Super Smash is back and this control works great with it. Easy to handle.

I've had a lot of GameCube controllers from back in the early 2000s and some of them are damaged or just worn down over the time of constant use. I'm so happy that Nintendo decided to bring back this classic controller so that we can play Smash 4 with fresh new controllers.

Works great and feels exactly like the old GameCube controllers.

I love this controller it makes Smash Bros so much greater. The only down side is that I wish it it could be used for other games.

I was surprised when I received the controller. The cord was the length of the white Japanese controller which is almost 3 times the length of the controller I grew up with. The quality was also higher than I expected.

If you were a hardcore smash player on the GameCube , you'll definitely want to be using this controller to bring back the good old memories. THE MAIN THING IS YOU MUST BUY THE CONTROLLER ADAPTER!!!! in order to use it. But other than that awsoime controller.

Good item but the only thing is tmat it does not come with the adapter to connect from the controller to the Wii U device

You can't go wrong playing Smash Bros with this controller. Although the shoulder buttons do not have the same feel as the original GameCube versions, it suffices. A standard for local tournaments, as the pro controller causes sync issues if people don't bring their connector cord.

I just wanted to put this review out there because it was difficult to find some information on this before I bought it. This is a Gamecube controller that is manufactured by Nintendo it has the original Gamecube connector and you will need one of the adapters to use it with a Wii U. Now with that out of the way this is great controller. Exactly like the one you got with the GC when you first got it, except it has some Smash Brother's branding on it. I bought 2 of these to supplement my controller complement as I only have 2 originals left over and got the 2 year replacement plan and they work like a dream.

This is in my opinion the best controller to use for playing Super Smash Bros. The only thing I think it is missing is that it isn't wireless. You need the gamecube adapter for the Wii U, but this control format is much easier to excel at than the other available controllers.
