    The Game cube controller has always been the ideal way to play smash brothers. Your old controllers will work but this limited edition is a nice addition to your collection.

    Brand new Gamecube controllers in this decade? What more can be said? I use four of these for Smash Bros on the Wii U and on my PC with the gamecube adapter for Dolphin emulator. I'm very happy with them.

    I'm not even sure "replica" is the right word, since it comes straight from Nintendo. It has the same weight and feel as the original Gamecube controller. Perfect for Melee-era Smash players.

    I played this for a few minutes on a Wii. Amazing, it actually works and feels like an original GameCube controller. If your old GC controllers are breaking down, grab these as replacements.

    The Smash Emblem looks great and it truly is the original Gamecube controller. It is the exact same mold and parts so if you want a special Smash edition controller or just a new Gamecube controller than this one is just fine. I thought the longer cord would be an improvement, but honestly it just kept getting tangled up for me. It would be perfect for Eight Player Smash however.

    this controller is classic and great! i love it, it just wasn't clear that i would need to purchase an adapter with the controller so that i would be able to play with the gamecube controller on my Wii U. do not forget the adapter. as always thank you best buy for having the best prices around! :)

    I bought this cause I had older gamecube controllers and they were beginning to not work that well so I bough the new smash bros one and they are pretty amazing!

    I play smash 4 every weekend with several friends and this allows us to play with more friends. Even though the packaging was all torn up, the controller worked great.
