Bought this Nintendo - amiibo Figure (Shovel Knight - Gold Edition) but do not think it is any longer available brand new so perfect timing. Good amiibo

The amiibo looks really nice in person than in pictures and it sure is worth if you are into collecting amiibos. It doesn't look as shiny as the Mario one though.

I've had this figure preordered forever and it has finally arrived. It does not disappoint. These figures get better and better, detail and quality alike.

My family loves Shovel Knight! I had pre-ordered this item and waited months for it to be released. By the time we got it, it must've been about a year-long wait. This is definitely one of the more collectable amiibos we have as it's gold (it also sort of looks like a trophy, so that's cool). It's by far the coolest amiibos we have and I will continue to keep my eyes peeled for more in this color.

It's an Amiibo going to add to the total amiibo collection count. It's good looking and pretty cool.

For those unaware, Nintendo's line of Amiibo figures are collectibles that also unlock certain optional bonuses in video games that they're compatible with. Said bonuses vary, and are usually mentioned on the back of the packaging, for those curious. But most people buy these for the sake of having a nice and affordable figure of a favorite character. In the case of the Shovel Knight one, it works for the games of the same name on both the 3DS and Switch systems. It's a special edition re-issue of a previous Amiibo, sporting gold armor instead of the character's usual blue, and thus has the same in-game functions. So if you have the original Shovel Knight figure and can't find this one, don't worry too much unless you're in this solely for the collection aspect. The figure itself is very nice, with a pleasing mix of gold, bronze, and silver paint across its different parts. Even the packaging is nice to look at, with a foil stamped "Gold Edition" label in the top corner; in-box collectors will really enjoy this, as well. Regardless of if you're a fan of the Shovel Knight series, or an avid collector of Amiibos, or anywhere in between, you can't really go wrong with adding this to your collection.

This Gold Shovel Knight amiibo is a great addition to a collection. It looks fantastic.

The Gold Shovel Knight amiibo works just like the regular Shovel Knight amiibo released a couple of years ago but this amiibo is good for those who missed the original Shovel Knight amiibo since it’s never been restocked. Unless you want to pay $40 on a different website for the original Shovel Knight amiibo, I recommend you getting this gold variant before it’s out of stock.
