Works like a charm, but its very loud. Putting a towel under it while its being used, helps to reduce the sound it makes.

The blender is very good for mixed drinks, smoothies, etc. The food processor part is less impressive - it doesn't have anything that you can feed food into while it's on, and no grater attachment or anything. The book gives instructions on how to chop some things for desired consistency, but even following those instructions doesn't work well or evenly - you end up with a mix of total mush and not quite chopped enough. So the "kitchen system" is top notch for one product (the blender) and very lackluster for the other (the processor). The safety features are good if you're trying to teach a small child to use these things, however. It stops immediately if the lid opens. My toddler is very excited he gets to 'help' so much without us worrying (obviously, we have to keep him from the blade, but messes and other mishaps are minimal).

This thing works like a champ. We use it for dough making and frozen drinks. So much better than any cheaper type I have used. I love it. The blades are super sharp so be careful.

i bought this after my daughter saw it on tv. i waited until i was sure that it was a good price. we use it all the time. smoothies are very quick. i can blend almost anything in it. and the indidviual containers are great for making on the go drinks. it is easy to put together and also to clean.

THIS is phenomenal! It does SO many things! We make smoothies, mix cookie dough, bread dough and do much more! It is easy to use and clean up! It replaced SEVERAL small appliances and gadgets! One of my favorite things is that it turns ice to powder in seconds effortlessly! I can’t say enough about this product!

I have only used the blender so far (not the food processor). It is so powerful and makes great drinks - smoothies and milk shakes so far. It is big, but easy to clean. I got a good brush to use to clean the VERY SHARP blades. I hope the book of recipes for this blender is available soon, so I can use it more.

it is powerful, versatile and it works! The blades are sharp and you need to be careful when removing to wash, but it really is a nice blender. Tomato's, salsa's, shakes in their own containers, the best - and last blender I will ever buy!

It is rather loud and a little tall for my cabinets but overall it is super great. It blends like a professional machine at McDonalds or Jack. Take no time to clean and it very sturdy. I've used the attached to make pesto and that worked great too. I would rate this item a 9 out of 10.

I picked this up on Black Friday for $100. Considering the price and quality it has performed good so far. I have not tried the food processor yet. It is a bit on the loud side, as other reviewers have noted, but it is a blender and should be expected to some degree. Also, as others have pointed out, the blades are EXTREMELY sharp so please use caution when cleaning.

So far, I love it, very powerful!! Our crushed ice function does not work on our freezer. That’s the main reason I chose this 1500 watt blender. I knew it would have to work harder with full size ice cubes. It blends up my smoothies perfectly. I have learned to mix up my dry powder ingredients with a little liquid first before adding, otherwise the powder sticks to the sides. I haven’t used the dough mixing or food processor attachment yet, but I will try it for pizza dough. The 16 oz Ninja cups are good for smoothies to go if you are in a hurry. I found I can’t fit much into the cups, but I assume it’s cause I don’t have crushed ice. Highly recommend this blender!!

Be it our son making a smoothy or me making hummus this kitchen tool is a great addition to our kitchen. Today I blended celery, garlic and lime juice to spread on toast for a holiday party. The other day I made homemade tomato soup. I haven't tried the dough blade yet or crushing ice for margaritas but I am sure I will soon.

I love everything about the Ninja for for price. The single serving cups are perfect for a blend and go breakfast. The machine is a little a little louder than I expected (vs. our old blender) but gets the job done. We use it mainly for green/veggie blended drinks and mixed veggies. Have used the food processor attachment to blend and process various sauces and salsas easily.

Cons: to get a really smooth smoothie you have to use the individual cartons. Pros: Other than the con above, the blade design chops great no matter how full you have the container. Works on everything! We burned up our VitaMix with chia seeds but not the Ninja! We are vegan and use it a lot and it has not let us down, unlike our VitaMix! Love the way the blades come out for easy cleaning! DO NOT TOUCH THEM! They are super sharp so we learned quickly to keep clear of the blades when cleaning or empting.

Love this blender set. I can make thick smoothies, protein shakes, and açaí bowls that are near perfect to something I can buy. This has become an essential for summer for making healthy snacks and margaritas. We also use the blade-less spinner for baking. It speeds up the process by so much.

Making smoothies is quick and easy. Everything I put in there gets blended smooth. I also love how it can be used for a lot of different things. It's very versatile. The only thing that's not so great is how loud it is. It sounds like a plane getting to take flight in my kitchen. I will deal with that sound though-the positives far outweigh that small issue.

There is nothing most reliable to me than a Ninja product, and this one does not disappoint! I make all the food for my grandson, and have been using a ninja small blender that my sons gave me about 10 years ago and still working! But I felt I needed something bigger and versatile. I did my research and kept coming back to this one and finally purchased it. I cannot say enough about it. Blades are super strong, and ir even has blades to make dough! It has a blender pitcher, a dough or ice cream processor, and 2 small to-go cups. It has made my life so much easier! Highly recommended it!
