I’ve been interested in these CO2 drink systems for awhile so I was excited to try out the Ninja Thirsti system as an alternative to soda and energy drinks. Going in there was a few goals in mind: 1. Create fun and tasty drinks for adults and kids 2. Create drinks with less sugar than soda or sports drinks 3. Save some money compared to buying soft drinks After using the Thirsti for a few days, I’m overall happy with the system but it definitely has its limitations and didn’t really meet all of my goals. For starters, the mix bottles are basically like Mio water that gets added to water with the additional touch of carbonated water. There are sweetened and unsweetened flavors so keep that in mind and the sweetener is sucralose aka Splenda, so there’s a good chance your kids and even most adults will not like the taste. The unsweetened flavors are like Seltzer or hint water, almost like adding a lemon to water which is popular for some. The good news is you are free to venture off the beaten path and make your own drinks with natural juices or syrup, then mix it in and just use the Thirsti system to carbonate your water. This is actually more fun in my opinion as it also opens up the possibility of making adult alcoholic cocktails with muddled berry syrups and fresh squeezed fruit juices like lime juice. On the highest carbonation setting, you’re going to get much more carbonation than tonic or seltzer water. For my second goal or using less sugar, if you are familiar with mio water then the flavor kits will be familiar to you. Slightly bitter and not quite naturally sweet, but more flavorful than just normal water. I liked these drinks but my kids did not. So for me the goal to use less sugar was achieved but not for my kids who were expecting juice. Lastly, you’re not really going to save any money using the Thirsti system over buying soda, sparkling water or sports drinks because the CO2 and flavor drops are expensive. One CO2 canister will make 100 12oz drinks so at $30 per canister that’s $.30 per drink. The flavor drops are $7 per kit and food for 20 or so drinks depending on flavor intensity setting. You can get soda for around $.50 per can on sale and sports drinks for $.60 or so each too, so this system won’t really save you any money. It does provide some fun drink making opportunities however! Overall the system is well built and attractive. It comes with 2 large water pitchers so you can keep them in the fridge until ready to use. The pitcher also changes color with more intense blue meaning colder water. My Samsung fridge has a cold water pitcher so I probably won’t use this feature much especially since you can just add ice before or after carbonating your drink. So overall this is a cool system that can be a lot of fun to use. I think I like the ability to carbonate water the most and the 3 different settings make a really noticeable difference. The cost of refills however is a bummer and the main reason I wouldn’t fully recommend it to someone unless they knew what they were signing up for.

I recently purchased the Ninja Thirsti Drink System and it has completely changed the way I enjoy beverages at home. The system is incredibly easy to use and offers great flexibility in personalizing my drinks. Whether I'm in the mood for a lightly flavored sparkling water or a more intensely flavored seltzer, the Ninja Thirsti caters to all my whims. One of the most impressive features is the push-button control which allows me to choose from three levels of fizz. This means I can tailor the carbonation to my liking, something I really appreciate. Additionally, the system dispenses both still and sparkling water, adding to its versatility. The option to control the flavor intensity is a game changer. It's perfect for those who love experimenting with different tastes and strength of flavors. However, I did notice that the flavor pods aren't refillable, and third-party flavors aren’t available yet, which can be a downside for some. At $169, I found it to be a worthwhile investment, especially considering it is a more economical and eco-friendly alternative to buying bottles and cans. It's not just a gadget for seltzer lovers, but a tool that elevates the whole experience of crafting drinks at home. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the Ninja Thirsti Drink System. It's a must-have for anyone who enjoys carbonated drinks and loves the freedom to customize their flavors. Highly recommended!

Ninja thirsti drink system is a fun soda machine for those who loves making home-made soda drink. Installation is easy and intuitive enough. The system comes with 8 flavors out of more than 20 flavors that you can purchase from Ninja. There are four types of flavors, in a nutshell they are splash (light flavor without sweetener), vitamins (sweetened), hydrate (electrolytes with sweetener) and energy (comes with 50mg of caffeine). Carbonation requires cold water and the system comes with two water jugs that can tell you if the water is cold enough to make a carbonated drink. If you want, you can create a non-carbonated drink as well, or a carbonated drink without any flavor. The machine has two slots for the flavors and you can mix those flavors into a combo. You can also set the strength of the flavor into standard or bold. There are three levels of carbonation: low, medium and high fizz. Carbonation process is automated at the press of a button. It takes time for the water to be carbonated and for the flavor(s) to be infused in the fizz. The machine dispenses 6 oz of water at a time so if you want 12 oz soda, you need to wait for the process to be completed twice. It’s not that long so once the machine produces chime, it’s all set. You can dispense up to 24 oz of soda drink at a single press of the button. Aside of the wait to dispense the drink, this is a great machine. Even at the lowest sparkling setting, I can still taste the fizz just fine. It comes with a drip tray so if there’s a spill, it should be contained by the drip tray. The Ninja Thirsti is not my first soda machine so it’s really nice that this machine has much more features. Well, it’s like having a soda fountain machine at home.

Recently discovered a joy for sparkling water and decided to go with the Ninja Thirsti. We have other Ninja products and have enjoyed them so what was one more? The machine is easy to set up and allows multiple combinations of provided flavors. I like how customizable you can get with the fizz and flavor levels. I am also interested in the CO2 canister swap provided by the company. 2 weeks in and so far can highly recommend the product.

I've been a long-time fan of Shark and Ninja products, so I was thrilled to discover that they've launched a new carbonated drink system. As someone who enjoys both carbonated beverages and mixed drinks, I was eager to try this soda machine upon its release. This is my first experience with an at-home, on-demand soda machine, and I must say that I'm quite pleased with the variety of drink options it adds to my kitchen, whether for personal use or for entertaining guests. The Ninja thirsti drink system arrives well-packaged, with the machine and its components neatly wrapped in plastic bags and placed in the product box. The box also contains a separate package for the CO2 canister and a variety box of flavored water drops. Unpacking the system is straightforward; simply remove the parts from their bags and detach any tape that secures movable components. After removing all the cardboard, plastic, and tape, you'll need to install the CO2 canister and plug in the machine. The instruction manual advises running a quick rinse cycle to remove any dust that may have accumulated during storage. To do this, partially fill the water reservoir, dock it onto the unit, and select the option to create a 12-ounce still water drink. Once you've completed this step, you're ready to start making beverages. Operating the thirsti drink system is incredibly easy and intuitive. Just place a full, cold water reservoir on the unit, choose your desired carbonation level and beverage size, and select a flavor combination from the two options available in the flavor carriage. After making your selections, press the start button to initiate the drink-making process. The machine dispenses your beverage in 6-ounce increments; for example, a 24-ounce drink would be filled, carbonated, and poured four times before it's ready. A full 24-ounce drink, or multiple drink, may take a couple of minutes to prepare, but a single 6-ounce serving is ready in about 30 seconds. The machine operates quietly, although you can hear buzzing and hissing it as it fills and carbonates the water. I find the process entertaining to watch and hear, especially when the flavoring is squirted into the carriage and mixes with the carbonated water. The unit features two different trays to accommodate various cup sizes, and the bottom tray doubles as a drip tray that should be emptied and cleaned periodically. The tray has an indicator that rises when it becomes full, although I would recommend cleaning it before it reaches that point. What I particularly like about this machine is its slim design, which occupies minimal counter space and is light enough to be easily stored in a cabinet when not in use. The option to choose the carbonation level is a great feature; I prefer fully carbonated drinks, while my husband likes his a bit less fizzy. We've experimented with all the flavors in the starter 8-pack I received, and we both find the "Splash" flavors most appealing, primarily because they don't contain artificial sweeteners. Given recent concerns about the potential health risks of sucralose, I was initially hesitant but decided to try the other flavors as well. The "Energy" flavor was effective, and the "Vitamins" flavors were decent, though they did leave an aftertaste of artificial sweetener and vitamins. I would recommend that Ninja consider introducing naturally sweetened options, as well as a cola flavor. If natural sweeteners would take up too much space in the pods, an additional pump of liquid natural sweetener could be a viable alternative. According to the instructions, one CO2 canister can produce up to 100 twelve-ounce carbonated drinks. There's also a canister refill club, which appears to be an excellent way to reduce waste and lower CO2 replacement costs for consumers. Overall, I'm very pleased with this new addition to my kitchen. As someone who enjoys soda in moderation, I look forward to seeing an expanded flavor selection that includes naturally sweetened options. I'm excited to use it for entertaining, offering a range of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic mixed drinks to friends. If you're a fan of carbonated beverages, especially seltzer and unsweetened options, you'll likely enjoy the Ninja thirsti drink system. Whether you live alone or in a bustling household, this machine will undoubtedly see frequent use, adding to your kitchen an array of flavorful drink options.

I'm of a mixed opinion on this. It works exactly as advertised and it works very well. The drinks are generally very good. However, it's not doing much more than squeezing flavoring from a bottle into water. You can do that yourself without the machine. That said, yes it is precisely measured for a consistent experience. And yes, there is a Co2 canister to add carbonation (if that is really important to you). But their flavorings and canisters cost money and Best Buy doesn't really carry them in store - at least my local one doesn't. And it's expensive. I got this on sale, and for what I paid I'm happy with it. If you're interested, watch the price and strike when it's low. It's a good product that works well, but it's not worth $200.

I am very happy with the Ninja Thirsti. I was looking at another brand when I read the reviews for the Ninja. It’s easy and works as designed. I am happy I bought the bundle with two water containers. It’s handy if I forget to take the container off and put it back in the fridge. I also bought the Ninja water bottle that is designed to hold the carbonation and very pleased with that too. I was already a water drinker and have increased my water intake. The combination of the machine and the water bottle will eliminate the need to buy bottles and cans. I like that you can use your own containers for the water and the Ninja water bottle makes it easier to take with.

Absolutely love this! We’re able to customize drinks to a flavor we like best, have it carbonated or still, and saves us money and time. Would definitely recommend!

This machine has saved my family so much money already. We're no longer purchasing Seltzer water or soda. The cartridge last for about 200 drinks, which came in clutch at the holidays. It is beautifully designed to match the other Ninja products in my life. Upon purchasing, I contacted Ninja to discuss the included syrups being expired. Customer relations immediately allowed me to choose replacements from their large drink catalog and shipped them the next day. Did I mention this was at no charge to me, we'll it was. I prefer to purchase brands I know from retailers I trust. This Best Buy purchase was a total win. Speaking of total, being a member allows me to purchase with confidence. I know that in the slim chance something happens to this machine, Best Buy has my back-S.C.O.R.E

I seriously love this appliance. It is nice to replace sugary sodas and i don’t love normally bubbly water. Love this i can adjust carbonation and flavor to the way i like it. Great on its own and fun for cocktails/hosting!

This is a great system. We have been long time owners of a soda stream and this is really an upgrade. We understand this requires electric vs the soda stream just needing a CO2 bottle. The flavor cartridges, they satisfy our desire to have a flavored bottle of some carbonated drink available in your local grocer. So bonus, no plastic bottle waste. Overall we like this enough we are adding one to our RV and will retire our other device.

This is the best invention.. Drinks are deliciously refreshing again. Bubbly and tasty. Easy to use and with so many options. I loved it so much, that I bought a family member one too.

We really love this. I was spending a small fortune on sparkling water and this has saved us a lot of money and we get to have a variety of flavors. Better than soda stream because you can infuse flavors with Ninja or use flavors after the fact.

Got this to provide a healthier version of pop for my kids. I love the ninja products, they are very well built and easy to use. This machine works great and provides you with 8 options to mix and match you make carbonated drinks. My kids and I love this machine and tie flavors are amazing

After having the ninja thirsti for a full week now I can say that it is definitely helping me drink more water. Before getting this, for me having to drink water was like a chore, and both my wife and I love it alot along with the different flavors ninja has for this machine. They give you 8 flavors to start off and after trying them all out, we went on the ninja website and went all out and bought all the flavors they carry. There are some pros and cons about the thirsti but for the most part its definitely a good buy. The only thing that would be the thing to think about is having to use a subscription for getting the CO2 canisters if you use them alot to make bubbly drinks, i think it says that with each canister gets you more or less, and depending on how carbonated you make your drinks, can get you about 30 12oz drinks, which isnt that bad especially if youre already spending money getting other carbonated water drinks out there. So with that being said it definitely earned its space on the counter for full time use.

I was on the fence about purchasing because we had a different sparkling water maker, but this product goes so far beyond just sparking water! The flavors are great and there are tons of options. It’s easy to use, quick, and the results are super tasty!! I have zero negative things to say.

Super worth it if you are looking for an alternative to sodas. The flavors are nice and plentiful. There is a ton of blending options you can try. I have tried the non carbonated as well and its really good too.

This was a great purchase. All 4 people in the house can mix their own flavor and fizz level. Encourages everyone to drink more water and less sugar. Will save money in the longer run and is healthier. Won't get boring with so many customization options.

My family loves this. We use it every day multiple times a day. Very easy to use. Just swap out flavors for a new one whenever you want. Most of the flavors are good but a few aren't the best. Already ordered more of the flavors we like.

Ninja always makes quality products and this one is no exception. Its built well and fun to use. I cant wait to try new flavor combinations down the road but even the ones included are very good. 2 thumbs up and i highly recomend
