I love this thermometer! I just gave one as a gift to my daughter because she kept borrowing mine! You set it in your dish (I like it for beef). You select how you are cooking the item (grill, oven etc). It will tell you when to flip, how much cooking time is left, when to take it out to rest. It is idiot-proof! The only way you can mess it up is to not pay attention to the app, or set it for "well-done" when you want rare. We've even used it for a casserole to be sure it was up to temp. The battery lasts a VERY long time and shows you the life left so you don't end up with a dead thermometer mid cook.

Works well and is easy to use. My only complaint is that it uses a AAA battery to charge the thermometer instead of being able to plug it in to charge.

Bought this to replace my Yummly thermometer that’s no longer supported. This one is as easy to use and seems accurate. I docked a star because of the size. It’s pretty large, so I find it doesn’t work in all cuts of meat. For example, I cook boneless chicken thighs a lot and I’ve tried inserting it all kinds of ways but it’s still thicker/longer than the meat so it’s not accurate. I didn’t have this issue with my original Yummly thermometer.

Works great, I love not having wires hanging out of the smoker. Temperature reading is accurate and the wireless distnace works as expected.

Only used this once, in the oven to make a chuck roast. App connected quickly, was able to keep checking on internal temperature without ever having to open the oven. I rarely use chuck, but this roast was quite tender.

Works perfectly and is extremely convenient to use. I did have some connectivity issues where it would say I was too far away but it would reconnect right away.

accurate tempurature i just wish it would have said the temp on the battery pack. You can stick the battery pack to the grill and the connection will stay very well on your phone for you to go inside

Used once so far for pulled pork. What a treat watching the temperature from inside the house on my phone. A little expensive. Used my reward points.

I actually love my new Ninja!!! What I love most is its simple to use, nothing too technical. I have had 2 Meaters in the past. They start out good but keep losing the connection after a while. Decided to try a different brand. I have the total tech membership with Best Buy which gives me @ 2 year warranty which is wonderful. Highly recommend Ninja!!!

The Ninja-ProChef Wireless Indoor / Outdoor Thermometer is such a nice option to have around anytime you are cooking. No matter if its in the oven, toaster oven grill, smoker or air fryer you can use the thermometer as long as your cooking temperature does not exceed it 700° top end range of the device. You can either pick a catagory and use pulldowns for the doneness and internal temperature of the meat you are cooking or enter it manually. It has catagories of Beef, Beef Roast and Chicken, leaving the manual option I guess of you are cooking thick pork chops, tenderloin or pork roast. The range between the base and the thermometer is only 5 feet and between the base and phone around 12 feet, so you dont have to stay right at the grill for example, but you are not going to go that far away and still keep an eye on the cooking temperature. It gives you the internal temperature of the meat as well as the ambient temperature in the appliance you are using. It updates you along the way and will give you an estimated done time as well as when to pull the meat from the heat as well as when it is done after its resting period. I had it set up today for a nice Beef Strip Steak, medium well, however after following all the prompts I ended up with more of a medium to medium rare. It was still delicious but it was a bit under cooked based on what it told me it would be cooked to. Still a very nice device and a very nice 1.5" prime NY Strip it helped me grill today.
