Shoulder buttons have a flawed design that prevents shoulder buttons to work. I put a piece of tape to help but it still has too much travel and buttons don't work. @@@@@ Massive complaints on YouTube also.

Works like it should, the top buttons are finicky if it's not seated properly, hence 4 star.

Buttons could use a little more "click" to them, in my opinion, but everything works as it should.

Better than cramping up your hands trying to hold one joy con but the shoulder buttons are a bit mushy. Holds the joy con the best out of the 3 wheels I've tried

A little hard for small hands to get to the top buttons, but, overall makes it easier for them to play. As an adult I prefer the dual joycons or advanced wireless

Good in a pinch but not as good as a full set

It works in a pinch for the kids to do a 2 player game but the lack of 2nd controller and he associated buttons makes it harder to play. My kid gave up and we ended up buying another full set of controllers.

The wheels are nice for racing games. They're not perfect, and could use a few changes around the SL and SR buttons, but at the same time two wheels for this price is a decent deal.

Makes using a single joy con easier.

It is the best way to play because it makes it more comfortable to handle the joy con. I have big hands and sometimes it is hard to find all the buttons with two adult sized hands.

    Small, but well built

These are hilariously small compared to the Wii, but given the switches controller size, it actually helps bulk up the tiny controller. Only reason this doesn't have a 5 star (besides the size) is that the shoulder buttons are really "squishy". You will need to add a felt sticker to give it some padding to add responsiveness.

These are ok. The built quality is very good and they do look really good. But as you might of read in other comments the shoulder buttons travel is a bit too much than it should be.

I purchased these to play mk8 on the switch. The accuracy of the steering is poor and the contact of the shoulder buttons is woeful. My 5 year old enjoys them and they are inexpensive so I gave it 2 stars.

    Avoid These Wheels

I bought these wheels for use with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on my Switch. Very surprised to find that this official Nintendo product had a very serious flaw: The triggers have to be pushed very far to hit the buttons (SL and SR). It doesnt sound like that big of a deal, but it's VERY distracting and results in lots of missed button pushes. That'll cause missed item use, missed power slides, etc. And if you're holding a item behind you with the Left trigger, its easy to accidentally let up the pressure just a SMALL amount and cause the item to be release. It's not good. Nintendo usually doesn't have problems like this, but I was quite disappointed with this product. There are much better options out there if you keep looking. I will be returning these to Best Buy today, as I have already found a much better 3rd party wheel for my switch.

I was hoping that these would make playing games with a single Joy-Con a lot more comfortable, but they only help a little bit. The shoulder buttons feel a bit stiff as well. But hey, it is still better than using the Joy-Con completely alone. And they're not too expensive.

I bought these largely so my 3 year old could play Mario Kart with me as a treat once in a while. For him, they are excellent, as he has at least a small chance of steering properly instead of trying to aim the single joy-con at the tv like a remote (sigh). However for me, I am not a fan - the shoulder buttons feel mushy and unresponsive. I will probably add a small piece of foam under the shoulder buttons to help as I've read online, but these could certainly be better.

These wheels are a much needed attachment as the joycons are difficult to hold without them. One of the wheel worked very well. The 2nd one has issues when trying to click the back right button. Seems to be a manufacturing flaw and the joycon is fine. Otherwise works great

Don't recommend at all. I hope they fixed the issue. The triggers are to high and hardly work as should be since does not connect to the joycons have to push very hard down tiggers in order for it to push buttons down on joycons. We don't used them at all because of this. The steering wheel is small for small hands or young kids only.

Unlike the Joy Con straps that came with the Switch system, these wheels for the Joy Cons have giant comfortable should buttons. On top of that, the wheel I found was fun to use with motion controls, a feature I rarely use nowadays. There's unfortunately one small problem. While you can see your actions work on the screen when using the shoulder buttons, when you actually press the button, it doesn't feel completely like you pressed the button. There's no clicky-ness to the feel, unlike when using the straps which seem to have a better press to them. It's entirely possible to get used to the feel of the wheel's shoulder buttons, but you may end up doing a quick mod like Nintendo Life did and showed in their YouTube video: How to Fix the Problem with Joy-Con Steering Wheels for Nintendo Switch | Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

I fell in love with these the moment I put the joy-con in them! Not sure what some of the fuss about missing drifts is, because I literally have never had this issue. This device makes it so much easier to use horizontal joy-cons that I will use them on ANY game that splits them apart. The huge triggers in the back make it impossible to miss the SL and SR buttons, and although they do have a decent amount of travel, I still never have any issues. Like I stated above, this product will be great for any game you will play with horizontal joy-cons! Not just Mario Kart
