I purchased two of the new gamecube controllers and am very happy with them. They don't seem to have any differences from the old ones.

These controllers work great! I have 2 of them and have almost the same feel as the original Gamecube Controllers they made back in the day. The length of the wire is also extra long which works out great because my friend's couch is a tad far from the TV. Highly recommended for old school Smash Players.

The GameCube controller is one of my all-time favorites! I'm thrilled that Nintendo continues to support it in Smash Bros. While it's unfortunate that it only works with that game (and that a separate adaptor is required to use it) it's still the best way to play. Highly recommended!

The controller is perfect super smash brothers. Makes playing the game a much better experience.

My old Wavebirds were getting a little worn, so this controller was exactly what I was was looking for. Not wireless of course, but rumble is in tact, and the control stick and buttons feel as though I just pulled it out of the package in 2001.

When Nintendo announced the decision to bring this style of controller back, I was glad. It looks and feels the same as the originals did. A game like Super Smash requires, the feel of a traditional controller, not the light ones that Nintendo made for the WiiU.

Works good for the Wii reminds me of playing the game cube.

There are other controllers out there but I highly recommend the Nintendo version as it appears to be so far very robust. Other non-Nintendo controllers have given up while this one delivers.

When I heard that this controller was launching alongside the new Super Smash Bros. game, I was very excited. I like to use this for both Smash Wii U as well as when I play my Gamecube!

Good Game Cube controller, stinks that you cannot plug it into the Wii mote.

Mostly use this for old Gamecube games on the (old) Wii, but it's a solid controller. No sticky buttons, and no signs of early wear (I've put around 60 hours on it so far).

Bought this for super smash bros. throwing the controller when I lose just like old times. There is an additional adapter you need in order for this to work. Just be aware.
