Got the item by the time it was stores, however it wasn’t in a box as usual and the plastic the item comes in at stores was wrecked. It was surprising that the figure itself was completely fine. I luckily don’t keep them in the containers unlike most people who still buy these. So concerning, but in the end I got what I wanted.

The amiibos when it comes to characters that showed their humanoid face. They tend to look weird and this is not an exception

I bought this hoping to keep it as a collector's item but BestBuy.com delivered it and gave me one with the packaging all bent and stuff. It's always a gamble to order these kind of things online anywhere. But BestBuy provided an easy return service.

Why was this shipped in a soft sided package? The packaging came damaged, so if your a collector be prepared to be disappointed. Also, even though I pre-ordered it way in advance, it came almost 2 weeks after it was released.

Buyer beware - best buy's e-commerce is in the toilet. Orders will take multiple days to prepare/process. Sometimes you'll get it quickly (pre-covid customer service). But most of the time you won't. That means Best Buy holds your money (and purchase) for weeks, while you can't cancel the order and get a refund so you can buy it elsewhere. Goes without saying that Best Buy's in store experience is literally F-tier, so it's not an improvement there either. Safe to say - if you can buy an item elsewhere, do it. Amazon is probably the only other place with worse customer service, because they will straight up lose returns. At least BB has physical store locations, so you don't deal with that when making returns.
