I was making coconut butter recipe stated processing time 4 to 18 minutes. I had to stand and press button every minute or so.

It does everything so well except Purée. When in pure mode, it really does not do anything more than shred/crush. I wish it did purée but unfortunately it doesn’t.

Good machine with flaws

It has more capacity than my older machines, and it has a very clever 3-size push chute so it can slice anything from a carrot to a loin roast. The motor is very powerful and not terribly loud. I for sure don't feel any resistance when pushing things into it. It has very strong suction-cup feet that stick solidly to the counter top. Fortunately there's a hand-grip cut into the front so you can pry it off of the counter to put it away. I couldn't wait to use the machine, so right away I started slicing vegetables and a pot roast we just made. The roast was pretty soft, but the machine managed to make slices thin enough for sandwiches. The blade is adjustable for thickness -- I've never had that before and it's an awesome feature. It can cut from paper-thin to about 1/2" thick if I remember correctly. There's a safety in the chute where the pusher has to be inserted all the way or it won't work. Then my wife got her hands on it and she monopolized it for the next 3 days cooking and baking. The recipe book comes with a scones recipe, and my wife baked four batches! We spent about a week using it just about every day for chopping, slicing, grating, mixing, and kneading, and I think it's found itself a permanent home on my counter. It's really easy to clean and it comes with a nice box to hold the blades. The storage box is fairly large, so don't expect it to save you any space, but at least the parts are organized and safe.
