While Nintendo doesn't offer monthly games like Xbox or Playstation, there's a surprising amount of benefits to a very affordable subscription. I've spent hours and hours playing old SNES classics and can get lost for days in online play on Mario Kart.

This was a great purchase. Ive been using this one a bit more than I should lol. Nevertheless, its been a great buy and Id recommend to anyone looking to purchase an online subscription.

I primarily use the online membership for tetris99 and Mario35 when it was available, but have used it in a limited fashion for other games. If you want to play multi-player games online or co-op with friends, then it is necessary to have a membership, but if you play primarily single-player games, then there is little added value having the online membership. Therefore, the value of the membership truly depends on the games that you have and play, as well as your desired play-style. Depending on the game, most of my experiences with online play are that it can be difficult and frustrating due to the fact that I have limited time to devote to games and have long periods where I cannot play. As such, when I have tried to participate in online content I have been quite bad, but that is no one's fault but mine. That is not to say that there is anything wrong with that, and I am not condemning the "fairness" of the games at all! I tend to think modifications to gameplay intended to impact "scaling" are usually unsuccessful, and can hurt those who enjoy the games the most. In summary: 1) If you are the one who owns and plays the games, you probably know if this is beneficial for you, or 2) if you are looking to purchase this as a gift for someone else, it is best to ask them or someone who knows what they play if this is of interest for them.

Owning a Nintendo online card for 20 dollars is worth it. Plus you can play the classic games from the NES era.

I love online multiplayer gaming so this is primarily the reason why I purchased it for my switch. So far so good. Reasonably priced compared to other competitors in the gaming space. Although it would be nice if Nintendo included online gaming for free as a thank you for purchasing the switch.

It's a digital card. Plug the code in the eShop to redeem. Download the SNES and NES apps and you can play retro games. Also opens up multiplayer gaming for Mario kart, animal crossings and various other multiplayer games. For $1.67/month not a bad value.

Nintendo Online is a good value, as it less than half the price of Xbox Live and Playstation Plus. It also provides free classic NES and SNES games as well as some fun battle royale games, Tetris 99 and Super Mario Bros 35.

Great discount to get a full year of online membership. Allows you to be able to play friends online and gives you access to lots a free Nintendo content. Definitely worth purchasing full 12 month membership.

This is a necessary purchase for your Nintendo account, especially if you are wanting to play online games including Animal Crossing. For example, if you want to visit other people's islands, you must have a Nintendo Online Membership. Also, I recommend it because it allows you to have access to a lot of classic Nintendo and Super Nintendo games for free (except for the cost of this membership) - so I definitely recommend.

Honestly, for 20 bucks you cant go wrong. You are able to download tetris 99 and the nes package with lots of original nes games, and then obviously the Nintendo online store, and you can play head to head with other ppl online.

Unlike other subscriptions (PS Plus, Xbox gamepass) this is definitely affordable and you also get at least NES other games! This will enhance your switch options!
