This is a great addition for the Switch. Nice to be able to play online.

For $20 a year you cant beat the access they give to you to a bunch of classic games as well as cool features for online only users and online play is a must for smash ultimate and splatoon 2. I miss that it use to be free but if you're really a cheap-o the family bundle can be split by 8 people for literally the cost of about $7 or less a year. I enjoy it and think it was worth the money.

This membership card is so incredibly easy to use and so helpful. Nintendo has made it super easy to navigate their website and membership programs. Even when the card was damaged and I was unable to read the code, I was able to text a photo to Nintendo's help department and receive assistance! A great tool with even better support.

This Nintendo membership is an awesome deal. 12 months of a good variety of games at your fingertips. Kids love it for their Switch. Fast delivery, great gift!

I got this solely to play classic games for free. And its worth every penny. Classic Ninento and Super Nintendo games run similarly to an emulator with the capability to rewind to replay a section rather than starting all over again. I spent hours using it the first day I got it and keep going back for all the amazing classic games.

So, obviously, Nintendo online is nothing like Xbox or Playstation, but its helpful to have, but definitely not required. I honestly bought it for the NES and SNES downloads. Some of the other perks they are giving out for specific games (additional downloads, etc.) are nice as well. I've used the online portion for Smash Bros and it worked well - but we stopped using the chat app and just did a voice call when playing with friends as it was easier and didn't have other players on the chat. Overall - worth the $20 on additional retro games, alone.

My 17 year old wanted this for Christmas and loves it. Great games, great value.

It allows you to play online with other people. A lot of fun.

We play online all the time! The Switch Online 3 month membership was a great way to introduce online gaming to my child, before purchasing the full 12 months. My only complaint is that they set up auto pay with little to no notice, so once the 3 month membership is up, they may charge the card on the account.

My child is very happy with playing this game, no complaints.

This was purchased as an add on gift for my teenager daughter. If your child is a gamer or likes to play with friends from the comfort of your own home, the online access membership is a MUST. At only $20, that's less than $2 a month for them to play to their hearts content... my daughter plays not only with her school friends but even some band members from her playlist!

Well it's no longer free online like prior Nintendo systems, but at least it's 20 bucks. You also get some classic games from the Nes and Super Nes. A much better deal than the new online tier with broken N64 games.

Must have for anyone wanting to do any online gaming. Especially with an added benefit of backing up all of your names via nintendo’s version of iCloud. As well, the added bonus of the super Nintendo and the classic nes games make it a no brainer for the price point

Nintendo Switch Online offers a variety of vintage games from NES, SNES, and N64 that are free to play with the subscription. It’s been fun to share these games with my kids!
