I got this for my son he loves Mario and he loves this controller also no more fighting over who's controller is who's with his sister looks cool and works great.

My wife and I bought a Wii in 2007, before we even had kids. Now we have two kids, recently upgraded to a Wii U, and bought the Mario and Luigi controllers so we have enough Wiimotes to go around. It's amazing how many different ways the controllers are used by the games. So although the design isn't ideal for any one particular role, it is very adaptable and well-suited to the variety. And the big, squishy, protective rubber case it comes with makes it very comfortable and protected. If this new remote is as durable as the original ones we bought six years ago, I will be very happy with it.

I've been a fan of the Wii since I purchased it on launch day but the basic Wii Remotes never really caught my eye. The new Luigi themed Wii Remote Plus is a fun way to update your Wii or Wii U controllers. Additionally, it makes it easier to know which remote is for which number player. In the past, having two white and two black Wii Remotes made it a pain to determine which was Player 1, etc. Now Mario is Player 1, Luigi Player 2 and so forth. I now own both this and the Mario remotes for that very reason. It's also great for kids that enjoy the more colorful design and button layout.

Works great and is needed for so many games on the Wii U. Superb controller with a fun look. Love the Luigi colors.

My daughter chose this because it's her birthstone color. She likes how it's easy to use and fits in her hand.

The green wii controller is my sons favorite. He loves that it is colored and it works just like the white ones.

So nice to have these remotes colored for everybody's likes. Makes playing the game more personal. Fun system.

Good controller does what it should, feels solid and better than the last one which was a non Nintendo brand remote. Would recommend this item to others.

Yeah it's cheaper refurbished from Nintendo in other colors and when sold in packs of two or more elsewhere. I just wanted a brand new one that matches with the color of my Wii U. It's a Wiimote with Motion Plus already built in. I'm sure everyone practically knows what its is by now. Oddly mine has Player 4 LED not lighting up at all. Eh, I'll solder a new one on in a few years if I feel like it. If you like Wii games this is needed, that's about it.

I have my original Wii remotes from circa 2006, and those are better quality as far as the durability, but these are still fairly well made. It's nice to not have that extra inch at the bottom (like when they first came out with the wii motion plus feature) so that it's easier to play with the controller horizontally.

My daughter wanted this for Mario kart because it's pink and has a crown on it . Works perfectly just like how you would expect from a nintendo product

We love this Wii remote. It's different from the standard white or black. It works like regular remote and vibrates as well. Only downside is that we had to switch to white back for our battery pack (we have wireless battery charger pad).

We purchased this remote because it does not come with the console so 2 players can play at the same time, such as racing in Mario Kart 8. Great remote, similar to the handheld one for the Wii but it's wireless and easily rechargeable.

Nice sturdy controller. Great for using with the dance games. We had the earlier versions without the extra motion sensor where you had to clip it on. They worked fine, however having the sensor build it is way better. Battery life seems ok.

It does what is is supposed to do. It works like all other controllers for the Wii U. My daughter loves it because she can always tell which controller is hers and I can always tell who didn't put their controller away after playing.

Functional for what it is, and cute too. We went ahead and got all of them. Only wish Yoshi was available for purchase in the states at Best Buy.

I bought this wii remote plus in black because it matches the Wii U that I bought. Works great for all those old Wii games you might still play!!.

I got the black controller because (for some reason) they discontinued the white ones. Works great through.
