Great way to keep extra joycons charged. Works great as a controller too.

Have yet to really use this since I purchase a Pro controller as well... It is a nice option to have for a second controller. Battery like on Joycons last long already... But the grip is nice.

These I would say are a must. The ability to charge your joy cons without purchasing a dock (which basically just charges your joy cons with no other functionality)is nice. It doesn't replace a regular controller, but its a nice compromise (alternatively, I've seen some of the "Fat" joy con style grips you can buy for yourself, and most of them are fairly flimsy). Be aware the grip that comes with your switch is not a charging grip, its basically just a shell, and its lighter than this one.

I am very pleased with this remote. It extends game play quite a bit longer. The quality and materials are well worth the price point. I would buy this again, and recommend to friends.

Helps those of used to being pampered by the highly-engineered controllers for the other consoles. Should've been included with the system (e.g. it will charge the joy-cons).

Excellent joy con grip! THIS should've been included originally with the Switch console (the joy con grip that comes with the Switch console upon purchase doesn't charge the joy cons). The grip charges joy cons very quickly and efficiently and it's comfortable to hold when playing games even for longer periods of time. Definitely worth the purchase.

My Switch is hooked up to the TV full time, and actually sits behind the TV, otherwise it would block the screen. The charging grip keeps me from having to reach back there and dock the joy cons. Another plus is you can use the grip while its plugged into the wall charging (but you have to provide the USB to AC adapter). The price is reasonable, but it would have been nice if Nintendo included the charging grip instead of the regular one.

It’s a good grip for using with two controllers and even better that it has charge port on the top of it. The charge port is why I bought it and can be plugged into a wall outlet with a block(sold separately) or into the switch console dock as it comes with the charge cable. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it feels a little on the cheaper side. My wife is the only one who uses it and the controllers stay in the grip all the time so it will not wear out too fast, but for a kid I can see it breaking quickly.

This is actually surprisingly nice and feels very comfortable to hold, at least for me. Charging time for the joycons is greatly reduced, as with this addition they last about a week of 2 hours play a day without a recharge. I should explain that even though I'm in my 30's my hands are generally much smaller than the average controller is built for, so having something high quality, that doesn't cramp my hands.

This charger is great and the fact hat is doubles as a controller with the joy-cons makes it better.

Too bad this charging hand grip doesn't come with the actual console or with the purchase of a second controller but what it saves in battery costs makes it more than worth it.

this makes using the joycons sooooo much easier to use as i play animal crossing! I dont understand why it wouldn't come with the console but I get the need to make more money! Three controller turns your joycons into an ergonomic singly controller , the button layout is a adjustment to get used to but fast better than the plain joycon in my opinion.
