I didn’t feel like going out to a store. This was an easy alternative. I claimed the credit into the e-shop and got the game I wanted in a matter of about 10 minutes.

This is the only way you can do it and merge the redeemed card on MyNintendo acct then merge funds with your mii thats regiatered on your wii u. Don't miss out on Wii U Store purchases before it gets shut down in Mar 2023. There's great stuff that will be gone forever - soon.

Was not worth it bought the Nintendo plus where you get all the dlcs to the games plus this and it makes me still pay for all the dlc

Bought a 10 dollar digital gift card to give to a friend who lives a state away. Ordered it around 8PM EST, arrived the next day around 10AM EST. Not as quick as I hoped, but it worked great. Email code had no problems, and i could easily share the code with my friend over text messages. Would highly recommended as a gift for anyone who has a friend or family member who owns a nintendo switch 1 or 2.

So if you ever paid for your nintendo online membership using your credit card or debit card and got charged any transaction fee or international transaction fee, using Nintendo gift card to pay for it will be beat way to avoid those fee. Just get the amount you need for your membership cost and added it to your account. I don’t know if anyone got extra fee for using bank debit card but I did. Every time I renewed my membership using debit card, I got charged with fee. So this gift card will save you some fee when you renew your membership.

Buying these cards digitally from Bestbuy's website or app are the best way to pay for an impulse buy. You get your card number pretty quickly, and you get BB points toward other purchases. Win, win!
