What to say it works the switch 2 frames it ok, placement is a little difficult but it might not get used very much

I recently bought this camera for the Nintendo Switch 2 from Best Buy. Overall, the camera works well and feels very solid — the build quality is excellent and it has a nice weight to it, which makes it feel premium. However, when projecting the camera feed on the Switch 2 screen, only half of the image is displayed. I’m not sure if this is a software issue or something related to compatibility. Despite this, I’m satisfied with the product so far and hope a future update might fix the display problem.

The camera itself doesn’t struggle much to pick up on your face, and the image quality isn’t terrible. The price however would and should cause hesitation. There are very few games, especially at the moment, that utilize the camera functionality. Even then, it’s simple and gimmicky. If you don’t foresee yourself using the consoles new chat features, I wouldn’t spring for this.

It works and looks really good and it shows good quality

I pre-ordered this gor my Switch 2. It came the same day I ordered it! My delivery driver was super nice. I plugged it in to my Switch 2 and it worked as described in the product description. This was a blast to pkay with the family and brought back are family gamw nights. Do I recommend? Yeah I do! Go and buy the Switch 2 camera if you want to enhance your switch 2 experience!

So cool to be able to see you face during gameplay. Works well even with multiple people in the room.

Good build quality just Not worth the money, very low quality camera for the price it’s 720p. It’s 2025, do better nintendo

I have used this twice to play mario party with my kids and some family. They enjoyed the replays after the game but it often missed the moments because it doesn’t do any tracking, it just has you put a circle around your face that doesn’t adjust when you move, and kids are always moving, which is annoying. Overall its fun. Great field of view to see an entire room and quality is good enough to see your fun moment

Good peripheral product. Is lighter than what I thought was going to be but it's very stable and does what it's supposed to do.

The camera for switch 2 is a mixed bag in terms of use. Either you can use it for game chat calls or for games such as Mario party jamboree switch 2 edition plus jamboree tv. The camera itself is 1080p and has a shutter cover for when you’re not using it which helps with privacy advocates. The only downside to this camera is that it may not get enough use depending on your situation and how many people are willing to buy a switch 2

Decent camera for switch 2, smaller than expected but for want it does decent quality

Pros: USB-C, incredibly wide angle view, isolates multiple players on the couch into separate views during split screen for games like Mario Kart Cons: Short cable, incredibly grainy video quality which is made even worse when zoomed in on multiple faces

Easy plug and play camera that just works with the switch 2. Not super high quality but in line with usb cameras at that price point.

Honestly it’s a really good camera, just lacks in value, not too many games use it and I can’t see myself using it much outside of the Switch 2.

The Nintendo Switch 2 camera is a total win! It’s sharp, quick, and super easy to use—perfect for selfies, goofy pics, and chatting with friends. It adds a fun, personal touch that makes the Switch 2 even more awesome. Nintendo crushed it!

Fun interactive accessory to the Switch 2. It's not perfect but playing compatible games is fun, you're able to see people's reactions and being able to communicate without the use of a third party app is nice. Hopefully more games support it in the future.

This camera is amazing. I have never before had a webcam that so perfectly picks up my voice from a distance and filters out background noise. I'm not sure how much of that work is done on the Switch 2 vs onboard the webcam, but it works like magic.

It's pretty cool. A bit of a novelty, but Nintendo is good at that sort of thing. The new mario party has some fun minigames that use this accsessory
