works great with super smash bros but doesn't work with other games

Great way to play Smash with Game Cube controllers.

Honsetly to think that they released this thing with only smash bros for wii u in mind is pretty sad its essentially $70 for the game if u wanna play it correctly and $100 if u have no gc controllers

Plug it into the Wii U and then plug in your gamecube controllers. Works exactly as you'd expect for Smash 4.

This adapter only works with certain games like super smash bros. If you are looking to use this on all games, be aware that if may not work.

It's impossible for me to get over the fact you can only use this with Smash Bros and yet the PDP pads that plug into the Wii Mote are.... frustrating. Disgusted this can't be used with Mario Kart 8 etc. BUT works as advertised for Smash Bros and price is fair at $19.99 retail. Shame about the early Dec price gouging on these from other online sellers/scammers.

It works just fine and is of high quality but requiring this is a huge oversight on the part of Nintendo. Why would you remove the ports that came standard with the original Wii? Not to mention you can only use it with one game. It should come pre-packaged with either the game itself or the GC controllers. Having to buy it as extra just seems greedy.

Great accessory that is a must. The USB cables could be a bit longer so those using wired controllers can sit further away, but it's been fine so far.

It is good for what it does. They need to let you use it on more games.

Needed this to play Super Smash Brothers in its greatest glory. Works great. Bought controllers with it too and they are very good too.

Great for Wii games and for super Mario smash bros for Wii u

Works well although a few nit picks here and there. It feels somewhat cheap, plasticky, and light. Also requires 2 USB ports. Luckily the Wii U has 4 total allowing for up to 8 GC controllers for 8 Player smash. Also the shipping was delayed for me. Other than that, solid product.

This adapter is for those who love smash and have enjoyed the comfort of melee controls

Bought this because nintendo first said it was going to be used with other games...but only works with smash bros...really wanted it to work with mario kart...still a good product

This lets me use my wavebird controller with new games

It's great, but it needs a little more weight to it. It falls off to easily and the cord pushes it foward. Still glad they did this though.

i get it, it ONLY works with smash bros!!! I wish it worked with more software...that is all.
