Overall great expensive when you buy the controllers as well that my only complaint

Very awesome to charge without having to remove from grip and then put joycons back into the switch tablet. The grip that comes with the Switch does not charge the controllers. The battery in this grip means that you can extend the life of your controller charge well beyond normal playing time. The thing about the Switch is that when you run out of charge, you're kind of left without the ability to play until you get charged back up. With this device, you no longer have that worry. It's worth it, so just get it.

I thought this was a bit pricey but it is definitely worth the investment if you have your Switch hooked up to a TV. It is also great to hold a second set of Joy-cons to play with friends. In my case it is particularly helpful since the Switch is not in an easy to access place and I play for extended periods of time so recharging the controllers by connecting to the console is not as practical. If you buy this, take into account that it comes with the USB-C cable to charge the controller but not with a converter to plug into the wall!

Works just like the original device included with the switch, but with the added benefit of charging. If you have more than one set of joycons and no external charger/dock this is a must have. One thing that was not obvious to me before purchase was if the device would charge the joycons without being plugged in? The answer is no, it will only charge when conned to power. Not a big deal as I essentially use it as a docked charger when not in use. A power cord (USB C) is provided, but no charging brick.

My family loves the ease of use in the charging of the Switch controllers. A-PLUS device!

This charging grip is so convenient and has a good grip. Really enjoying it. Love that it is charging as well.

This is the Joy Con grip that should of came with the switch and not just the dumb grip. It gives you a better grip on the controllers with the benefit of being able to charge the controllers with out putting them on the switch.

The thing that does suck about the switch when you first get it is that the controller is comes with does not charge which is frustrating so picking this up is a must if you like playing the joy cons as an actual gaming controller. The nice thing about this is you can charge it from your switch dock and keep this plugged in so the joy-cons attached to it are always charged vs plugging them into the switch and switching them out for another pair of joy cons.

This grip is way better than the one that came with the console. It charges the joy con controllers and has awesome battery life. Perfect

Purchased this for my extra set of controllers. It works well and does it’s job. Charges the controllers too.

In my personal opinion, this is a must-have accessory if you typically only have the joy-cons as your main controllers. It allows you to keep playing your game while charging them whereas the grip they normally come with is for ergonomic purposes only. Though, of course, the downside is that you cannot charge the controller and still use one joy-con as a one-player since the buttons along the area connecting the controller to the charger will be covered.

Have an extra set of controllers and needed a way to charge them. This works great and provides a nice grip too.

While the Nintendo Switch's Joy-cons have amazing battery life. I like the convenience of being able to charge while I play with the Switch docked.

Great item to allow joy cons function as a normal controller. Also makes it easier to charge multiple joy con pairs at once.

This is a must for anyone who purchases the switch. It is an easy way to keep your joycons charged. Surprisingly it has a good feel too.
