    A Thankless Gift

I don't know the game, but I know it keeps kids entertained and away from social interaction with the real world. That is ok, unless they need to do something in the real world. Like talk to you or even thank you for the gift. The positive is that I didn't have put much effort into buying or wrapping this gift and in the end I never received acknowledgement that they ever knew I gave it to them. Well I am sure they enjoyed some gold coins that allowed them to buy something they won't remember or care about because these items have no value in the real world and the games are tossed aside after a few weeks, when they want more stuff because they are bored with the old stuff. Oh well, turns out they had fun and I guess that is what is important.

For those who own a Wii U and/or a 3DS and like to download games valued at small prices, this $10 eShop card is great for making these small purchases, including Virtual Console games and certain eShop exclusive titles. Depending on the prices of certain titles, the average number of possible purchases with the $10 eShop card can range from 2-3. However, I would not recommend the $10 value for those who wish to purchase titles that are priced at greater than $10, including digital versions of retail games. Overall, this eShop card is great for those who want make small purchases at low prices. For those who want to purchase digital versions of retail games, however, I recommend purchasing an eShop card priced at $50 instead of $10.

Eshop prepaid cards are a waste of paper.

I think Nintendo should have a add your own amount prepaid card. If there is one then please forgive me for not doing my research ahead of this review but the reason I feel this way is bc sometimes I don't want to spend a whole x amount on a eshop card just to make a digital purchase. I don't like to use my debit or credit card on file either so probably that would be a better obvious solution, but just saying for the meantime I'd like to refill my card hmm lets with 3 or 7 dollars at a time. Maybe I'm really in the mood to drop a hundo on it since videogames aren't cheap.. but then I would still have to get another prepaid card for the taxes if I bout two games at 59.99

Great to be able to access to older titles. However, there is little incentive to buy digital versus physical games for newer titles with regard to price (physical games can frequently be found on sale and/or used). Additionally, the fact that the games are still tied to the actual console instead of individual accounts (as with PSN, steam, or XBL) is annoyingly perplexing in this day and age.

It's a very basic code card. I think the code on the back is too small and it's very easy for the code to be scratched off along with the stuff you scratch off. It would be nice if there was a scratch off QR code on the back so you didn't have to type out the code. The art on the front is ok, I guess. It's nothing special.

I got this card with a few specific classic Gameboy games in mind. The Nintendo Shop was actually not a very easy interface to use but I eventually found my old games I wanted for my 3DS. Might be better off just buying cartridge games for your family.

Card is perforated to tear off (one side ends up looking off because of it) and is made of such cheap paper that it's easy to tear the card while ripping the perforation. Don't buy for AR card; they're junk. Buy for eshop only.

Only reason this gets a lower score is due to the fact there isn't an option for a digital code. You have to get a card with a code on it (whether in-store or shipped to you). Otherwise, pretty straight forward

Exactly what it says on the card, card that says you have $50 worth of credit to use on the Nintendo eShop when you type in the code. Allows you to avoid having to link a credit card to your Nintendo account if that matters to you.

Converted $10 cash to $10 nintendo money. If that is what you are looking for then this is perfect. The ar card is nothing special but is a nice added bonus since most giftcards do not have anything other than money.

If you are looking for a gift for an owner of a Nintendo game system then this might be the item you want. Instead of asking what games they like, the gift card will allow them to purchase whatever they want.

I had bought several cards in the past and never had a problem, until this time, a guy who gave me my online order didn't activate the card, and I had to return to the Store and ask for an exchange, it was a bad experience.

I was looking for a way to avoid having to input my credit card number on the nintendo eshop so I decided to get this card. The problem is that this was the lowest dollar denomination available, more than I wanted to spend.

Ten dollars is not that much, bit to makes this card somewhat worth it with an AR card of a Nintendo character. It is annoying that you have to download an application to use the card. It still is neat, though.

This is good for people who don't have credit cards to directly buy games on the eshop. Best Buy will often have it on sale, too! For example, I got this for 42 dollars instead of 50.
