The blender itself is great! The cups are not dishwasher safe I found out the hard way!

The first time I used this unit it was to create some fruit smoothies. I used frozen strawberries and bananas (frozen ones seem to work better). The blender base is compact and powerful. The blending process went smoothly and produced awesome drinks. The unit comes with three plastic 20oz. cups with two lids with a spot and one that is just a plain lid. The motor is pretty powerful at 900 watts and worked well, with no problems crushing ice and frozen fruits. I also found the 20-recipe book pretty handy and found many more recipes online. Overall, this personal blender is perfect for creating drinks for you and your significant other (my wife loved it) or just for creating and storing a few drinks in the refrigerator for yourself. This isn’t my first Ninja product and it certainly won’t be the last. The design team at Ninja knows how to create products that fulfill the needs of one person, or large families. This blender was created for single serve quickness. If you ever find yourself running late and you forgot to make your smoothie concoction, you can quickly pour in some liquid and toss in a few of your favorite foods to get a smoothie in minutes. You can even do it quicker if you prep your ingredients the night before. Just attach one of the three included 20 ounce cups to the blender bottom after filling and place it in the fridge. Next morning all you have to do is push it onto the base for about 15 seconds and you’re out the door. In a fast paced world these days, this can come in handy for a lot of people. The cups also come with tops that have flip lids so you can take them in the car when you are on the go. The base of the cups will most likely fit into any car cup holder with ease. There is also one lid included that is closed top in case you want to store leftover smoothie, or your prepped ingredients to pulverize the next day. The base is quick and efficient, but is a tad loud. There are no buttons on the base at all, so you have to push down on the top of the cup to keep the motor running. That said, the blades are fast and efficient at mixing, granted you have the correct amount of liquid. If you want to make smoothie bowls, or thicker drinks, you may want to consider a different Ninja Nutri Blender. They have another model that includes a smoothie bowl cup to help with the thicker concoctions. For me, this blender works exactly as intended. My current favorite smoothie is Oat Milk, with flax and hemp seeds, protein powder, frozen bananas, peanut butter, and occasionally berries. The package also includes a smoothie recipe booklet to give you some inspiration. There are some nice recipes included. As a bonus, all parts except the base are dishwasher safe, so cleanup is a breeze. In conclusion, if you want an extremely easy to use product and you love smoothies, I can highly recommend the Ninja Nutri Blender Plus.

Ninja has nailed it with their new personal blender! The design and operation is dead simple, they provide you with three large, sturdy, dishwasher-safe tumblers with lids and the motorized base is compact and extremely powerful. We are having a blast experimenting with all kinds of creative smoothies and shakes and even saving money by incorporating some overly-ripe fruits and veggies into delicious, nutritious drinks. Its also super simple to throw something together that you can take with you when you don't have time to prepare a full meal. Can't recommend this product enough!
