    We've had Kitchenaid food processors for years. Our 15 year old Kitchenaid bowl and cover weren't engaging the safety switch anymore, and a replacement bowl cost more than this Ninja. My wife thought the auto settings did an amazing job of making pureed food. Also it is much easier to clean. The Kitchenaid had a lot of little crevices that were hard to get clean. Now Ninja needs to make a 13 cup unit.

    Only used it a couple of times for chopping so far. Four blades work fast and cut into uniform pieces. Powerful motor. Unit is heavy. Suction cups are annoying when trying to move processor. Rubber/plastic gasket is fragile and confusing. Previous processor worked fine without a gasket and I had to work to get it on straight. Hope it's not an item that wears out or tears and needs to be replaced. Shute for shredding and cutting seems a little small. 9-cup capicity is a good size, not to big or too small. Overall, it seems to work well.
