This is really something else. I dont have tons of experience with blenders necessarily, having only ever had cheaper varieties, but this thing is kind of amazing. The included cups that can be used to drink out of as well as blend into are pretty cool. Makes cleanup very easy when finished, no additional dishes. I'ven't really determined what I'll use the bowl for yet, though I've read all sorts of recipes about making cookiedough and stuff in a blender, so I'll have to give that a shot. It's super powerful, nothing is left in chunks or anything. The iQ features really lend themselves to doing exactly what you would expect them to. Really a one-and-done kind of thing. Made some amazing mango smoothies in this and looking forward to doing it again. If you're in the market for a blender that's more than your average budget brand, I wouldn't hesitate to grab this one.

This machine is great. It's a little larger than I imagined but no issue and its not ugly, I thought it would be smaller but it's about the size of a regular blender. This thing is a beast when it comes to making smoothies. It really does blend everything down. The bowl works great too. We made a few snacks and the salmon patty recipe today. It really does a good job at chopping and infusing. Overall this is a great buy. If you're used to $50 blenders and food processors try this. You'd be surprised at how much of a difference a change in diet can make to the way you feel and your overall health.

I wanted to make smoothies and bought a cheap blender which could hardly crush the ice . This blender crushed frozen strawberries with zero effort. It has a nice boost Auto Iq feature which slowly pulses to get the right amount of blending . There are many features on the blender which I haven't tried yet but I'll be excited to use. It's like 2 blenders in one & comes with an 88 oz. pitcher & 2 personal take along cups , 18 & 24 oz. with pop up lids . It has suction cups on the bottom so it doesn't move while in use & comes apart easily for cleaning. I love the clock countdown too & the pitcher seems like a durable bpa free plastic. A small 20 recipe guide is included. This is not your grandmas blender... I love it & cant wait to try more features & recipes.

I've been using my Ninja Blender for just about 2 weeks now and have fallen in love! I never used to be much of a smoothie drinker but wanted to start since I know how beneficial they can be to your health. I now use my blender on a daily basis, using it every morning to make a healthy protein smoothie that I take to work with me using the included cups. I will also sometimes make a drink in the evening if I don't have time to cook dinner and don't want to get fast food. There are just so many different drinks you can make that you will never get bored. Included with this kit is a recipe book that I've found to be invaluable. Not to mention the bowl that comes with this package which is great for making salsa, pesto, various sauces, and many other things. Everything blends so well, regardless of what you are making whether it be crushed ice for your drink or basil leaves for pasta, the Auto-IQ feature allows you to choose the appropriate setting and the Ninja does all the work. I've no fears about this breaking down on me as everything included appears to be constructed from quality materials and feels sturdy and built to last. I highly recommend this kit to anyone who is looking to make some dietary changes as it really makes it easy to eat healthy. I would also recommend this to pretty much anyone who cooks their own meals or wants to start cooking as using the bowl can be very helpful when preparing many different types of dishes. And finally, if you don't cook and you don't want an easy way to get more nutrients into your body, don't forget about all the great mixed drinks you can make while entertaining guests, making frozen cocktails and other mixed drinks are a breeze!

I was in the market to replace my old Black and Decker blender. It was at last 6 years old and having difficulty making a decent smoothie. When I saw the Ninja blender with Auto-iq I knew it would be a great replacement. My primary use is for smoothies and it does a great job of breaking down the ice into a perfect consistency. I especially like the Auto-iq where you select what type of blend you want and then press Auto-iq and the blender will pulse and pause automatically so that the contents can settle before automatically restarting. The count down digital display will tell you at a glance how much time is left for your blend. The Ninja comes with the standard pitcher like a normal blender but it also has 3 smoothie cups (1 medium sized and 2 large) and 3 screw on caps with flip open drinking spouts. I especially like the smoothie glasses so I'm not having to clean the big pitcher every time. And they are perfect size for on the go. The only small knock I can give it's that it's tall and doesn't fit under my cupboard with the pitcher attached. It just means I'll have to find another permenant spot for it or move it out from under the cupboard whenever I want to use it. This is only a very slight inconvenience. I can't wait to explore the other features of the Ninja but for what I use blenders for it's perfect.

This unbiased review was provided in exchange for receiving the product to test out. In our case, we actually received two boxes of product -- one for the bowl, and the other with a main attachment of an 88oz blender container. Presumably this is what Ninja means by duo, which ends up giving you more than six separate attachments and two different bases for mixing. We believe this product is well worth the price tag associated. In making both food and smoothies with both bases, the Ninja makes short order of pretty much anything you throw at it. Pre-programmed buttons allow for excellent timing of blending ingredients with plenty of ability to customize -- either making mixing processes longer or shorter, depending on the consistency you prefer. Two challenges with this device: 1. With all of the attachments available, you'll be hard-pressed to find space on our countertop for everything to sit! At least both bases have exceptionally good suction cups that fasten each securely to any solid surface. 2. Don't let size fool you. They may say that the bowl serves four people, but that's also understanding the equivalent of what an 8oz glass of drink really means. For most recipes, you'll likely have to up the serving sizes, because these recommendations wouldn't be enough for most. This was our first blender set. Compared to much cheaper ones we've used over the years, this is the set we wished someone would have given us as a wedding showing gift!

The Nutri Ninja Duo- The ninja comes with the base, pro extractor blade, 3 spout lids, 2- 24 oz cups, 1- 32 oz cup, a bowl, quad blade and dough blade, instruction manual and a recipe book. The lids and containers are BPA free. The blades, containers, and lids are dishwasher safe. The base has a suction bottom to keep the base from moving around while it's running. There a lot of different programs and options to use depending on what you're trying to make. The Nutri Ninja Duo will make smoothies, blended coffee drinks, dips and sauces, salsas and even dough. My kids and I love this ninja to blend up all kinds of smoothies, shakes and coffee drinks. It's easy to fill the cup with your ingredients, screw on the top/blade and lock it into the base. I've had a little bit of difficulty getting the right option selected. While I'm trying to change what I want it sometimes starts blending when I don't want it to yet. Once it's turned on, it's extremely loud! I don't care for the noise, but I'm guessing any blender is loud and a strong motor means a lot of noise. It cuts through and blends the ice with no problem at all, unlike previous blenders I've owned. The drinks are nice and smooth. I've not tried the dough function yet since I own a nice artisan mixer that has a larger capacity. But it will be nice too chop up my pico de gallo in the ninja instead of by hand. Everything washes up easily. Since there are quite a few components to this system you will need to clear some space in your pantry or cabinets. I'm very glad to have this new Nutri Ninja Duo. I highly recommend it to anyone to loves to make anything that needs blending or chopping.

Design: I like the design of this Ninja blender. It has a modern, sleek look with an appealing black and silver finish. The buttons on the base of the blender are clearly labeled with the name of each function, and they are easy to press. In addition, the cord length more than suits my needs based on where I like to place the blender in my kitchen, and the suction cups on the bottom of the blender prevent it from moving while turned on. Regarding the included plastic containers, each is durable but also lightweight. Features: Firstly, the blender comes with four containers, which include: one 4-cup bowl, one 32 oz. cup, and two 24 oz. cups. I have found the 4-cup Nutri Bowl to be especially useful because I like to make a yogurt blend that my whole family can share. Each container seems well-made, so I am not worried about them breaking anytime soon. Additionally, the three cups have lids, which are great to have when you want to transport the drink you have made. I like to take a smoothie with me to work in the morning, so I am glad there are lids included. Also, all the containers are easy to clean. The plastic has not lost its color, and sticky residue is not overly difficult to clean from the cup. Secondly, the Auto-IQ Technology is fantastic. Pausing and pulsing patterns are performed automatically, which is not only convenient but also more effective than manual operation. I enjoy this blender's ease of use, and it did not take me long to learn what each Auto-IQ program does. Effectiveness: I am very impressed with how well this blender can crush and mix almost any food you put into it, even frozen food. Thanks to the powerful motor and blades, I have been able to achieve very smooth blends every time. As mentioned above, the Auto-IQ technology drastically contributes to the effectiveness of each blend. You can control the texture and consistency, which not every blender is able to do, at least not as well as this Ninja blender. Verdict: If you are looking for a versatile blender that can blend, chop, mix, or even knead dough, this Ninja blender is the one for you. With the sleek design, it looks nice in my kitchen, the features, such as a variety of containers and Auto-IQ technology, are very useful, and it is one of the most effective blenders I have ever used.

Great big power in a small multitasking machine

This is a powerful, heavy duty blender. I haven't had any of the $300+ power blenders so I can't compare this to those but it makes better smoothies and shakes than any of my previous machines. . Not all blenders can crush ice well, or blend frozen fruit into a good, dense slush but this one does. Once upon a time I fell for the juicing fad and got a juicer, but I realized that it doesn't make sense to not use at least half of each food I put through it unless I saved the remains to use in something else - that was a pain. This blender can do whatever you want for smoothies and juices without wasting some of the best, most nutritious parts of food. I also frequently make salsa, sofrito, and mirepoix and this is ideal for that. I don't always feel like hauling out my big Kitchenaid food processor. This is what I like best about this Ninja - that it can do more than one thing with a relatively small footprint. It isn't compact by any means, but it is smaller than having multiple machines, and even smaller than my old (and less powerful) Oster blender. Sometimes you might feel you have to hold onto your blender so it doesn't jump off the counter, but this has rubber suction feet. That accounts for probably 10 percent of my appreciation for this thing! The first time I put it down, it stuck fast before I knew what was happening. There are buttons for dough (and a blade for mixing without cutting), chop, mix, and pulse along with the smoothie and extract buttons. You'll have to experiment to see which modes you prefer. Except for the smoothie function, not all presets generally do what I want but I do like the mix and pulse modes a lot. I expected this to be louder than it is - that is a pleasant surprise. I don't use my dishwasher to clean the plastic parts of my kitchen appliances so I can't speak to the cleaning aspect of the Ninja except to say, be very careful because the blades are sharp. If you're looking for a way to sneak vegetables into spaghetti sauce, muffins, or quick breads, this can pulverize anything well enough to get away with it. If you want to make your own nut butters, this can do it. My biggest test is making garbanzo bean flour for panelle. I haven't tried that yet but next time I hit the market I'll get some dried beans, a pair of earplugs, and go to town.

Impressions: This probably won't be the most expensive appliance on your counter, but the look and feel are quite nice. The reflective stainless base looks and feels like a quality built item. Much more than an on/off switch but not too complicated, the buttons are clearly labeled with an assortment of functions the blender offers. One of my favorite design features of the Ninja series is the suction cups on the bottom of the base. This machine is powerful and it's good to know that it won't walk away on your counter during operation. I like the included smaller travel cups(24oz) with matching lids. If you are active person you can make yourself a fresh protein drink to take to the gym. Features: The blender comes with four containers in total with three different size. one 4-cup bowl, one 32 oz. cup, and two 24 oz. cups. The bowl is an interesting feature and I had not thought about all the recipes that might be possible until I saw this. Making a lower sugar yogurt blend, homemade cookie dough or salmon burgers are all now easily possible. Cleanup in the dishwasher works quite well. Auto-IQ Technology is a great feature. Pausing and pulsing patterns are performed automatically, it's sort of a set it and forget it type feature. The ease of use is quite good. You pretty much don't have to read the manual to get up and running quickly. Effectiveness:? The blender can crush and mix almost any food you put into it, even frozen food. The blades were able to handle a ton of ice that I experimented with in my first drink. Of course, getting a recipe right is a bit of an art. My too heavily initial ice and frozen fruit drink turn into an Italian ice dessert more than a smoothie. The kid loved it anyways. I experimented with frozen fruits and snuck some veggies in as well. Without any sugar the kids didn't know any different. The texture and consistency can be changed with the different Auto IQ settings. Really a nice feature you probably won't find in other blenders at this price range. Final thought: A versatile blender that can blend, chop, mix, or even knead dough, the Ninja blender is tops in my books and the price can't be beat.

I was very excited to try the Nutri Ninja Bowl Duo system. The components were packaged very nicely with plenty of cardboard boxes, partitions and warnings of sharp blades in the packaging. Also Included: A user friendly Quick Assembly Guide, A well Written and Illustrated Instruction Guide Book and A Colorful easy to understand Recipe Booklet that has 75 recipes. The first Item I used (after reading all the safety Instructions) was the 24 oz Nutri Ninja Cup. I made my favorite smoothie using: Kale, Frozen Kiwi and Apple Juice. I put them into the Cup following the loading Tips reference in the recipe book. The Cup has measurement markings and a Maximum Liquid line so that the glass is not overfilled. The cup has a blade assembly that screws onto the cup and than locks onto the top of the motor base. On the front of the unit is the control panel with multiple easy to read buttons. I selected the Smoothie Button and left the Auto IQ Boost setting on. Wow was that fun! The unit automatically stopped after a minute of doing a series of burst pulse mixes and a final longer mix. My drink was Perfectly Blended and a proper serving size. I replaced the blade assembly with the Spout Lid and found it comfortable to drink from. Awesome! My next drink was with the 32 oz Cup. This time I used Frozen Strawberries, Frozen Mangos, Fresh Pineapple Chunks and Juice using the Frozen Drink Setting and again leaving the Auto IQ on. WOW WOW WOW, again a perfect blend automatically. I love The Auto IQ Boost Settings and The 24 & 32 oz cups. No more making too large of a drink for me!!! Next I used the Nutri Bowl to make the Cauliflower Rice from the recipe book. Before adding the ingredients I locked the bowl into place on the motor base. It makes a small clicking sound when the bowl is locked in. Part of the cauliflower, garlic and cilantro are put into the 3 cup bowl that has a multiple blade spindle that sets into the middle of the bowl. Once all the ingredients are in the bowl the Lid locks onto the bowl and I selected the Auto IQ Boost NO button and then the Fusion Chop button. The unit did a few pulses and stopped on its own. I then added the remaining ingredients according to the recipe and used the Fusion Chop button again. In seconds all the ingredients were finely chopped and ready to be added to the rest of the ingredients to be cooked on the stove. In under 15 minutes I prepared, cooked and plated my great tasting food! The bowl doesn't have a Handle so I found it somewhat awkward to hold when removing from the motor base. Then it got a little messy getting the blade out of the bowl. Since the ingredients are so finely chopped it should be removed over a plate or paper towel. After cleaning the bowl and its blade I used the bowl to chop dates for making Date Bars. I find Dates are sticky and hard to chop with a traditional knife. When using the bowl I found that chopping just 1 cup of dates at time worked best for getting an even cut quickly. I was thrilled to have all my dates chopped so quickly. I'll never hand chop dates again! I also chopped chicken, apples and onions for other recipes in the cookbook, I love the results of the chopped food! I wish the bowl had more of an indentation or a small handle for a better grip. It also has a small opening in the lid with a sliding cover, not sure what that is intended for, I have shaky hands so I can't use it for adding liquid. I really enjoyed trying recipes form the book. The Nutri Bowl also has a Dough Blade for mixing Bread and Cookies, I'll be trying them next. The cups, bowl and blades are dishwasher safe so clean up was easy. If I could give it 4.5 starts then I would.
