I feel like a real barista with this product, it took some time to get used to because it has ALOT of settings but once I was able to figure it out and get my ingredients it's PERFECT! One downside is the water tray fills up fast so you constantly dumping it out but takes maybe 10 seconds.

I’ve been looking at the Ninja Luxe Cafe for awhile now and finally decided to make the purchase. I’m so glad I did! I was worried that there would be a steep learning curve but it’s been very easy to use so far. The set up was simple and I appreciated the included recipe booklet. I’ve made many different drinks so far and haven’t had any issues.

Probably the worst Coffee System in the market

Probably the worst piece of machinery that you could ever buy. It's inconsistent from day 1, breaks less than 90 days after you buy it (you might end up watching DIY YouTube videos to add washers to the grinder), and just frustrating because of the false advertising of having "Barista Assist Technology," which, quite frankly, is just a marketing scam.
I'm writing this after 3 months of use, and here are a few highlights:
- 70% of the time, the grinder dispenses the wrong amount of coffee (too little, too much)
- Grinder "Barista Assist Technology" started to go down to "01" advice, which triggered the DIY search on YouTube (coffee was not being grind enought to make an espresso)
- Constant leaks of water because their "floating" system is just poorly designed and just doesn't show accurate levels of water in the bottom tank.
- Overall, the cheap materials feel like they're going to break any second.

Hello Juan,
Thank you so much for sharing your review. We're truly sorry to hear that the Luxe Café Pro didn’t meet your expectations. I've never been a Barista before, but after using the Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro, I feel like its my new side hustle. I'm an avid coffee drinker out of necessity for that morning caffeine jolt and I just happen to enjoy the taste of it as well.
Covid really made me take a look at higher-end coffee machines because not only was the world shut down and I was working from home daily, buying coffee on a daily basis had become an expensive necessity. What better way to break that habit then a global lockdown? I tried out a few expensive units and found one I really enjoyed and got a lot of use out of that had a built-in grinder and made a number of different coffee types, so the Ninja had a high bar to meet for home coffee makers.
The Luxe Cafe Pro right away is stunning to look at. It has the full high-end espresso machine look to it with the espresso portafilter handle, steam wand, milk/froth carafe and side tamper. The display has a full array of options and knobs and buttons without looking overly busy and the top still has a large surface for setting accessories, extra baskets. The entire unit feels sturdy and the chrome finish and metal are all solid. All of the components that can get dirty are easily removed/detached and top rack dishwasher safe, but for most daily use, just wiping or rinsing is enough until you want to do a deeper clean.
The main aspect of the Luxe Cafe Pro compared to other coffee makers is a really important difference even compared to other automatic or semi-automatic coffee makers that use whole beans and have an internal grinder. The Luxe Cafe Pro still uses a Portafilter and shot baskets for coffee grinds which need to be tamped down to compact them. The hot, pressurized water is then injected into the puck and that's how you get your concentrated espresso. Other units all of this is happening internally and the puck is ground, tamped, brewed and discharged. With the Luxe Cafe Pro, you do this semi-manually and while it seems like this would take a long time, it really doesn't once you get used to it. It also results in a much better tasting coffee as the grinding, basket, and tamping process really lets you dial in the flavor of the resulting espresso or coffee.
Cleanup is also much easier than I expected. Because the holes in the shot basket are so small, no grinds actually pass through it. And the puck is tamped down and solid, then injected with hot water, so it all sticks together firmly, you just bang the Portafilter on the side of the trash can and the puck comes tumbling out, there should be few grinds in the basket and a quick rinse allows you to set up the next drink, or place the Portafilter back in the grind dispenser. That was another super nice touch, the grind dispenser has a "magnetic" aspect to it so that when you place it in, it pulls it in place perfectly every time. Then you tamp it down twice and you're good go. I did have a few loose grinds around the edges of the basket after tamping but I think this will improve as I get used to the process over time.
I've only had 5-6 drinks so far but right away, I could tell the quality of the coffee was superior to my older unit. Its likely a sum of all the components, from the grinding calibration, the manual puck tamping, the pressurized hot water only having to go through the basket and not an entire internal assembly. The depth of flavor was amazing and I could easily adjust the strength of the coffee depending on the bean type and the drink with the Cafe Pro's suggestions.
The biggest visual indicator of the coffee quality was that on my older coffee maker, by the end of the drink cycle, the liquid turned from dark brown to light brown. With the Luxe Cafe Pro, the liquid is a dark, dark brown and stays dark brown until the end. I almost feel like I could get a 2nd drink out of the puck that would be similar strength and quality as my old unit.
Some other awesome features of the Luxe Cafe Pro:
* Absolutely huge water reservoir at 80oz. My other coffee maker only had 48oz. My fridge has a 48oz. water pitcher and it takes nearly 2 refills to fill it up which is awesome!
* It fits oversized cups, mugs, and tumblers! You can pull out the center drip tray portion to fit larger glasses, both my 12oz Yeti Rambler and 20oz Yeti tumbler fit underneath without any problems. With my old coffee maker, I had to tilt and hold it or risk having it spill all over. This is actually a huge time saver as I can start the brew process and continue getting ready instead of wedging and holding my cup for the brew cycle on my old coffee maker.
* The frother actually spins your milk or creamer and has a little wheel at the bottom of the cup. Not sure if this is some kind of magnet doing the work or just the pressure and angle of the steam from the wand. The wand is also easy to wipe down and clean and doesn't burn/scald the milk on the wand like some other units I've used in the past. It also self-cleans itself and the cup itself is easily rinsed or washed between uses, which makes it very convenient.
I also noted a few things to be aware of with the Luxe Cafe Pro that were not so great:
- This thing just destroys coffee beans haha. I mean coffee prices are up around the world due to a poor crop and recent tariffs, so it is something to keep in mind. If you want a double shot, make sure you wanted a double shot. You will see those beans fill up that puck and then go into the trash. I could tell it was using a lot of beans because the hopper totally filled up was empty after 3 drinks. My old unit, i could go about 2 weeks between refills bc it had a larger hopper but also used less grinds per drink/puck.
- The portafilter takes some leverage to twist on and may not be easy for some folks. This is probably the biggest issue with the basket and handle type manual espresso makers but at least you don't have to separately tamp it as that can get messy and is super cumbersome. Tamping it in the dispenser is natural and easy. I needed to hold the top of the unit while twisting the portafilter into position, or the unit would move.
- The different baskets could be easier to remove. There's really nothing to hold onto, and everything has to be nice and flush to work properly and fit etc, but its going to be a nuisance if you switch coffee and drinks a lot. The baskets are actually keyed with the wider "tooth" facing the handle portion of the Portafilter, and on this larger piece, it also tells you which size you are using, Luxe, Single, Double. I found pulling from this back side was the easiest way to remove the baskets but anyone who has weak hands or fingernails they take good care of....you'll want to be careful swapping these baskets.
- At first glance, this unit can be really intimidating, but I highly recommend watching the Getting Started video with the QR code which sends you to Youtube. The intro tutorial is extremely well produced and easy to follow, but they go fast, so don't be afraid of pausing, rewinding, restarting and watching multiple times. Once you've watched a few times and tried your first few brews, it becomes second nature.
- One thing that's important to note is that the unit will only offer some types of drinks with the correct basket size, so if you want coffee, iced coffee, etc on the right side of the dial, you'll need to use the Luxe basket.
- It is LARGE. Both deep, wide and tall compared to my other coffee maker. It still fits under standard height cabinets on the countertop, but you'll constantly be pulling it out in order to fill the water reservoir or fill it with beans, so I'd probably keep it somewhere that is clear above. It will dominate a good portion of your countertop but it will look great in the process!
At first, I wasn't sure how to feel about the Luxe Cafe Pro. I went in convinced that I'd end up having to keep 2 coffee machines on my countertop which I wasn't thrilled about. One for the work week when I was in a hurry, and the other to enjoy a specialty espresso on the weekends at my leisure. While it undoubtedly makes great coffee and espresso drinks, I was concerned about the time to make a drink and how there was some manual interaction. What I found was that it actually took me less time because I could actually place the cup unattended without holding it, and the process of grinding beans, tamping, and securing the Portafilter didn't actually take much time at all. My wife agreed and now she's able to make her iced coffees the way she likes. So, out with the old, in with the Luxe Cafe Pro!

TL:DR - I was nervous about this at first, but it’s actually super easy and the coffee is pretty good too. However I have some concerns about longevity of the grinder, especially when the machine requests a really fine grind and the integrated tamper looks weak as well, and I’m assuming it’ll be the first point of failure in the future. I also have issues with how much water it wastes. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a super water conservationist or anything like that, but it forces me to refill the tank far sooner than it should. All in all though, I can live with those issues because I really do enjoy the coffee.
—-
First of all, the look of the device at first was really appealing to me. It has a techy look that fits my personality pretty well. However I kind of had issue with how much ‘invisible’ space it requires. You first think, man this thing is little, nice and compact, but then you realize you need space for the accessories compartment. Then you need space away from the back wall for the water tank. Then you need space to the left for the tamper. You also need space in front of it to store the ‘portafilter’ because the handle sticks out in front of it too. So it’s deceptively small, it actually requires more space than the unit has you believe.
I must give Ninja a huge nod, because I’m an idiot when it comes to coffee, I love it when I buy it, but HATE making it because it’s NEVER as good as where I buy it. This machine does a GREAT job making the coffee taste almost as good as where I go to buy my coffee. Seriously, I’m just so happy with the coffee. The Barista Assist technology behind this thing is seriously fantastic! From frothing the milk to making the proper cup of espresso, this thing does it well. Lattes, Americanos, and Machiatto’s are my go to drinks. But I found myself trying cappuccinos and surprisingly a lungo. I had to google what that was, but turns out I like lungos. Who knew?
Also another nod to Ninja was the ease of it all. I’m not a huge reader, so I dreaded looking at the manual, but to my pleasure, there’s a super easy to follow video available and that took all of the guesswork out of it. I did have to read the cleaning and maintenance sections, but at least the operation (the fun part) was watch and learn!
Now for my gripes. I dislike how much hidden space it takes. I ended up having to make more room for this thing than I originally thought I would because Ninja decided to put things on the side and in front of it, as well as the back. So take the water tank for example, it’s big, and goes from the right most side in the back, to about ¾ of the way to the left. Which means, I need to lift the tank, then move it to the right about ¼ of the length before shifting the tank diagonally to pull it out, and do this again with a full tank of water. It became such an issue for me I ended up rearranging the kitchen appliances. It’s by my fridge now and I still need to move it about 6-7 inches away from the fridge so I can properly tamp the grounds. My other gripe is how much water it wastes. I just said I dislike filling the water, why are you wasting water at every turn. I swear I’m emptying the waste bin way too often. From cleaning the frothing wand, to coffee grind wasting, it’s kind of a wasteful device.
My last gripe is the fear that it’ll break. I had some really dry beans and it had me go really fine to like 5 or something for the grind setting and it sounded like it was a struggle for the grinder. It didn’t feel good. I ended up buying some more oily beans and it had me go up to a grind setting of like 15 and it sounded better. Also the tamper kind of flexes and doesn’t give me a sense of security when tamping it. I ended up changing my ‘keep going until you can’t anymore’ recommendation from Ninja, to a “just do a nice and firm tamp without pushing too hard” style tamp. And sure it’s not as pretty, but it works. I have a lot of Ninja gear, and I do like them, but their blenders in particular give me grief, but their air fryers are going strong for me without any issues. So I’m really hoping this is another good long lasting product.
All that said though, I am VERY happy with the unit overall and the complaints and longevity worries are something I think I can live with. The day to day of this thing is fantastic and fulfills my desire for coffee at the comfort of my own home.

So far this coffee maker has been amazing. The many settings are easy to understand. The quick start guide is very helpful. Based on the size of the coffee you are making, the machine will suggest a certain amount of coffee and will auto-grind the beans and a manual tamping lever to pack the grounds. You can also froth your cream options.
The features exceed my coffee making abilities. But it is pretty cool that we can make hot coffee, expresso, cold brew, hot chocolate, hot water for tea, etc, all with just one machine. And...this machine looks pretty badass as well.
The coffee maker feels and operates like a professional grade machine.

Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro, a nice machine with a quirk.

This is one impressive machine on the counter. Large but not huge, a centerpiece for sure. It’s a little intimidating at first but once you understand the workflow it’s fairly easy to use. I say fairly easy because it has exhibited a slightly annoying quirk. When you place the portafilter in the grinder you might have to reselect what drink you want to make so even though you just made an 8oz classic coffee it might switch to a quad expresso. It doesn’t switch every time but I had to make it a habit to check it before tapping the start grind button. Once I got used to that, things have gone much smoother. Lol
That said, it does make a tasty drink! I had an automatic machine already which is completely hands off just press one button and it makes a drink but it uses the extraction method. I always thought it made the coffee a little more bitter. This drip machine confirmed it. Bean for bean, this machine makes a better tasting drink so even though it’s a little more work to use, I prefer it.
I’d recommend that you pick up the Ninja knock box with the machine, the grounds can be a little sticky in the portafilter. I found that if I’m only making one cup at a time I can just knock out most of the grounds and let the residue sit. By the time I’m ready for a second cup the remaining grounds have dried significantly and aren’t so sticky so they just wipe out with my finger or a paper towel.
We’ve made several hot and cold drinks since this machine arrived, they have all come out great unless there was user error involved. Expresso shots are wonderfully strong. I don’t drink expresso often but I do enjoy a cappuccino on the weekends.
I found the steam wand and milk jug with the automatic whisk to be super easy to use, definitely a highlight of the machine for me. Easy to use and easy to clean as well.
Speaking of cleaning, the machine comes apart very easy to empty the drip tray when needed. There is a handy pour spout on the back corner of the tray to dump the water. Watch the left front corner because there may be grounds if any fell out of the grinder. Tamper is easy to wipe off, just remove the portafilter and press down the handle and you can wipe it from underneath.
Another thing I appreciate about this machine is it’s ability to make many different sizes of coffee and it is tall enough to fit an 18oz go cup. My other machine maxes out at 8oz so you have to brew two cups and pour them into a go cup, this one can do it right in the cup. Definitely a plus!
I also appreciate that it comes with a 70oz water tank so I don’t have to refill it as often. It will also allow you to continue making a drink if it should run out of water during the brewing cycle. My other machine doesn’t do that, if it runs out of water it just stops and there’s no recovery. Same goes for the beans, it will ask you to add more beans and then continue.
One thing I did not see in the manual was whether or not you can use pre-ground coffees in this machine. The answer is yes you can, but since the machine isn’t measuring the dosage from the grinder you need to add your desired amount to the portafilter yourself. A little trial and error might be needed but it works. Try starting at 15 grams of coffee and see how it tastes? Handy if someone gifts you a bag of ground coffee to try.
There is a cup warming plate on top of the machine, it powers off when the machine is turned off.
The lid on the water tank is symmetrical so it can go on either direction, a nice design touch since you might have to try to put it on before your first cup in the morning!
One thing I wish it had were indentions or handles on the sides, it’s a heavy machine and it’s difficult to move it to clean underneath it. I didn’t want to lift it by the grinder since there’s a weight scale there and I didn’t want to damage it and I didn’t want to lift it by the drip tray either so it’s a challenge to get your fingers underneath.
There is a useful storage compartment on the right side to hold the accessories that aren’t in use. My OCD appreciates being able to keep everything together.
Another nice feature is that the bean hopper is removable to change the beans out. You twist the handle to unlock it and just lift up. There will be a fair amount of beans left it the grinder, it’s about enough to make another cup so if you replace the empty hopper you can press and hold the start grind button and run the grinder until it’s clear. Dump the coffee into a sealable container and you can use them later if you wish.

Replaced Two Coffe Makers and a Grinder for Me!
|
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
My wife did not like the fact that I had two coffee makers and a coffee grinder on our countertop. I can’t say I blame her but I mostly drink coffee so my Ninja Hot & Iced XL coffeemaker was a must, but I also like espresso so I had my fully automatic espresso machine - which also does coffee, but not as well. Enter my Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro! I’ll give you the bottom line right away, this machine has replaced all three machines. I gave it 5 stars but I really think it is a 4.5 star machine.
Value
I’ll start by mentioning the value of the Ninja Luxe. I know, value? At $750? But it is a value compared to other similar machines from other companies. As I mentioned, it replaced three machines because of the capabilities of this machine. That alone made it worth the price to me and my wife.
Versatility
The title states 4 in 1, which means this guy makes pretty much any coffee drink you can think up. You can make espresso, drip coffee, cold brew, dispense hot water for tea or hot cocoa, and froth milk for lattes or make your own cold foam!
Easy to Use
This machine may take a few minutes to figure out completely but once you are familiar with the buttons it is quite easy. So many conveniences packed into this machine! A couple that really stand out to me are the door that houses two of the portafilter cups and the built in tamper. It is so nice to have storage for the filter cups. I don’t have to keep them in a drawer somewhere and fish for them when I’m switching back and forth. The built in tamper is a similar convenience but goes a step further because it works well and makes the whole process cleaner. I hardly ever spill grounds now.
Performance
The coffee is good and getting better. There are many different settings you can use to dial it in and I am still working to find the settings that make it perfect for me. You can adjust the grind size with a wheel on the left side. The machine gives suggested grind size based on what you are making but you can set it to whatever you want. Then there are three different strengths you can use. Plus a choice between classic and rich. I am sure I will be able to dial it in but even now I’d rate it 8.5/10. The espresso is easily a 9.5/10. It is also very easy to make and Ninja took all the guesswork out of the brew process. The grind size and volume of grounds, as well as the pressure is all figured for you. It’s tough to mess it up!
Concerns
I have not had any failures or major issues but I do have a couple of small concerns that I will keep my eye on. The first is, one of the first times I went to adjust the grind size I was not able to turn the manual dial at all. I didn’t want to force anything and break it so I took the top part of the grinder off (it comes off very easily and conveniently) and moved some beans around. Once I replaced the top part of the grinder I was again able to freely turn the dial. I haven’t had that happen again so far. The other concern is really more of a gripe. The portafilter has to be turned much harder than I think it should. I’ve had a few different espresso machines and the portafilter always takes a little muscle to get into place but this one is the toughest. It takes a firm grip on the handle and the machine to get it in place.
Overall I am extremely pleased with the Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro so far. It looks fantastic, very much like a premium machine. It does not take up too much room on the counter - especially if it replaces multiple machines for you like it did for me. It is easy to use and makes great bean juice!

When it comes to choosing a coffee maker for espresso, it is not always possible to find a product that has all the necessary features to prepare coffee in its different variants. This Ninja Lux coffee maker has what is necessary to prepare coffee basically from scratch, without the need for previous experience.
In the box comes the coffee maker, cleaning accessories, a portafilter, single shot, double shot, quad shot filters, XL milk jug filters, and some documentation.
The versatility of the coffee maker impresses me, the fact that it includes a tamper in the same machine, a scale to weigh the coffee, and that it can grind the beans, makes this coffee maker a great option. It also has an automatic system for milk frothing, which ensures that the milk is at a precise point for preparing cappuccinos, lattes for example.
This Ninja coffee maker has a separate hot water system, as well as different ways to prepare espresso drinks, from one shot to four shots. And if a longer or shorter coffee is required, it can be prepared in Lungo or Ristretto style. Thanks to the different bean grind settings, it is possible to prepare more or less concentrated beverages depending on the fineness of the grind and the amount of water and time chosen. Undoubtedly for coffee lovers, it is a very complete coffee maker.
The design of the Ninja Lux coffee maker is very elegant, compact and has space to store the cleaning kit. The accessories are made of metal and resistant plastic, with a very detailed finish that will be appreciated at the moment of use. The coffee maker does not take up much space so it can be part of the various elements of the kitchen for everyday use.
To prepare an espresso coffee and its different variants, cappuccino, latte, flat and white, American, etc. It is recommended to measure well and balance the amount of coffee, time, and water used, that is to say, the ratio that allows you to get favorable results. Although it does depend on the taste of each person, following some steps and using the recommended measures can make the experience of preparing and drinking an espresso very pleasant. It will depend on each individual what type of coffee is acquired, however, the type of drying and roasting of the beans, among other things, is what will make the difference in the experience of drinking espresso coffee or its different variants.
This Ninja coffee maker is a very complete product, it has an elegant and functional design. It has an integrated tamper, scale, coffee grinder, milk frother, cleaning kit storage, and it is easy to use, cleaning, and does not use much space in the kitchen. I can say that its value for money is very balanced considering the type of features it has, the price in the market of other espresso coffee makers, and the amount of possible configurations for different types of espresso drinks. Being a product that delivers what it promises and is reasonably priced, I can highly recommend it, for me it has been a very pleasant experience without a doubt.

One star, and I hope it echoes in the design team's dreams. First unit? Dented. Manufacturer says “not normal.” I use it, fall in love—then my friend wonders if it got slapped by a spatula. Returned it (Best Buy, you're saints). I get the same model, untouched this time, and guess what? Same dimples, still channeling golf ball energy. I didn’t sign up for a luxury appliance with a lunar surface. If this is intentional design, someone owes me an explanation—and possibly a helmet.

Making Coffe it's my new favorite thing!
I have been using few other Coffe Makers in the past couple of years and i did enjoyed them learned few things but was still missing something to get good at it.
Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro knocked it out of the park with the Design and the way the machine was taught thru. They didn't left anything out.
It really does add to the looks of the kitchen with the right amount of chrome and good quality materials this Coffe maker it's for sure a conversation starter.
I have been making coffe to all of my guest in the past 2 weeks and they all loved it as much as i did.
So putting it together is very straight forward, just scan the QR code and in about 5 minutes you'll be all set.
The Grinder will adjust after the first few trial shots and then slightly just follow the prompts it will tell you where you should have it set based on the previous pours. And i believe that makes it so much more special that you don't need to guess and i promise you'll get nice creamy espresso shots all the time!
The built in tamper helps speed up the process, mess free by the way. Now just brew it and create your favorite drink or just have it like that.
The Frother is the coolest one i used so far and boy it works so well and keeps it all under control. You can't go wrong! It has both options for dairy or dairy free and the cup is so large it will accommodate pretty much any drink you are about to make.
I can go on and on but i'll try to keep it short and i promise just give it a try, and if you are new to making Coffe you will Love it or if you already have been using something else you will apreciate the quality and ease of use of the Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro!

Honestly, I don’t know where to begin because this all-in-one Ninja Luxe Pro Café Pro machine truly sets a new standard for perfection and peace of mind.
As a long-time loyal customer of Ninja products, my expectations are always high when I invest in any products made by Ninja, but this machine impressed me a lot. It might just be the most impressive appliance Ninja has ever made. From the moment I unboxed it, it was clear that Ninja has paid attention to every detail with intention and precision.
The machine has a sleek, modern design that blends seamlessly with the rest of Ninja’s lineup. The Ninja’s signature design language is calling it on this machine as well, which is great for having a streamlined look in the kitchen. Everything inside the box was securely packaged, and I highly recommend reading the user manual thoroughly; it provides step-by-step guidance for setup and maintenance, which is extremely helpful.
The box included three coffee basket sizes, a portafilter, a milk pitcher, a complete cleaning kit, and even water hardness test strips. After removing the protective tapes, washing the reservoir, and filling it with water, I powered the machine. The setup process began instantly. On the left side of the dashboard, a digital display shows the water hardness level that needed to be selected based on each area water hardness level. This is crucial step to help maintain the machine’s longevity and prevent limescale buildup. I followed the manual, tested the water, set the level, and ran the initial rinse cycle, which took around 10 minutes. After that, the machine was ready to go.
I Decided to start with making my cappuccino cup. After loading roasted beans into the hopper and locking the portafilter into place, the built-in grinder did the job. It automatically adjusts the grind size based on the selected brew, and the integrated scale ensures just the right amount of coffee is ground. Tamping is clean and mess-free. You can also customize both temperature and brew strength, with three levels available for each.
While the coffee brewed, I filled the milk pitcher and activated the steam wand. As soon as it was lowered into the milk, options for milk type and frothing level lit up. The wand heats quickly, and one of my favorite touches is the LED light that illuminates the frothing area. Small but very cool feature. After frothing, the wand automatically purges steam when directed toward a built-in hole on the base, preventing residue buildup. Great feature!
Beyond coffee, the machine also dispenses hot water for tea or instant Nescafé. What truly stands out is its intelligence “Barista assist” and everything from frothing options to pitcher size and the lit LED front panel. Controls are intuitive, and easy to use. one downside though, it’s that the water reservoir is a bit small considering how many functions this machine can do. But that’s a minor inconvenience compared to everything it offers.
In short, this machine is great. It's ideal for those who value perfection, quality, and design, and functionality. It’s not like any other coffee machines, this was built for peace of mind, and I highly recommend it.

Superb Machine For Any Coffee Drinker

Overall, the ninja Luxe Café pro series 4 in 1 one machine is a superb coffee and froth machine. It is has 13 espresso styles 4 coffee styles 7drink sizes and 5 froth presets. It also comes with a tamp lever, which is extremely beneficial.
The set up was super simple having to plug the machine in and do a water hardness test. The water hardness test will then tell you which setting to dial-in on to create your first pass-through. After a couple brews to calibrate you’re ready to go.
The design is sturdy and well-made, with a nice heft to make you feel like the machine itself as well made, and professional, which it is. There is also a hot water button which you could use for tea and that itself is a nice touch because I also like to enjoy green tea from time to time.
Overall, I do not see myself needing any other machine for the foreseeable future as this serves my needs and the needs of those who come over to enjoy a nice cup of espresso or hot coffee whenever we desire. Well executed, Ninja!

Amazing Machine for All Coffee Lovers!

The Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro is an amazing tool for all coffee drinkers from beginners to enthusiasts.
I have always been eager to try out an actual espresso machine, but the science and the
intricacies behind pulling the perfect shot of espresso, and all the ways it could go wrong,
intimidated me. The Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro does a great job of simplifying all of the necessary
steps to make a perfect beverage.
The initial unboxing of the machine was super simple and stress free. The machine pulled out of
the box with no hassle and was essentially entirely assembled. Everything on the machine was
in place and where it should be. Then after seeing the machine, one of the first things you notice
is the scannable QR code, which was one of the most innovative features of this entire
experience. The video that the code pulled up did a fabulous job of explaining the machine and
all of its features and how to properly utilize them.
Upon first glance, the machine has a sleek look. The stainless steel finish with black accents
compliments any style of kitchen well. On top of the sleek finish, the machine has rather slim
dimensions for all that it encapsulates. The dimensions are comparable to similar espresso
machines, but the Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro includes more.
When unboxing the machine, there are many stickers explaining what each feature is. The
stickers dictated what buttons were for which features, and where the integrated storage for
additional parts were. Initially, stickers on a piece of nice stainless steel machinery may seem
like a pain to remove, but they came off with no trouble. The stickers were also an added bonus
of the machine and helped with the initial use.
The quick start guide did a perfect job of explaining in detail the proper steps to follow to
successfully brew the best beverage possible. It perfectly explained what each tool was, and in
simple terms so that users of all experiences could operate the machine. One of the features
that I found to be especially useful was the integrated tamper. In other espresso machines, the
tamper is a separate part, and requires a lot more skill. In my previous, although limited,
experience, traditional standstill tamper is extremely technique dependent. There are many
variables, like the pressure applied to the tampering, that can lead to very inconsistent shots
being pulled. The integrated tamper of the Ninja luxe cafe was a luxury. I thought that displaying
the current and recommended grind size in a visible spot where it was easy to adjust, was an
especially nice touch. The grind size of both coffee and espresso beans is detrimental in
creating the perfect brew. The recommended size changing with each different beverage
selections shows the thought and detail that went into the creation of this machine. When
removing the portafilter from the grinding cradle and inserting it into the group head, I found that
the pressure required to twist the handle and align the orange dots moved the base of the
machine. I could see that potentially adidings some sort of suction feature to the bottom could
help eliminate this subtle movement.
Moving on in the process of brewing your beverage, I found that all of the buttons, dials, and
labels were very effective. There was no confusion whatsoever. When pressing “start brew”, the
machine beeps and begins brewing for a second or two, before a momentary pause. The first
few times I utilized the machine, I thought that there was some user error causing the lag in the
brewing, which was initially very confusing. The bars on the screen showing where in the
brewing process the machine currently was was very helpful as well. I found that the espresso
shot brewed perfectly after correctly following all of the steps.
There was an instance where I needed to switch the size of the basket after brewing a shot of
espresso to brew some coffee. I experienced some struggle trying to remove the basket from
the portafilter and found that the black tabs were hard to tug at. I also found that the stainless
steel basket was very hot, which added to the struggle of trying to remove it. This could be an
issue for someone who needs to switch basket sizes to make different beverages back to back.
In regards to the frothing aspect of the machine, I loved and appreciated all of the available
options. I like how there was the ability to select the thickness of the froth, along with the
temperature. I personally have found that in my experience frothing milks, the plant based milks
froth entirely differently than dairy itself. Having the ability to select which type of milk will be
getting frothed was much appreciated and definitely added greatly to the user experience. I did
experience an issue one time when trying to create a cold froth. I turned the dial to the
appropriate setting but was met with a loud screeching noise coming from the frother and after
the fothing stopped, I noticed the milk was in the same consistency, it did not froth. I did ensure
that there was an adequate amount of milk, so I am unsure as to what the issue behind that
was. Other than that one mishap, I have not had any other issues with the frother. It is especially
useful that the frothing wand purges itself. Not only does it purge itself, but the machine queues
you how and when to do so. I have had other espresso machines in the past where purging the
frother was a lot of additional work and time.
An underrated feature, which I noticed was particularly helpful, was the size of both the bean
hopper and the water reservoir. They were both an adequate size which got rid of the need to
constantly be refilling both of them. I did find that when switching between coffee and espresso
beans for different beverages, it was a little bit of a pain. Maybe if there was a separate area to
store both of the beans, that would be an appreciated feature. Another feature I much
appreciated was the included storage on the right side of the machine for the various basket
attachments. These little pieces could be very easy to lose in a busy kitchen, so I thought this
was a fabulous touch.
Overall, I don't have any complaints about this machine. It was very easy to operate, not
intimidating in the slightest, detailed in instructions, and visually appealing as well. I have tried
all of the beverage and frother settings, and have loved and enjoyed all of them.

The Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro: One Machine Brews It All

I've spent the last week living with the Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro Series 4-in-1 espresso machine. It promises to handle everything from authentic espresso shots, drip coffee, cold brew, and adds hot water dispenser. As a coffee enthusiast, I was excited but curious to see if it could handle all of this. After thorough use of the new ES701, I can tell you that it lives up to its ambition
*Design and Build*
Right out of the box, the Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro looks like a premium appliance. The body is mostly stainless steel with black accents. It looks like it could fit right in at a coffee shop. Make sure you have space because the dimensions are roughly 13 x 12.5 x 14.5" tall. It also weighs about 25 pounds. It will fit under your kitchen cabinet but I would recommend finding space on a kitchen island or the end of the counter where you have breathing space above it. Every component feels sturdy and well engineered.
*Control Panel*
There's a digital control panel with clearly labeled buttons and knobs for each function. The center knob helps you select drink sizes, and there are physical buttons for options like brew style and froth. All of the buttons and knobs provide good feedback when pushing or turning. All of the components feel solid and everything locks firmly into place as needed. On the left side there's a grind size dial for the built in grinder. On the right side, the machine has storage compartments for filter baskets, a cleaning brush, and a filter for cleaning. On the other side you will find the tamper and closing funnel. Ninja did a great job of both engineering and design. The ES701 has a built in tamper. After grinding, you pull a lever to tamp the grounds which means no mess and no extra parts to fumble around with. I felt like it compressed the pucks with just the right force every time. The steam wand is also easy to clean with an simple wipe from a washcloth or paper towel.
*Features*
Ninja has all the features you need without feeling too cluttered. There's a built-in conical burr grinder on the left side. Make sure you twist the dial to release the beans or you will get an install reminder. The right side has storage. The built-in tamper is a major upgrade. After you grind the beans you simply pull a lever to tamp the grounds, that's it. There's a top loading bean hopper for whole beans that also has a UV protected lid to keep the beans fresh. You can easily fit a few days worth of beans. The water reservoir is large too, holding 70 ounces.
*Performance*
How well does this machine make coffee? This is what matters most. I put the Ninja ES701 through its paces every day with different drinks and here are the results:
Espresso Quality - This machine can absolutely make really good espresso shots. After the first couple of shots where the machine dialed in, I was consistently getting thick, rich espresso. The temperature was just right. Hot and smelled great right from the start. The Ninja heats up quickly and temperature was consistent. You can't manually dial in every parameter but the Ninja did a great job on auto. The quad shot feature was great for lattes and mixing. The Americano function worked great, there was no bitterness whatsoever.
Drip Coffee - This was surprisingly good. I brewed cups in both classic and rich settings. Classic was a clean medium strength coffee and rich was bolder and used a little more coffee. The coffee was excellent from 8 to 18 ounces, not watery at all. The iced coffee was strong, and tasted great with no sign of being diluted. This Ninja is impressive.
Cold brew - I made cold brew in about 10 minutes. The flavor was smooth, sweet, strong, and easy on the stomach.
Froth - I used whole milk and it produced an exceptional micro foam that I used in Cappuccinos, Lattes, and my drip coffee. I didn't feel like it performed as well with alternative milks but that's more to do with the type of milk being used. The wand was really easy to clean with a purge and gently wipe with a towel or paper towel.
There are just a ton of drinks that you can make with the Ninja Luxe Pro ES701: Espressos, Americanos, Drip Coffee, Iced Coffee, Cold Brew, Cappuccinos, Lattes, Mochas, Macchiatos, and Flat whites. It will save you many trips to the coffee shops.
*Cleaning*
The Portafilter and baskets were easy to rinse and the cleaning brush can get any stubborn stuck grounds. The steam wand takes a simple wipe and the milk jug can be quickly rinsed. The drip tray has an indicator that will tell you when it's full. All the surfaces are easy to wipe down. Overall the Ninja can be cleaned quickly with minimal mess.
*Closing Thoughts*
This machine is great for either a beginner or a pro. Beginner's will benefit from the intuitive controls, ease of use, and the simplicity of making a variety of drinks. Pros will benefit from the performance and speed, replacing many of the manual steps with automatic functions. It will also free up counter space if you are using multiple machines to produce drinks the Ninja can produce with one.
*Pros*
* Replace multiple machines with espresso, drip coffee, cold brew, and hot water for tea or Americano
* Makes great espresso shots and brew coffee, cold brew and iced coffee taste like cafe quality
* Easy to use with great guides and videos
* Integrated grinder and tamper
* No mess with the tamper
* Automatic milk frother
* Premium build quality
* Controls are well designed and thoughtful
*Suggestions/Needs Improvement*
* Large Footprint
* Frother not as good with plant based milk
* Placement of water tank can be awkward if placed under a cabinet
I would absolutely recommend the Ninja Luxe Cafe Pro Series ES701. This machine will elevate your coffee experience. It does deliver on its promise of cafe quality drinks with little effort. It's a no brainer for anyone who enjoys a variety of coffee drinks and doesn't want to compromise quality. It will save you trips to the coffee shop and the recipe book offers plenty of ideas and variety. It's turned my kitchen into my own little cafe and I'm really happy with the results. My family all has their favorites and I'm finally able to offer them what they want all from the comfort of my kitchen. Highly Recommended!
