It is a great product, the grandkids had no problem setting it up and really enjoy playing with it

My son can't get enough of this wiiU!! Bought an open open box system and when we went to pick it up they didn't have an open box one so they gave me a new one! Awesome customer service!

Fun game system for 8 and 5 year old. Holiday gift

As the title states, I'm one of those people who wishes to have bought the Wii U sooner (last year). I haven't had a Nintendo home console since the N64. The moment I started playing with this system, it instantly became my favorite console. It's just fun plain and simple, there is no need for high end hardware in order to have a fun experience. Yes, the catalogue of game is lackluster, but the first party games are really good and especially fun. At the time of this review I play Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, Star Fox Zero and Splatoon (all of which are great games). I also own an Xbox One, but since I bought the Wii U, I'm barely using it. The system doesn't have party chat, which is a letdown. I've been forced to use Hangouts on my phone/computer while I play in order to talk with my friends. Finally, I don't recommend buying this system. At the time of this review, Nintendo is not considering releasing any more games for the Wii U (maybe One or Two "Nintendo" Games this year) , but with the release of the NX next year there is no reason for you to spend your money on this console. Don't get me wrong the console is great and fun, and If you're one of those that have a bit of extra money and doesn't mind spending it on a "dying" console, then go right ahead. One last thing, First Party Nintendo games retain their value to give an example Hyrule Warriors came out 2 years ago and I see it priced $50 in Amazon. Another thing to keep in mind is the availability of the games, you could have trouble finding a specific game, like Hyrule Warriors (I can't find it in any retail). Please Keep this in mind and do your research.

just what my boys were wanting to include the game

like many others, i have grown up playing nintendo games. from the first moment i was at a friend's house who just got the original NES and the legend of zelda i was hooked. there are other game systems out today that have more impressive hardware, but none (to me anyway) are as fun as the WiiU. my entire family can sit and spend a lazy weekend afternoon playing mario kart, smash brothers, or any number of other games together.

Wii U did not do well on the market, but that in no way takes away how fantastic a system it is. So many great games that are exclusive to it. Will be remembered fondly.

Nintendo is the best at creating family fun systems that are simple to use for all ages. The graphics are great and the software are plentiful! You can't go wrong with this purchase.

This is a great system. My daughter loves that she can hook up to the Internet and watch YouTube as well. Only warning is make sure you have a HD tv before you purchase this system.

I have always enjoyed Nintendo products and that is true for the Wii U. The graphics are fantastic. Very colorful, crisp, and vibrant. Absolutely love MarioKart 8. The best one yet.

An excellent, underrated system, especially considering the focus in the market on the PS4 and Xbox One. Many great games that really benefit from full HD. The controller takes some getting used to, but works great once you get used to its size. Good value as well, considering the inclusion of Mario Kart 8.

Purchased as a Christmas gift. It was an open box system, so the price was pretty good. I was a little leery because of it being open box, but it worked great and is so much fun.

My little girl was so excited and is been playing like me on my Xbox One. For a gamer that is great we got new TV'S side by side in our game room and I do have to say is awesome.

We love seeing our adult kids play with their own kids. Even Grandpa and I are able to join in the fun! The grandchildren want to come over even more than before we got the WiiU

You seriously can't go wrong as a gamer having a decent PC and a WiiU. PC will play most any big games out there and then you get the wonderful Nintendo exclusives on your WiiU.

This system is perfect for all age groups. Me and the whole famly enjoys The WII U. Also, I love that you can play from the controller when you dont want to use the television

Finally upgraded a 6 year old Wii console to this one. My 10 year old is a big Wii fan. Even with multiple new games, his use of this unit is infrequent at best. The unit works fine, but the upgrade is stymied by selection of games and average graphics. Its the platform...not quite keeping up with others.

I bought this for my sister for christmas. She has learning difficulties but once it was set up for her she was able to play the game on her own. Controls are easily managed.

Great game console. The younger kids really enjoy it! I love how the kids have connect movies to it and can carry it around to another room and watch a movie. They love itt!

Enjoy playing on the WiiU. Only have a couple of games so far but enjoy them! Hoping to get some new games soon! It was easy setup and use for someone who didn't have a game system.
