Quality Control Issues
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to love this machine, but when I went to wash it in preparation for first use, I noticed major cosmetic damage. There were gigantic scratches and deep gashes in the plastic container. There was also a large chunk of rubber missing from the rubber gasket that locks the lid in place. I returned it to the store and went with another brand. That's unacceptable.

Powerful little machine!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So this machine is pretty powerful and versatile. I was able to make some delicious salsa, chop vegetables so i can sauté them, shred cheese and make pico de gallo. Ease of use: This unit is fairly easy to setup and use. There are 8 different attachments for different purposes depending on what you’re using it for. The user manual does a great job telling you which attachment is for what. There’s also a little recipe book so you can explore/trial different recipes. The auto iq modes are chop and puree. The manual modes are dough, disc, low/high and pulse. I believe the auto iq modes run for 1 minute. Performance/Power Geez this thing is powerful. But you can expect that at 1000 watts. It’s also rather loud so using this in the morning can/will disturb others in the house. But i was able to chop vegetables, shred cheese, and make salsa with ease. I’m not a fan of chopping garlic and onions and this helped me so much! I used to dread chopping onions but no more. Lol this really has saved me so much time. But of course, there’s the clean up and that’s never fun. But, it isn’t too bad. The only thing is trying to find storage/space to store away the unused attachments. Since there’s many attachments, you may be better off putting them all in one small tote/or something large enough to fit everything. But other than that, it’s solid machine for about 100 bucks and well worth it due to it having many different uses.

Best Buy for a family of 4-5
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great size. Easy to stow away in a corner of the countertop. Its size makes it really convenient. Although small, the processor bowl size is big enough for the needs of my family. Easy to put together but initially I had to get used to the requirements of aligning everything and locking/unlocking the parts correctly. We ended up having a blinking white light. By the way, I had to look up online to understand what the blinking lights meant. The information was not easily available in the user manuals. I would recommend adding a section on troubleshooting. The parts are otherwise fairly easy to put together once you get a hang of it. I tried the food processor to puree my homegrown tomatoes, shred some veggies, and knead a ball of dough. I put a bunch of WHOLE San Marzanos tomatoes in the processing bowl. I first tried the chopping button. The chops were even. The auto-sensor magically knew when to stop rotating when the chopping was done and I was quite impressed with that. Then I tried pureeing with my second batch. It pureed in very little time and very evenly. It took may be 10 seconds for about 10 whole tomatoes to get pureed with absolutely no chunks. That was really awesome. Next, the slicer was easy to put together. I tried pushing down the veggies and the cheese with my hand initially. That worked well. But when I used the pusher, I was immediately sold! It took seconds to slice or shred down stuff. Like the chopping, slicing happened very evenly. The dough making was a little tricky. It took me some time to figure out what flour to water ratio can give me the right consistency. The recipe booklet had a recipe for Naan but I wanted to make roti. So at first I had a sticky dough. Then I added some flour to make the dough leave the sides. It rotated around the bowl without clinging onto the sides of the blades. So all was good eventually. I will eventually perfect the flour to water ratio after a few more trials. One of the challenges of kneading bread in that heat within a machine like this can mess up the work of the yeast. But this processor makes the dough so fast, I bet there will be no time for the motor to heat up. Overall, this is excellent for smaller families with 4-5 people; good for everyday use because of its size; it is easy to wash and clean as well. The manuals could be revised, may be with more recipe options and troubleshooting details.
