    I frankly still can't believe that this thing exists, but Nintendo really hit the nail on the head when they released it. It looks like they might be finally catching up on the scarcity issues they were having, since I see these in stock at my local Best Buy pretty frequently.

    This device is what you want if you want to play SSB WiiU with a good controller. Shame it isn't supported as a standard Classic Controller for other games, but I suppose we might see that as a software update.

    I found this GameCube adapter at my local Best Buy and it was like striking oil. This adapter works flawlessly on the Wii U, Wii, and even on the PC. Considering that these were going for upwards of over $100, I think I was very blessed to find one.

    What can I say? It just feels right to play Smash Bros with the Gamecube controller. If you want to play Smash Bros at its best, you need the gamecube controller which means you need the adapter. The only downside is that it takes two of the Wii U's USB ports.
