The Ninja Thirsti 18oz. Travel Bottle is the perfect water bottle for me — and not just for water. I know it’s designed to go with Ninja’s Thirsti drink system, but this thing rocks as a stand-alone travel bottle. The interior is mirror-finished stainless steel. This is important when wanting to use the Ninja Thirsti with a carbonated drink. The CO2 in your drink is constantly looking for something to attach itself to — and then form bubbles (think champagne in an etched glass where the bubbles rise in a certain design). This is how to quickly lose carbonation, making your drink go flat. Ninja helps defy this process by using the mirror finish. Nothing for the CO2 to cling to. I love my sparkling waters, and the Ninja keeps the fizz going for as long as I’m enjoying the drink. The bottle even has a built-in pressure release valve. Pretty amazing. I really like the exterior. Mine is black and it’s kind of a matte finish. It feels good and secure when grabbing ahold of this thing. It’s kind of hard to see in the pictures, but there is a slight indentation on either side of the bottle, making it that much easier to grip. Nice touch. My Ninja fits nice and firmly in my car’s cupholder. This is good because the cup holder actually keeps the bottle from spinning as I’m loosening the lid. (For reference, I have a late model Chevy Blazer, so I would assume that most GM vehicles would be fine.) As far as thermal properties go, the Ninja Thirsti works great. It’ll keep my coffee hot for hours (longer than I need before a refill ;-), and I’ve come back to this following a day where I’ve had a cold beverage and there’s still ice clinking around inside. Impressive. I had to laugh at myself the first couple days using the Ninja. I was getting annoyed by the swing-away lid when taking a drink. If I didn’t hold it in place with my index finger, it would swing back and smack me in the forehead! This alone might have been a deal-breaker and a star-deductor — until I realized that all I had to do was push it beyond that first stop and it would lock in place out of the way while drinking. Doah! Anyway, the Ninja Thirsti Travel Bottle is as sturdy as I could possibly need. It looks good and works amazingly. I cannot make this thing leak — even with a carbonated beverage. Wow!

I have a few different sizes of insulated steel bottles that I use regularly for ice water. This Ninja bottle caught my attention, though, because it said it's specifically designed for carbonated drinks. The "use and care guide" that came with it says it's "engineered with a super-polished interior to prevent nucleation points that cause bubbles to escape and make your drink go flat faster." It definitely is unique from my other bottles because the inside really is polished like a mirror. It's hard to quantify how much better it might be at keeping my drink fizzy, but it does seem to work very well. Like any bottle, it holds the carbonation better when it's mostly full. I've filled it first thing in the morning, left it closed, then opened it up to have with lunch and it's just like a freshly opened pop. If I drink half of it mid-morning, though, then it does tend to go a little flatter because of the air space. The pressure sealing cap seems like a good design and is easy to use. You can twist off the small cap, take a sip, and then seal it up to keep the remaining pressure inside. The large cap unscrews for easy cleaning, and also drinking if you want to get some of the ice out. It does fit in every cup holder that I've tried. The design is simple with two vertical flat strips 180 degrees apart that help you to keep a grip on it. There's also a silicone strap attached to the lid for carrying or strapping it to something. My wife thinks the strap is the perfect size, but it's a little small for my hands. Still, I can get three fingers into the loop and that's the most convenient way to carry it. Beyond that, it's a pretty normal steel bottle. It's a convenient 18oz size and seems like it'll be very rugged. Ninja is backing it with a 5 year warranty, so it seems they expect it to be rugged, too.

The Ninja Thirsti 18oz. Travel Bottle is nicely designed with a clean, modern look and a flexible silicone handle. The round screw on top and square drinking cap both seem to seal tightly. The bottle feels solidly built and fits nicely in cup holders. The part I was excited about was that I could keep soda cold and fizzy for 24 hours. This bottle is unique since most travel bottles cannot hold carbonated beverages or it could build up too much pressure and ruin the seals and/or could be dangerous. I tested the bottle with soda and no ice since I do not like my soda diluted by melted ice. The soda stayed cold and fizzy all day but the next day it was not cold enough but it was still pretty fizzy. I felt like the cold for 24 hours claim did not work well. I think the 2 days ice claim works fine. The LeakLock lid worked well in that it did not leak or spill at all. The bottle is also BPA free and is made of 18/8 stainless steel. Overall this is a really good start at a BubbleLock travel bottle but I don’t think it works as we as it should.

This Thirsti Travel Bottle is a pretty cool innovation from Ninja. Every once in a while you come across something that you didn’t know you needed until you have it - this is it! So what problem does it solve? Well, recently I decided to trade off sugary sodas for carbonated flavored water and one of the big problems that you run into is most cups aren’t designed to really keep these drinks fresh so once you open the can, it’s almost like once food is prepared at a restaurant and they let it sit in the window. The quality declines at a rapid pace. Enter, stage left, the Thristi. What’s amazing about this, is one - it really DOES work. Two, Ninja apparently did their homework and this bottle is the perfect size. I have another bottle from a different brand and what’s annoying about it is it’s super thick and it does not fit anywhere comfortably. So in the car it ends up getting put on the seat and it rolls around etc. But that’s the only place it fits. This Ninja fits perfectly in the cup holder. It’s also got a sleek carrying/hold-while-sipping handle and it’s dishwasher-safe which makes it a breeze to clean. I have yet to try it with hot beverages (as it’s been a million degrees where I live) but I look forward to that next as we get into colder weather here in the upcoming months. I hope they come out with larger sizes as well!

PRODUCT Ninja Thirsti 18oz. Travel Bottle, Black Well made, heavy duty travel bottle focused on fizzy drinks. My wife's first comment, "great just what we need, yet another beverage bottle". (our cupboards are full of them that we don't use for one reason or another). After using it for a few days we think this is one that will actually get used. We tested it for it's stated purpose, keeping fizzy drinks cold and fizzy, and found that it lived up to it's claim. We both like the carrying handle that is large, and heavy duty. We both liked the smaller screw on cap, but also that you can open up the larger, more traditional cap as well. Sometimes the cap and handle got in the way when drinking, but overall it worked well. We have 2 dogs and take 3 long walks per day. This bottle can be filled with drinks for the humans and easily be taken with us. Pros: - Kept pop fizzy for at least 3 hours ( length of my testing period) - Kept pop cold for at least 3 hours ( length of my testing period) - Convenient handle for carrying - Attractive design Cons: - While attractive the cup is a little clumsy to drink from and the cap has to be positioned so not to fall in the users face - The cup is on the heavy side We recommend the bottle.

Works great! Carbonated beverages were always a question of the container would hold or not with my previous cups of this style. This keeps the carbonation for a long time and keeps it cool. I did notice that you want to push the cap all the way back or it swings forward and bumps you on the nose when you are trying to drink. The handle gives you a very secure feeling while holding it and gives you something to hang it from if that is your style of carry. Very convenient. Easy to clean. I haven’t dropped it yet so I can tell you how it holds up as far as that goes. I have carried it non-stop for a while and it still looks brand new. It fits fine in the bottle holder on my bag. Since I often times don’t finish a beer or soda when I start it, it has been a game changer for me to keep it cold and fizzy longer. The opening is large enough to easily put ice in it without making a mess. Carbonation has lasted over two days. It may not be the same level of fizz as a fresh open can, but way better than if this wasn’t an option.

Delivery was terrible they left my package outside of my gate and it was stolen. I called Best Buy to file a claim and it has been a month I still have not seen my refund. Very disappointed!

Ninja Thirsti 18oz travel bottle. I love this slender stainless steel light weight travel bottle for quick errands, I tested it with hot, cold and carbonated drinks. First my coffee and tea both stood hot/warm the whole day, I tried it with cold water out of my dispenser it stood cold for hours then I tested it with ice the ice did not melt right away being that it is only 18 oz I drink it pretty quickly so I tested it on its own for the day filled up to a drink at least 2-3 times an hour. I tried it with soda stood cold and didn't go flat or explode from pressure and I actually left it in the car while I was shopping in almost 90 degree weather I wanted till I got home for the fear of it exploding but to my surprise it didn't and it was still cold! My kombucha stood cold and carbonated didn't have metallic taste which I noticed has happened with other metal bottles I have. It has a nice screw on cap that stays connected to the bottle, it is leak proof I left it laying down in the sink with hot, cold and carbonated drinks not a single drop leaked out. The description does say it is sent proof which of course I did not test hopefully I won't have to experience if it is. Over all pretty impressed and satisfied. Also it fits in my car cup holder.

Ninja Thirsti 18 oz is the water bottle is didn't know I needed. If you are the average person in USA, then you have at least one water bottle laying around at least. I have 4 of them, one in the car, one light weight for long hikes and 2 at work that i use. Happy to report that i have replaced all of them with the Thirsti 18 oz because it indeed keeps cold drinks cold for the whole day, and if you add ice you can get up to 2 days but who does that!, and when it comes to hot drinks it does keep them hot for at least 8 hours (my testing period during an 8 hour shift). the best part is that this little magic bottle keeps carbonated drinks fizzy for a long time! I have a carbonated water maker at the office and I always struggled because the drinks constantly get flat, but not with this Ninja! I can confirm that my carbonated water stayed bubbly for the whole day, while it stayed cold. the locking mechanism is great so no bubbles leave, and even when its in t he car with car movement, this didn't seem to effect the bubbles. the price is right, the size is right where it fits everywhere and does look elegant and not your run of the mill water bottle. best of all it WORKS!

I was intrigued by the Ninja Thirsti travel bottle and its claims, so I was glad to try it out. In short, Ninja's claims are (mostly) accurate. The Thirsti travel bottle is made from quality materials and claims that it will keep cold fizzy drinks fizzy for up to 24hrs and hot drinks hot for 12hrs. The literature says that one way it keeps drinks fizzy is because of an ultra smooth interior surface, so there are less surfaces for bubbles to form on. The interior is indeed super smooth, and the cap has a seal to keep freshness in. However the cap is also easy to remove quickly. For the cold test I filled the bottle up with a fresh soft drink and let it sit on my kitchen counter (72F ambient temp) for 24hrs. I was pleasantly surprised that the soft drink was still pretty much as it would be out of the can and was still quite cold. However I'm sure that if the bottle was bouncing around more there would have been less fizz but I thought it kept it pretty well and also kept it cold. The hot test was a little less successful. After 12hrs my coffee was a little warmer than lukewarm, but who waits 12hrs to drink their coffee anyway?

I tested this travel bottle with hot and cold beverages. It is aesthetically pleasing with a matte black finish and chrome accents. Gender neutral styling. Although I did not purposely drop or throw this bottle, it feels sturdy enough to take some damage and still work just fine. Cold- I felt like this bottle worked best at keeping my drink cold. I made an iced coffee at about 6am. i sipped throughout the day, finally finishing it around 11am and there was still a significant amount of ice left in the bottle. my coffee was cold the whole time. I am very satisfied with these findings and continue to use it for cold drinks. Hot- I feel as though keeping a drink hot is more challenging. My findings of this theory were correct. I made my hot coffee at 6am. I once again took about 5 hours to finish my coffee. By about 9am my coffee was in dire need of a reheat. This bottle has metal in it so you cannot put it in the microwave. Generally I would finish the coffee within 2 hours of pouring it but for testing sake I took longer.

not that there's anything wrong with this one! I love it. But I end up drinking more water because of how much I love this bottle, that it would have benefited me to get the bigger one. If you love the bottles named after the "ape-like creature purported to inhabit the Himalayan mountain range in Asia. " (Credit Wikipedia), then you're going to fall in love with Ninja's Thirsti! I have had many water bottles over the years. And every time, there's just something off. Maybe the water doesn't stay as cold/hot. Maybe the cap is not as easy and thought out. Maybe they're too difficult to clean. NONE of this is true with the Ninja Thirsti! Ninja thought this bottle through. The round bottle is flat in two places so that it doesn't roll away and it fits so nicely in your hand. Genius! The top has a neat little twist off feature, making it easy to access but completely spill proof. Genius! The silicone strap aids in carrying the bottle and is easy to clean. Genius! Oh! And of course the main selling point is that the Thirsti can handle carbonated drinks?!?! Super genius!!! And talk about maintaining! Even when the ice finally melts, this bottle maintains a cool temperature drink for much longer than some of its price point counterparts. I work long hours and fill my water up throughout the day. Very rarely do I need to add ice to the Thirsti after multiple refills. So would I recommend this to a friend? Yes! And if they want to buy mine, I'm upgrading to the 24 oz! Congratulations Ninja!!! This product is a homerun in my book!

18OZs of all day cold fizzy drinks. The problem I didn't know I had was keeping my seltzer from getting Luke warm and flat after a few hours (especially in the summer). Drinking from plastic bottle through the day I found that I didn't finish my drink toward the end nor did I look forward to it because it became flat even if it was only 12OZs. The Thirsi brings 18OZs and it stays as fizzy and refreshingly cold as the first sip even at then end of the day after it was poured at 5:30AM. The bottle fits in standard vehicle cup holders and the cap is easy to open and close with one had while in the cup holder. The bottle easily fits in my work messenger bag and back pack water bottle pockets. The rubber loop makes the carrying the bottle easy and I can clip it to my back pack with a carabiner so if it does slip out of the pocket it doesn't go crashing to the floor. I can also clip it a grimloc clip I usually have on my belt loop when I need both hands. I can now bring 1 liter bottles of seltzer pour 1/2 of it in the Thirsi and leave the rest in the fridge. I can come back after I'm done with the first half then piyr the rest and I have a fizzy drink that's cold and super bubbly for a day+. I would recommend for anyone into carbonated drinks.

I will get straight to the point, this Thirsti keeps drinks colder than my other metal water bottles. It also keeps hot beverages hot for a lot longer than my ceramic coffee mugs. I not drink very many carbonated beverages(call me mister healthy), so I did not get to test this with any type of sodas. I did test this with seltzer water and it remained cold and fizzy all day. I also took this out with me to run some errands and it fit perfectly into my car's cup holder, so keeping beverages hot or cold for a long time while on the go is a breeze. The only con I have is the rubber handle, it doesn't work well if you attach it to something like a backpack. And it just feels weird holding the handle with my hand. I just hold by the body of the container. The main use for this bottle for me, is for nighttime use. Before bed I fill it with cold water and take my meds and vitamins and since I have been having issues with dehydration, I sip water from this throughout the night and it is always nice and cold.
