Amiibo should be great

Not sure why nintendo gave up on these so fast? Some are used brilliantly to assist you in a game (like BOTW). Others like splatoon amiibo do very little to help. Some play parts of old school games. But the problem comes when an Amiibo does nothing! The only ones I skipped were the Capcom and the cards for animal crossing, although I did sell the entire 4 books of 109 cards each. Just seemed to not do much! Make them more incorporated in your games and they will continue to sell out.
