This console is absolutely breathtaking! The gold is very classy and makes it a very nice piece of decor for my home. The OLED screen makes colors pop so much. I have always wanted a Zelda edition console, and I am super stoked this version came out. The box, the dock, the console, everything is perfection. I had to get a screen protector right away for the flawless screen. I was like, uh uh, I ain’t touching it without protection. Can’t afford any scratches or marks on this expensive item.

Amazing Speical Edition, the coloring on the joycons just fits so well. Although the design on the back of the switch is minimalistic I still feel it works great here. The dock is also so gorgeous it feels very pristine with its white and gold color scheme. The OLED screen is also awesome for handheld gameplay and really makes the colors pop. Would definitely recommend this switch to anyone upgrading or if they are picking one up for the first time!

Sold my white oled for this one. As i am a Legend of Zelda fan. Like it on the go especially during downtime for work. Great battery life even though i use a battery pack for it. Upgrade storage capacity better than the others. I say still recommend to have a sd card. Also, oled has a great brighter and wide screen. Last of all is the better wide kickstand than the others. So yeah as really great to have and ready to face tears of the kingdom.

The Nintendo Switch V1 on Christmas day in 2017 became my immediate favorite console worldwide. The sense of wonder, freedom, and fun the system gave me was immense. And now here I am years later, still loving the console and taking the plunge on buying the biggest revision the Switch has had since the launch of the system... the OLED screen! And I'll be honest, the OLED Screen makes SO much more of a difference than I was expecting it to if I'm entirely honest, I love playing in the portable mode now more than I have the entire time of owning the original Switch! And this is the first time of owning a video game console that's based after a video game so it's got even extra points for me. Honestly, love this console more and it's revived my love for video games in general. Do I recommend upgrading from the V1 switch to the OLED like I did? Not really, there's not enough changes in my opinion to upgrade to the OLED if there's nothing wrong with your current switch honestly. But if you're in the same boat has me where your system got damaged beyond repair, this is a great option to instantly shoot for!

Beautiful System! I upgraded from the OG Switch to this Special Edition version. I have always been a HUGE Zelda fan and I knew I just had to have this! I am so impressed by the bigger screen size, and improved kickstand in the back. Now I don’t have to worry about it falling over. The OLED screen is truly beautiful, and the best part it doesn’t hurt my eyes when I play for a long time. If you’re a Zelda fan, get this!

Gorgeous console. Joysticks are a bit small. Needs more storage. I do hope the next game is more like Ocarina, TP or Windwaker. You get these massive playgrounds which are great fun but they start feel samey. Zelda games are supposed to be full of character and about exploration. If I can guess that whats around the corner is another seed, korok or a specific type of quest then that deafeats the exploration.

Loving it so far. We bought an original switch in 2018 and it was getting pretty beat up. I debated about buying another switch, but it has been worth it. The OLED screen is great. I like that this one is actually bigger and feels sturdier. I don't know if the specs are supposed to be better, but it seems like this switch just works better overall.

Having owned the first release switch since mid 2019 (before even the new model came out with the updated battery life) the OLED is a game changer!! On top of the custom graphics matching the new Zelda aesthetic beautifully, the OLED screen makes playing games feel brand new! The colors and screen size go a long way in making an amazing experience overall.

If you're on the fence about buying this, do it! The OLED model is a big upgrade from the original switch. The screen is much larger and the battery last a long while. I always tend to buy the limited design consoles over the standard versions, so when I saw that there was a Zelda version, I had to jump on it and I'm glad I did!

An excellent upgrade from my original Nintendo Switch. The better video quality and graphics are especially noticeable when playing undocked. A lot of minor issues with the original switch have been fixed on the OLED such as a significantly better kickstand for tabletop play. The Zelda design is so sleek, too.

Overall an amazing design, well built, and beautiful Switch. Huge upgrade from the original Switch. The OLED screen is amazing and great for handheld mode. The variable position kickstand is so much better as well. Actually useable with the kickstand. Highly recommend to anyone considering it.

Man, this console is gorgeous! As soon as I saw the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom OLED Switch, I knew I had to get it. The gold details and iconic symbols make any Zelda fan go crazy! The OLED screen is on another level — super vibrant colors, deep contrast, and everything just looks amazing, especially in handheld mode. Exploring Hyrule has never looked this good. The Joy-Cons match the Zelda theme perfectly, and they feel great to hold. The sound is louder and clearer, the adjustable stand is super handy, and the whole thing just feels like a collector’s dream. It doesn’t come with the game, but honestly? The look and vibe of this edition alone are worth it. If you’re a Zelda fan or just want a Switch that stands out, go for it! Highly recommend!

This is the very first Nintendo switch I have ever bought and I think it’s absolutely amazing and a very beautiful handheld.The Nintendo games are the best for anyone who group up in the 90s. The games bring back so many memories from my child hood. The Nintendo subscription is very cheap also 20$ for minimum or 50$ for everything which I recommend you get all the classics. The switch feels very durable and the oled screen is beautiful if you have never had a switch before I recommend buying this especially if you have a wife,it allows you to play classic games together that anyone can play at any skill level. The kingdom of tears edition is also perfect for collectors or Zelda fans in general I couldn’t recommend this anymore it’s a must buy. Though if you have big hands like i do I recommend getting a pro controller it really helps and it’s awesome when hooked up to your tv.

OLED makes a big difference compared to the regular switch. The zelda themed one i purchased is sutle yet stands out in a good way. Its perfect for travel or the times when tou want to lay in bed to play. The variety of ways to play be it with joy cons attached, detached joy cons by themselves or with the controller attachment for them with the switch on its kick stand.or projecting to the tv makes it super versatile. Whether projecting to tv or simply having the joycons detached the have an incredible battery that even to this day havent had them die on me. All day gaming sessions are great. Highly recommend and games that are great for all ages!

This Model is elegant and eye catching. Love the design, colors and solid build. The OLED display in hand held is of the highest quality. I also love the battery life and smart features this model provides. I highly recommended it for everyone!

This ToTK switch is beautiful! The white is pearlescent and the gold detailing is stunning. I upgraded to the OLED model after having my og switch from launch day. The kickstand is now wider as it takes the whole lower back half instead of a small inch wide stand. The speakers are noticably louder, the OLED screen is gorgeous and vibrant, touch response is great, joycons are stiff and click into place nicely. The new OLED docks have a depressed USBC port unlike the original. The textures printed into this edition feel great in the hand and help with grip in your hands. Overall I am incredibly happy with this new switch! I cannot wait to play ToTK on 5/12!!

The OLED Switch but custom made for us Zelda fans! This version is awesome, I upgraded from a OLED Switch but this one surprised me in one way. They are functionally the same, but the design on the body of the Tears of the Kingdom special edition Switch here actually helps with the gripping of the console for me when I am playing in handheld mode, which is how I play Switch 98% of the time. Not a huge change from an OLED Switch otherwise and no real reason to upgrade from it, but if you do not have a OLED Switch, this is the best version you can get. As far as Switch as a whole, for todays gaming they are still great, has a great library and is one of my favorite consoles of all time if not the best. But they have been underpowered for a long time already and in 2025 its more apparent than ever with all the PC handhelds and Switch 2 available so don’t expect graphics on par with recent handhelds.

I had been waiting since Breath of the Wild came out in 2017 for there to be a Zelda-themed Switch. When I saw this one was revealed, I pre-ordered it immediately. After having it for almost a month now, it is one of the most beautiful special edition Switches I've ever seen, let alone hold in my hands. The gold Joy-Con with their respective white and green accents look amazing in real life, as well as the white Dock emblazoned with the various Zelda iconography. The OLED screen also looks crisp and vibrant. Definitely worth the pick up if you're a Zelda fan looking to upgrade from an original Switch (especially if you owned a 2017 launch day Switch like me, haha). Overall, this Switch is great and looks so good next to the Skyward Sword themed Joy-Con too.
