It is a piece of plastic. It has some in game interactions but don't get fooled, this is a figurine for collecting purposes. if you are ok with dust collectors that look cool, go for it. They are addictive, beware.

Take this with a grain of salt, because I own one of every amiibo. But, I love these little figures and I would recommend every one--as long as you are a collector or like the character. Totally recommend!!

Amiibos are a divisive product. I buy them, and love them, as nostalgic figurines, more-so than for their possible in-game functionality. This Solid Snake amiibo is well designed.

I'm so glad to add this amiibo to my collection. It's got great detail and the quality is top notch. Looks great sitting on the shelf and also has some good functionality with various Nintendo Switch games.

Another great example of the detail that goes into Nintendo’s Amiibos! My daughter loves picking it up and chucking it across the room and not even a dent! lol. Great product!

What is there to say, it's Solid Snake (Young Version) you can almost hear the enemy alerts the way his stance is, seems like he's been spotted also lol! God Bless Nintendo and Best Buy!!!

This is a high-quality figure of Kurt Russell's iconic character Snake Plissken from John Carpenter's Escape From New York. Doesn't look much like Kurt Russell but he probably doesn't care.

Its Solid Snake and its done very well. I always thought since they were mass produced amiibo would lose its quality. Nope this looks exactly like the photo. Great Snake trophy

Really nice looking amiibo for Super Smash Bros. Even if you didn't want to use it for games or even own SSB it's a cool little figure to have if you're a fan of the Metal Gear Series.

As a big fan of both Smash Bros. and Metal Gear Solid, I was very excited to finally get a Snake amiibo to add to my collection. The quality is pretty nice for a $15.99 figure.

Never thought I'd see the day when snake was released as an amiibo. Well here it is. If a solid snake game is released on switch, compatibility with this amiibo would be fantastic.

I think the average quality of amiibo has gone up considerably since 2014, and this one is pretty cool especially since he was in Brawl and we're just now getting the amiibo.

So glad we have a Snake Amiibo now. I loved the first to Metal Gear Solid game, which Snakes look here is based on. Glad to add him to my Smash Bros. Amiibo collection.

Finally a metal gear solid amiibo,and is one of the best on the smash ultimate line,even if you are not an amiibo collector ,this figure has to be in every gamer house

I bought this solid Snake amiibo purely out of fandom for the Metal Gear Solid series and it does not disappoint. Now all I need is a tiny cardboard box to go with it!

I am a metal gear big fan. I had to grab my hands on this amiibo since they don't make much figures of metal gear characters. It looks very good !
