    There is no comparison between this and our old traditional blender. This one is so load it scared the wife on the first use. It crushes ice almost too good and super fast.

    This Ninja is best maker of shakes I have ever had. I use it at least once a week for 60 oz drink. It will crush 16 oz of ice cubes in 3 to 5 seconds. My old blenders needed three times that, and never completed the job. The shake itself is also finished in one third the time. And it is so much creamer, and fully blended. My old blenders usually over heated, requiring frequent restarts. Highly recommended.
