This knife set looks very modern and visually pleasing. Looks great on our kitchen counter top and compliments our kitchen appliances. It comes with 10 knives, 1 scissors, and the block which makes up this 12 piece set. For our family it comes with the perfect amount of knives. If you need more looks like Ninja does sell a larger set. All of the knives come out of the box super sharp so be careful. A lot sharper than any set I've ever owned. They feel really good in hand. Very solid and premium so kudos to Ninja for that. The scissors comes apart for easy cleaning too. Note the knives are not dishwasher safe but thats expected with any premium steel bladed knife. If you compare the steak knives to each other you notice they are slightly inconsistent on how they are made which causes them to sit a little out of alignment when in the block. Not a huge issue but thought I should mention it. I think the only real con I've found with the set is not the knives but the block the knives sit in. Its made of Stainless Steel and plastic which looks nice but its top heavy when the knives are inserted. Also some of the slots are sideways and are a bit too big for the knives so they fit loosely. Although the knife sharpener is built in which is a nice added touch. It makes sharpening knives so easy anyone can do it and you don't need any extra tools. Overtime this should keep the blades razor sharp. Overall I really like this set. I use it daily. With quality of the knives and the included sharpener I expect this set should last me a long time.

Although I haven't used the sharpener yet the knives are of superior quality! I've purchased a lot of different knife sets and this by far is the best and worth the money. It also looks pretty sleek in the kitchen.

Returned. Not worth the $200! Seemed excessive for the price and value.

The Ninja Foodi NeverDull Premium Knife System has enabled me to slice, dice and cut things in the kitchen like a professional; now I just need to learn how to cook like one, lol. I’ve been using these knives for a couple days now and I am truly impressed with how sharpe they are. I have another set of knives that I have been using for the past couple years and noticed that they were somewhat dull, but they still got the job done. But now I see that those old knives weren’t actually getting the job done well, as they were cutting the best that they could. However, in just one cutting, I saw the difference between middle of the pack knives and a premium set of knives. These knives are so shape that I am writing this review with a band-aid on my finger. Despite reading about how sharpe these knives are and that I should be extremely careful, I still somehow accidentally cut my finger while I was cutting a hamburger in half. I was so impressed with the ease it took to cut the burger that I wasn’t paying attention to my finger being in the way of the knife. The knives felt great in my hand and was balanced in weight and that was a new experience for me. I can truly see and feel the technology that went into making these knives. The Ninja knives arrived welled package. There’s a quick start guide and manual right on top as soon as you open the box. The knives come sharpe, right out of the box. You can simple hand wash them, dry them and they are ready to use. You won’t have to think bout sharpening these knives for a couple weeks or longer, depending on how often you use them. The Ninja Foodi NeverDull Premium Knife System is guaranteed to stay sharpe for ten years and that’s what steered me to selecting this set, but I didn’t consider all the other benefits as well. The Ninja Foodi knives have made my time in the kitchen so much more effective. They are easy to sharpen and clean. They are conveniently stored in the provided block that have suctions underneath to keep the block in place when sharpening the knives. I have never been into the mood to sharpen dull knives because I was always grew bored of watching my dad sharpen our knives using a stone. The effort he put into it wasn’t something I was willing to put myself through. I was concerned about the ease Ninja claimed it would be to sharpen these knives. But my concern was unfounded as this sharpening system is designed to get the job done quickly and easily. Overall, I am extremely impressed and pleased with these knives and I look forward to many years of usage. I highly recommend these knives to everyone that is in the market for a set of knives that will work at the highest level, every time.

Product is still lost in transit. I’ve chatted twice with support on the matter and each time I was told I’d get a follow up email on the matter. In neither case have I received any update. Can I just credit back?

After couple days I returned these item. Very poor quality, there were lots of rust on.

Over the years I've bought plenty of sets of knives, always opting to get some cheap or discounted brands. Now I know what I've been doing wrong, and why I've had to keep replacing those sets of knives. I could have saved myself a ton of time and money and bought a set like this one, which is definitely worth the higher price. First off, just the look of the knife block is quite elegant and clean; it looks great on my granite kitchen countertop and among the stainless steel appliances. It comes with everything you would ever need in the kitchen, and then some--a chef, santoku, utility and paring knife, along with a set of 6 steak knives and a pair of shears. My husband and I both tried out all the knives and the shears and they feel solid, with just the right amount of heft and they are plenty sharp indeed. They not only look and feel good, they really do a great job. And you can tell they are the best quality--the steel of all the blades run from end to end, from the tip and through to the end of the handle. I really like that it comes with a sharpener built into the knife block, too; I cannot attest to the quality of the sharpener though, since the instructions state that the knives come sharpened and not to sharpen them immediately. But overall, I would highly recommend this knife set for its premium look, feel, and quality.

Very cool to have the Sharpening feature...That said...The sharpener only works for the sets knives....Not for other home sharpening needs....

Newly opened and out of the box these knives are better than expected. I like that the tang goes all the way through the handle and the balance on the knives is outstanding. Being new I have not yet used the sharpener on the side but I will definitely be using it on some of my older/duller knives to see if there is an improvement in performance. As, what I would consider, an entry level knife set, I expect these to last a while (the box guarantees sharpness for 10 years). And while my steaks can typically be cut with a butter knife, its nice to have a set of steak knives again. I haven't had one for years but they're always useful to have around. Based on the limited use I've given them thus far, I would definitely recommend these if you're looking for an entry level knife set.

Excellent knife set with strong, comfortable feel. We got these knives to replace an old set of knives from our wedding that were wearing out. The solid construction and heavy feel of these knives really feels nice in your hands and it's obvious at first cut that these are well made and durable for the long haul. Silver blades with black handles are of course separate pieces but they have a seamless edge and smooth contour making cleaning a breeze. Cutting edges are super sharp right out of the box and maintain that sharpness for as long as you take care of them. We really love the built in sharpener to keep those razor edges cutting smooth. It is very simple to use and effortless at keeping all the blades as sharp as their first cut. We had tried a few cheaper brands to save money thinking we would replace them more frequently but that was a mistake. This system is sharp and stays sharp. Personal preference thing but I really love the smooth steak knives for a clean cut rather than the serrated type that just sort of tear through your meats. Also personal preference but the steel colored block makes for a clean and elegant look on the kitchen counter. The block is also equipped with rubber suction feet to keep everything in place while sharpening or if things get wild in the kitchen.
