    The level of detail on this amiibo is fantastic and the style of the character is far beyond the amiibo associated with Splatoon 1. The unlockable ninja outfit in the game is also my favorite in the game. If you can find one, buy one.

    The new line of Splatoon amiibos are much better detailed and quality than the previously released amiibo's from the first game. I really enjoy the squid boy and hope they release other Splatoon 2 amiibo's in the future.

    Pretty detailed and gives you gear in game, but you have to play in the lobby first before they give it to you. Generally unlocks around lvl 10 (not sure exact number of games required so feel free to check earlier).

    The quality of the actual amiibo figure is great - definitely an improvement from the original ones. It offers some in game items but unfortunately does not have the extra challenges like the older ones.
