This controller has been awesome. As a longtime Wii owner, I didn't think I would need to update my controllers when I purchased the Wii U for Christmas. But it quickly became apparent that the outdated Wii controllers with motion plus attachment case was not optimal for use on our new console. I considered getting a matching set of black motion plus controllers, but I couldn't help myself when I saw the character controllers. They are totally worth it. Not only do they work great, they are also super cute. My one complaint? The kids argue over which character controller they get to play with.

I bought this controller because I needed one for the Wii U. I decided to get this controller because of the Mario theme. It is better than the old boring colors.

We own the first generation Wii, but only had three remotes. I searched around online looking to buy a classic Wii remote, and they're ridiculously expensive! Thankfully, Best Buy had the Wii Remote Plus which, while designed for the Wii U, is backwards compatible with the first generation Wii. Now our whole family can play four-player games and nobody has to sit out. It works flawlessly with the classic Wii, so easily worth five stars.

Bought this one and the Mario remote because I didn't want to have the plain black ones. So far both are great and the colors look awesome.

Great gaming console fire the kids. I love the black she'll side it blends into the TV components and died not sick out line a sore thumb.

My daughter and I use this remote to play each other in Mario Cart 8. Works well with no problems, but goes through batteries pretty fast.

I wasn't sure about the pink controller at first. Mainly because, well, it's pink. We also got a black one and my wife thought it would be a good idea to have different colors so we could tell them apart. The kids fight over using the pink one so I guess that shows what I know. Nice sturdy controller. Great for using with the dance games. We had the earlier versions without the extra motion sensor where you had to clip it on. They worked fine, however having the sensor build it is way better. Battery life seems ok.

I bought an additional controller to play mario kart 8 with my girlfriend. It is solid controller and easy to change batteries.

It is a Wii remote with motion plus built in. It does what it needs to do and it looks awesome with the red Mario scheme.

It's great to have the core characters represented in the controller stack. Much better than standard white or black!

This is a great replacement for the original controllers I had and they are nice in design and functionality.

This was a gift appreciated by the recipient. The purpose of buying a pink colored control is to separate it from all the white controls that are banged around by kids every day. Hopefully the kids will leave the control alone. The recipient only uses the new control to select Netflix shows. The control has many gaming possibilities which will probably never be used. Less expensive controls were not in stock when I bought this one.

Works with wii and wii u. Solid black and goes well with anything.

This a just a good, sturdy, well-made controller for use with your Wii. Nothing special being a plain old black controller, but it has motion+ built in, it's well made and heavy duty so you don't have to worry about it breaking the first time it flies off one of the kids' hands, and it works perfectly. All-in-all it does exactly what it was designed to do, and it does it exceptionally well. But nothing extra here--no lights, etc.

Good deal on wii plus remotes. Price compared to target for 19.99 each. Love them- they work great:)

My nephew loves this Mario remote. Love the color. You can use this remote with Wii or Wii U.

I purchased this wiimote to get another wii motion plus. The coloring is fun and it works fine.

My wife loved this personalized controller. You cant go wrong with pink or Princess Peach.
