I honestly thought this did more. I thought the joycons would charge wirelessly.

Decent pro controller alternative

Pricey considering it’s just a different variation of what’s included in the box of the base system. But it has the pro controllers assignable buttons so if you’re on a budget this works perfectly! Otherwise just get the pro controller

While I haven't had to use this to charge my controllers very much, I enjoy having that function compared to the plain joycon2 grip. The best part is that like the procontroller2 it has mappable buttons on the back of the grip. That feature alone makes it worth to buy and use over the normal grip the system comes with.

This charging grip is very convenient and comfortable to use. It keeps the controllers charged while playing and improves the overall experience. The build quality is great and easy to use.

This isn’t just the same as the standard one tou get in the box. This one has two buttons added to the back that you can map to any button you like. Just like a pro controller. Definitely recommend getting it.

We ended up not needing it because our switch brought one but if your hosting and have multiple people playing on the switch, its a good investment.

Does the job, but it’s such a money grab

This is such a pointless Moneygrab. It should come with the console included. They did this with the original switch and now they did it again with the switch 2!
