I bought this card online through BestBuy's app on my Android phone. I have my Nintendo switch online account linked with Best Buy so it's quite convenient for me to go online and buy a digital currency dollar amount for my Nintendo switch, then I get an email telling me that the purchase went through, and after that I simply go on my Nintendo's online store where my credit has already been applied!

Codes are sent right to your email to access those wish-listed games on the e-shop. Also works good as a gift for the kids.

Nintendo does not discount their first party games often, if at all. If you wish to buy them at a discount, one of the indirect ways to do it is to find one of these cards on sale, then buy the games on their eShop. You can purchase their DLCs this way also, which otherwise even more rarely go on discount.

So quick and easy! They are really quick with getting you your e-card.

Best Buy is one of the few stores to carry the $5 Nintendo cards so I know I can always rely I them for them when I’m in a pinch for a cool skin on Fortnite <3 thank you Best Buy team!

It was so easy to log on to Best Buy's website, purchase the digital eShop credits, and then wait just a few hours for the email to arrive with redemption code. I've done this in the past and sometimes it doesn't even take that long, maybe an hour or two. In any case, I feel more comfortable with this transaction than putting my credit card info on Nintendo's system.

Worked with no problems code came quickly. Have to redeem on Nintendo console not via the web, which is annoying.

For someone smart enough to not put their credit card info into their childs gaming device, prepaid cards are the way to go. I got the code within minutes sent right to my email saving me the hassle of driving to a store.

All we want to do is score bbuy points and any digital purchase starts with the gift card purchase from best buy. Not only do we score points for the purchase, an additional 25 is awarded just for a review! The gift card is just like paying with a credit card but stops if you can't afford it. Buy many... Score additional bbuy points!
