 days, but instead of giving me an extension, I was offered their annual membership, which offered me no solution to my current problem. I’ve been a Best Buy credit holder for years and was very disappointed.

Bought the machine and within a week it broke. I was able to grind the bean but when I went to brew the espresso it would pull the water and pause for about 2 minutes before reading er 14. Unfortunately I could either return it to Best Buy for a new one or the same option through ninja but ninja would’ve taken 2 weeks for the new one and only a week through Best Buy. Hopefully I have a better experience with my replacement. Customer service for the broken machine was good.

Would have given this product 5 stars if it had not stopped frothing after just three weeks.. Ninja is out of stock and I am out $500 and a coffee machine until it can be replaced.

If you're interested in brewing SINGLE espresso's DON'T BUY this machine. It makes perfect doubles, but does not come equipped with a SINGLE basket, and it's not even available on the market. So if you only drink double-shots, enjoy, otherwise wait until they release a version with a single basket.

We loved our Cafe Luxe, but only for 6 weeks. The grinder had issues and would only recommend a grind size of 1, regardless of the bean. This is a known issue that I discovered by doing a Google search. A Ninja customer service agent confirmed the issue and said that they will send us a new one. Sounds great! Well, I'm not 10 days without a coffee machine because Ninja won't ship your new one until their warehouse receives your old one. This is a very poor process because the customer is the one being burdened. Not only by purchasing a new faulty $500 coffee maker, but by having to pack it up, take it to FedEx, then wait for Ninja to confirm that it arrived at their warehouse before shipping out a new one. I'm not sure if it could get any worse.

I made the mistake of selling my breville espresso machine and buying this one, mainly this one does not come With a pressurized filter, the milk does not become creamy but more foamy, it is impossible to make designs, maximum temperature of the milk and coffee is not hot enough and there is no way to do it manually. The only thing good about it is the appearance

I love the machine, but is only been a few months and is leaking a lot of water on the bottom. Is making a big mess everytime

Picked up this machine, and second espresso in, the grinder system malfunctions. Keeps saying to add beans when clearly there is some. The funnel and shoot system gets backed up, and habe to start all over. By that time the auto measuring beans system is so off the espresso basket is too full! Will habe tk contact Ninja and hope for the best.

This is similar in size compared with other espresso machines, so make sure you have enough room on your kitchen countertop. Setting up the machine is easy, and Ninja provides handy guides and instructional videos for you to follow through. The entire packaging is neat and includes all the accessories along with the machine. The tools included are portafilter, milk jug, double basket, Luxe basket, assisted tamper, cleaning brush, cleaning disc, funnel, descaling powder, cleaning tablets, hard water testing kit. Once you set up the machine, there are couple of things you will want to do before you start brewing. First, you will need to test your water for hardness. This completes your setup and the machine is ready for brewing. This espresso maker comes with Barista Assist Technology. What it means is that the machine will automatically calibrate the grind size of the coffee beans, dosing based on weight, temperature, and pressure adjustments for the beans you are using. For the machine to recommend the grind size and adapt personalized brewing, you will need to follow the steps included in the quick start guide and brew your current beans twice. After that, the machine will now start using this innovative feature to get perfect espresso extraction for your variety of drinks. Remember, every time you change your coffee bean type, you will need to re-caliber and follow the steps so the system can adapt to your new coffee beans. My initial thought was that this was going to be a hassle, but after the first use, it was clear that this additional step is easy and straightforward to do. The system has a easy to use control panel on the front with digital display that has the dial buttons to customize drink options including temperature control, milk options, froth presets, and grind size. It also displays notifications for drink actions. The machine has manual grind dial on the left side to manually adjust the grind setting to match the recommendation. I really like the storage compartments on either side of the machine to store the funnel, tamper, baskets, cleaning disk and brush. When making a drink, the machine uses the built-in scale for weight-based dosing and grinds the beans using the integrated grinder. Keep in mind the grinding, brewing, milk frothing are all done one step at a time. The progress bar on the display panel will show you the status during each step. I tried making few different drinks and they turned out to be incredible and tasty. My family and friends who are coffee enthusiasts loved it. They could tell the difference in the drinks made with this machine and my previous coffee machine. The cleaning and maintenance is simple as well. Most of the parts are dishwasher safe. I can't wait to try various drink recipes. Overall, this is a versatile machine for brewing quality coffee drinks at home. If you are a coffee aficionado or someone who likes a quality brew, you can't go wrong with this.
