I bought this gift card for my grandson, and he loves that he was able to buy his favorite games.

The card is fairly sturdy, despite being cardboard. When scratching off the coating on the numbers, I did not feel as though I was going to gouge the numbers out.
In addition, while it's a little thing, the fact that the Nintendo eShop greys out the letters that aren't used, but could be mistaken for other characters (L, I, O, etc), is WONDERFUL for entering the number when redeeming your card.
Overall, a great buy that I will likely use for any future eshop purchases, as it allows me to get both Best Buy points, and the much higher digital purchase Gold Coins reward on the eShop.

This Nintendo eShop card is made of the highest quality card stock and the artwork is simply sublime. The security scratch off thing on the back is a nice touch and comes off great with a key or coin. Brings me back to the days of when my nana would buy scratchy lottery tickets and cigarettes as the gas station conscience store down the street from where she lived. I’d spend plenty of summer days there playing old Nintendo consoles my uncle had while she smoked those cigarettes and watch tv on the couch that she also used as a bed.
The card worked when I entered the numbers and bingo bango bongo, my cold hard cash was turned into electronic Nintendo currency! If only it would go up in value like Bitcoin, THEN we’d have something.

I have no idea how you’re supposed to rate this lol. Its use is what you choose to get out of it. However I had no problems regarding bestbuy so that’s a plus.

Dont know what zelda game your kid was rambling on and on about, dont worry. Get them the gift card and then figure out how to redeem it on the Nintendo e-shop. Sure, your kid forgot his password, sure, theres a capital and a special character. You will get it eventually. Then dont worry even though the gift card covers the game, the parents have to cover the taxes, are you really going to make your 10 year old cover the taxes, maybe it would be great to break down a leason in economics and taxation,. Just to watch their eyes gloss over. But, obviously you cant go wrong worh the gift card.

My kids love getting to check out the nintendo shop with some money for a game. Makes my heart happy to see them enjoy something i grew up doing as well.

So I purchased this using a "mystery" gift certificate Best Buy sent me that was between $5 and $5,000 (obviously I did not win big, but hey a free $5!). Gift cards are great for multiple reasons including being a good way to use up gift certificates before they expire. I purchased a Nintendo gift certificate because it is a great way to put some credit on my Nintendo account for when I want to make a purchase. More importantly, when I see something I want, I might not have enough cash to make the purchase at the time (bills and all those adulting expenses), but wait! I have a credit, looks like I can get what I want after all even though I'm broke. Awesome.
Also, for you parents out there, I really use these to teach my kids the value of the dollar, making them decide if what they want is good enough to spend their gift cards on.
