The Gamecube Adaptor does one thing: Connects four Gamcube controllers to a Wii U for a proper game of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. There's currently no other games supported, so only pick it up if you Smash best with a Gamecube controller.

The adapter works as advertised and doesn't really have any cons. The only complaint is that Gamecube controllers only worth with Super Smash Bros right now (though that isn't a fault of this product.)

Pretty neat adapter for the Wii U. The best part is that it can be used on PC by installing vJoy drivers for the adapter.

You need this to use the new gamecube controllers. It does extend the reach of the controllers. It is a good buy.

This is a must have for me. I hate that I had to purchase this since it was built into the Wii, but I am glad it is readily available at best buy.

It's hard to find these, but I preordered at Best Buy and got mine reasonably close to the Smash Bros launch so I can't complain. One you do have one, it works perfectly, just like GCN controllers did in Melee and Brawl. They really are a cut above Pro controllers or any other Wii U option.
