    Bonus AR Cards

This is a great alternative to using a credit card for Nintendo's eShop. You also get 2 AR cards to use with the 3DS (Koopa Troopa and a "?" card). The AR cards work with the Photos with Mario app that is available free on the eShop. Additionally, the AR cards can interact with other cards from the same series. I would say this is a better alternative than getting the other eShop cards that don't come with AR cards. Finally, for the collectors out there, the Koopa Troopa card is suppose to be a Best Buy exclusive; at least at the time I purchased it.

Need to add funds to your eShop balance but don't want to give up your credit card number? Then here's your answer! This really is exactly what it says on the label. All you need to do is scratch the back of the card to reveal the code (a coin works best, ideally a dime or quarter), input that code into the eShop, and done. Also, due to a recent system update, you can now split the funds between your 3DS and WiiU, despite what the card might say. There's a lot of great games on the eShop, so this is a must for any 3DS or WiiU owner, not to mention a great gift to give one!

What can be said about this item? Well, here goes. 1) It's an eShop card. 2) It has value. 3) The redemption code worked. 4) I paid less than face value for it due to a limited-time promotion. All of those things are true, and it easily met expectations. There's really no way for an item like this to exceed my expectations, because either it works or it doesn't. Although, I suppose it does exceed expectations because of the promotion. There. It exceeds expectations. A great deal when it comes around, otherwise, I'd probably just add money through my console.

Goes a long way on the Switch Eshop

These cards could not be easier to redeem using the Switch system, and frankly there is a wealth of quality digital content available to anyone looking to expand their Switch library. $10 goes a long way, and even if you're like me and prefer to buy physical games as much as possible, there is no shortage of digitally exclusive material (e.g. "Kamiko" at only $5, the latest "Shovel Knight" chapter as well as "Blaster Master Zero" at only $10 each, etc.) that a card like this can enable you to purchase with ease. Go for it!

I buy these prepaid cards for use on my 3DS XL. Not only is it easy to add the value of the prepaid card into my account (through the 3DS), it also has two rather nifty benefits. For one, it's a simple alternative to having to store credit/banking information in my Nintendo account, or having to re-enter that information each time I want to add funds. But probably more importantly, if you are a Best Buy Rewards member, you also get the points, while retaining the flexibility of buying whatever you want with the funds you now have in your Nintendo account. :)

Basically, you buy this card and use the code inside to add points to your NIntendo eShop account. But it also comes with this little goomba AR card, which is a neat little bonus. Either way, it can be purchased using your Best Buy rewards certificate, so it's a good way to spend that $5 without having to spend a whole lot on something you might not really want. The only thing I don't understand is why they don't just use a QR code instead of making you type the code in manually. Wii U and 3DS both come equipped with cameras. Why not use them?

The code on the back will give you $10 to spend on anything in the Nintendo eShop, obviously, but what's special about these is that they also come with "special" AR cards that let you play with select Mario characters with the Nintendo 3DS' cameras. It doesn't look like it, but the AR card is folded inside the main card, with a little diagram showing how to use it with the 3DS. It's a neat little bonus, and gives at least *some* kind of reason to buy these cards, but that's probably not what you're really interested in buying in the end.

Nintendo has done it again! You can now buy these Eshop Credits to import into your 3DS/Wii U Nintendo account and purchase games digitally! best of all is I was able to buy all the classic NES/SNES/SEGA GENESIS Games that they offer so far through the Eshop and I now have more games than I can even find time to play! But I'm an Uber driver and I go on the road with my band, so with my downtime I no longer am bored waiting, I just play any of my favorite games, whatever mood I'm in that day, it's perfect!!!!!!

I admit that I am a Nintendo fanboy. I love purchasing Nintendo eShop cards so that I can get classic games or DLC for my existing games. They are convenient and safer than typing in your credit card number. If you are a nostalgic gamer who loves to play the classics, then you should buy eShop cards. If you are a gamer who wants all of the DLC possible to enhance your gameplay, then you should buy eShop cards. Make sure that your Wii U or 3DS is connected to the Internet before you purchase the cards. Have fun, and GAME ON!

These cards help you get great games and control your budget, and I like having this option rather than storing or sending out credit card information online. I also like that I get rewards points with Nintendo _and_ Best Buy (I actually used Best Buy rewards points for this particular purchase)! If you do not have capacity on a good SD card, the physical cartridges are better. Also, it is very important that you use a hard, flat item to make the number appear in order to avoid having the actual numbers getting scratched off.

I love to collect all Nintendo Items, and this card is great it has Luigi on it, even after redeem it I keep it for Luigi. This Card let you add a balance on your Nintendo eShop purchases without the need of a credit card, this is great if you are not confident on give away your CC number or maybe to control the amount of credit your kids have to purchase their games. My advice is to get this cards when they go on sale and combine it when there are good sales on the eShop, this way you can score amazing deals!

I buy Nintendo eshop points whenever I can to purchase new eshop games, especially ones that are quick ones to pick up on my 3DS or Wii U. eshop points are easy to apply and use, and I like buying prepaid cards to avoid putting my credit card information into electronic shops attached to a mobile device, and because my kids sometimes access it, too. In this case I used these points to buy Blaster Master Zero, which is a great reimagining of the classic 2D platformer from the NES days.

I chose this card specifically to purchase a new pass for Pokémon Bank. After buying that I had a few dollars to work with, so I bought a couple themes for the Home Menu. I would recommend this for small purchases such as the aforementioned things, but most games cost more than this. Just make sure you have enough to pay for what you want, and sales tax (if applicable).

The only problem I have is not with the card itself or even Best Buy. It's just that it would be nice if Nintendo had a unified shop for all 4 of their systems. I know that Wii and DSi use Nintendo points cards and that Wii U and 3DS use eShop points, but once you use it on one system, it stays on that system. It would be nice if you could combine points across all 4 systems, or even just the two they work on.

Not much can be said when it comes to gift cards, especially gaming ones that are console exclusive. You get what you pay for, $10 in Nintendo eShop currency. But there actually is a plus! This giftcard like a few certain others come with a special AR card to use with your 3DS camera. The neat thing is that they are Mario themed and have a pretty good assortment of characters to choose from. This alone makes it worth the while over soley using digital on purchases. See if you can collect them all!

Pro: You know why you buy it, Nintendo has lots of great games in Wii U and 3DS platform. In stead of directly buying games and add-ons with your credit card, buying this prepared card from best buy, you get mybestbuy rewards points, and sometimes you can buy it cheaper through promotion. Con: 1. Of cause, it won't work with Wii and DSi, which might cause some confusion. 2. When scratching off the covered code, be careful not scratch off the redemption code. 3. They should make the 0 and O more clearer to figure out.

If you want to buy games off the e-Shop, chances are you know what this is. Pretty self explanatory. I will say this; these are a very useful way of avoiding credit theft on your device. If you have an account with Nintendo, and someway, some how, somebody stole your 3DS with a registered credit card on file, there is the possibility of a paper trail. Cards are one way to avoid this possibility. Get these when they have a 10-20% discount to bump your account, then wait for digital sales!

    Giftcard for Wii U Purchases

After reading numerous horror stories of gaming console networks being hacked and user information stolen a few years back, I decided to purchase gift cards and apply them to my nintendo account. Once applied, I'm able to make purchases on the nintendo eShop, which works like a charm. It shows the remaining balance on the gift card after each purchase. I would recommend this strategy to anyone who is cautious about storing their financial information on certain networks.

I'm not sure how to fully review this since it's difficult to have issues with a product like this. I paid $20 to purchase $20 in Nintendo eshop credit. The only thing I could potentially fault here is the inability to purchase a digital code, but since the product clearly indicates that it's a physical card that will be shipped... I can't reasonably deduct a star. The code worked as expected when it arrived and I now have $20 in virtual currency on my eshop.

The $10 eshop card is great if you're trying to buy small things on the 3ds like Mii Plaza, or other virtual console (e.g. legacy games) and the micro transactions. If you're planning on buying a newer video game, I'd recommend the $35 or $50 dollar card (depending on if you're getting a 3ds or Wii U game). If you're short on funds, you have the option of inserting your credit card number to pay the difference (on the console for 1 time transaction). Very convenient!
