I have used it on salads as well and it works exceptionally well for chopping up ice berg lettuce.

Great blender/mixer

It also handles some items that I would have used my Cuisinart for, so that is nice to have an all over multiple tools in one purchase

Great chopper for price

Good Price! Great Product!

This is easier to clean than the standard blenders (just be careful not to cut your fingers by always grabbing the shafts!). So far so good. It blends better smoothies than my old Oyster blender.
